Note: Laws, rules and requirements may be different where you are doing your exam. Always follow laws/rules/requirements that apply to where you are driving if they differ from the ones shown here. Also, the size of vehicles vary a lot, so you might have to make some adjustments depending on the size of your vehicle and the vehicle you're parking next to. Always do your verifications to make sure you're not getting too close to the other vehicles, people that might be passing by or any other obstacles before each maneuver. In this video I give as a reference the distance of someone standing between the two cars. It is only intended as an imaginary distance. Do not try this with someone in real life, it can be dangerous.
NOBODY else mentions how many times to turn the wheel!! it's the most important thing!
I'm a very experienced driver and looked at several videos on parallel parking, then tried the method in real life to evaluate them for ease of learning for a beginner. I found this by far the simplest and least complicated. The only thing to remember is to adjust the location of the mirror and licence plate if there are size discrepancies in the two vehicles. This is covered in another video. Great teaching aid!
Just did my test yesterday and didn't get to practice parallel beforehand but I remembered all your steps from your videos and passed. Thanks!
I like the way you speak man
I passed my road test yesterday because of your videos. Thank you.
I passed my test with parking after a while my parking not great I be feeling embarrassed
I am taking my test in 3 hours!!!! Wish me luck !
Lining your mirror with the other cars mirror is not always wise because the length of every car is different. Some cars have longer rear trunks that extend out further. The best thing to do is align your rear back wheels so that it's parallel to the end of the other cars trunk.
Whoa! That wheel turning explains a lot! I was always afraid of hitting the car in front and not much for the curb. Judging the distance in the front is always difficult for me. Thank you a lot!
What's point 3?
The best video ever on parallel parking. I got my license and still watch this from time to time so that I dont forget the basics
Thanks to your techniques, I passed my road test! I went through so many videos on UA-cam but yours made more sense and easy to follow. Thanks again!! 😊
Literally watched this right before I got to the DMV for my 2nd road test. I failed the first time because I hit the curb on the parallel park. This time, I did it perfectly! And I passed! Thank you so much for the videos!
8 months ago I got my driver's license . your videos helped me a lot in my first few months . Thank you
