@armoredcorelore the desert one is harder than quad base one With base quad u can cheese it with large rocket The desert one always jumping after hit with large rocket
@@Sandal-z5bYes, and it's pin point accurate 99% of the time with its shoulder lasers that deal high damage. Very hard to dodge, it's not as simple as going with the tried and true micro missile strat and extensions. I don't even need rockets or missiles for the quad base one. I just need it to follow me outside the perimeter of the dome base and I can get it with dual machine guns with an AC fast enough
After defeating the quad pulverizer in the desert mission I had to pause for a moment and shut up. Stay silent and lie down. Took me weeks(I'm trash at this game). I also happened to refine one of my favorite builds in this fight, a build that I wanted desperately to work but couldn't figure out what was failing. After so much trial, error, and thinking I had it
I feel like the airbourne Pulverizer was a prototype for Armored Core NEXTs in the sense of having a shield and insane weaponry compared to regular AC's.
Oh you can see where from got their ideas from with these machine. And putting them on the next generation of ac i feel was them going you know i like this, but what if i could pilot it.
I always figured the Second Airborne Pulverizer was a last-ditch contingency that the controlling AI deployed in the event of a fatal shutdown. Another theory of mine is that the Internecine is responsible for the devastation on the surface that sent people underground before 3's story.
Another Age is the last game to take place in the AC1 - 2 timeline, and while there's not much of a plot, it references many things from Generation 1 and 2.
A breakdown into my beloved Pulverizers! They really hold up to their name, and it was them that made my time in Last Raven a very memorable one. With the Perfect Manual, I'm glad that the numbers back up to what I was feeling about the Quad Pulverizer hitting like a truck and soaking up the damage too. The Bipedeal ones, to me feel like a little step backwards from the Quad, but they surely look the part of being a weapon of destruction! As I see people speculate that the Internecine and Pulverizers, and the Controller/IBIS are from Aliens, for me I don't think so. We've fought aliens before in second gen, and the design language of all the areas and the enemies we encounter are strange, but they're not unhumanly strange like we see from the Disorder units like Scarabaeus and Filial. They look optimized to fight within atmosphere, and not exo-atmospheric like you see from those on Mars. My head canon is that the Internecine was a product of the previous human Civilization that created the Layereds that we see in 3 and Silent Line (which is a shame we don't get to revisit in Nexus or Last Raven despite knowing very well it would not have been 100% abandoned during the move to the surface
And that is how the lore should be. Open to opinions and theories, i like facts, but sometimes having a straight answer while good for data, is not sometimes a good conversation starter.
There is nothing written down, but if it was built before the great destruction which in this timeline would have been 3 unless we're counting the ending of nexus as another great destruction. Then its possible.
I did Pulverizer ending 1 once and during the final fight I fell through the floor around the center... they said the Portable port was kind of broken, but I didn't think it was THAT broken...
Nice work again ACL also are you going to be doing an deeper dive on what’s shown in secret level and how it fits into gen 6 I do have a question if you seen it yet but it’s more of personal thoughts due to there not being much to go along with secret levels episode in of its self
@@camera_man115 Thank you and honestly I have not watched the episode as I don't have amazon prime. From what I have seen and heard it seems the ac or cores as they call them fights are quite well done. But their seems to be more screen time for the humans in this then the acs.
@armoredcorelore not really it’s rather balanced between humans and ac but there’s a few things mentioned during the human parts that pokes my interest and something that I saw being mentioned in a Reddit post which could hint where this takes place in the time line I’ll put a hold on my question that I mentioned until you see the scenes so I don’t risk spoiling anything to you
I love the pulverizers, I am very curious if they and the AI were developed from the research done on Phobos in AC2, they seem like the continued development of a more technological version of the alien mechs from mars, with the final pulverizer the flying type being a hybrid of the final boss in AC2. Heck that would make sense why the information about the internecine is basically unknown, it wasnt built by humans but by whatever OTHER faction was fighting on mars during the war that wiped all the aliens out before humanity colonized mars back in AC2. Somebody salvaged it and moved its parts to earth. With the amount of power it generated it for sure was one of the 'weapons' that help end the world before the main AC timeline, heck it could have been responsible for AC's in the first place! Also thank you so much ACL for doing the pulverizers, cant wait for you to cover the AMIDA and the other weird biological weapons developed in AC!
My only issue with what you suggest is we know both to be different timelines. But there is nothing to say we did not have aliens visit the planet while earth was recovering. Ai are smart but lets be honest i bet a visitor from mars or else could have come to the planet and tried to do this. On the the other hand it could also have been the world governments or even corporations who as we know in ac like to play god till they create monsters or the next great destruction. It was a pleasure to cover them and oh how can i forget the creepy little one or big one too i should say.
@armoredcorelore OH I wasnt aware it was a different timeline! That makes me wonder if the most recent armored core is post 2 timeline or post last raven, or post 4/4 answer, or 5 lol so many to think about.
I'm re-experiencing PTSD from the desert pulverizer mission. IMO the hardest one in the whole game second to the hidden blue one
Oh we all are raven. I needed a break after these recordings ha ha. In fact you can see how badly i was kicked up and down by them.
@armoredcorelore the desert one is harder than quad base one

Yes. It's one of those "throw the controller at the screen" types of bosses

That is sometimes the joys of ac games. Using a build you like to beat a level, that's a good feeling.
The strongest pulverizer : hover leg
The most garbage legs in game : hover leg
FROMSOFT since 2005 : say "taste your own meds", i dare you
Oh we did, the whole freaking bottle ha ha.
Im not saying its aliens.
But its aliens.
Its always the aliens ha ha.
Those sneaky Disorder units did get to earth in Another Age after all...
i thought it's Skynet

Nice to see info about the Pulverizers
Thank you and someone did say they wanted to see what i could dig up. So thought I'd put creator and creations together.

I've been really waiting on this one. I love these things, and I would love for the concept to make a comeback in a future game.
More last raven bosses, i want to say no. But the raven inside me say yes ha ha.

All possible Foxeye. But from does like to leave things open.
I love AC Another Age but man its basically "non-canon"? at this point? We need a AC timeline video! 😎
Nah another age is very much cannon in its own time line and well maybe.
Another Age is the last game to take place in the AC1 - 2 timeline, and while there's not much of a plot, it references many things from Generation 1 and 2.
Thanks for mentioning the sources in the video, it's nice to look up where the info came from
No problem. I think its the right thing to do.

I always wondered if the Internecine and Pulverizers had some relation to the Controller.

I swear, the Final Pulverizer has a lot more AP than the manual portrays. I guess it's because every other one was shredded by micro missiles.
It is a tough fight, i admit even i want to say nah as the fight can go on forever.
i remember final pulverizer enters dom dead
And dead again and again and again.
Happy Holidays, I hope you're doing well. I am thankful for another lore video!
Happy holidays to you too azuresectrum, as always thank you for the very kind words. I am happy to get these two videos out i admit.

We're finishing the Tea and Crumpets with this one. 🗣️📢
I see. How very British i must be ha ha.
Just finished a run of the pulverizer route last night lol nice timing
Well glad i did not suffer alone then ha ha.
@armoredcorelore i was trying out some new builds and yeah that definitely resulted in more suffering than usual 😂

That's alot of AP, but it would seem they have no defense? It really doesn't feel like we chewed through all that AP
Honestly the book does not talk about defences, but i hear you as some fights do not last long with the right weapon.
yeah since it only takes 3 NIOH shots to take down Evangel's Pulverizer, or any quad variant.
Yeeessss 🎉 a last raven vid
Gotta share the love around ac.
I'm curious on the 9 Ball Pulverizor from Nexus. Would have been nice to have this here aince i doubt there is much info on it.
AH yes the unknown, well there very little on such a machine. But if i find anything i will try to put it into a video somewhere.
