At 3:42 You can see the runway markings for runway 06. Why are these markings so early when there is so much runway left. In other videos of shannon airport the runway 06 markings are at the start of the runway.
It is called a “displaced threshold.” It is to ensure that planes landing from the other (the 06) direction are on the correct glide path. There might be a buildings or something under the approach. Take-offs in the 06 direction CAN usually start their run in the “end area” . Cheers
The knob/dial on the far left turns the plane's wheels. The lever on the right increases and decreases power to the engines. What does the joystick on the left do?
Hi Sam, the joystick sends pilot requests to the flight computers on how he would prefer the airplane to be banked, e.g. up/down, left/right. The available computers vote accordingly and if they have no objection the plane banks accordingly. Thanks for watching
It looks like he had one clip for the instruments, and one for outside, The instruments clip is brighter so you can see them but the outside clip is dark.
Nice gentle landing there.👍

not computers, mostly plane controls
the plane wheels are moved from the feets
Such a cool video.
Agustín Víquez only if the nose wheel steering is on if not only the rudders on the rear tail of the plane will move left or right
Great video, what are the airlines/other pilots like with regards to letting you film your flights?
movieman162 That's a Good question! Thanks for watching (while it lasts..)
What's up with the weird editing here? Like you combined two clips or something.
It looks like he had one clip for the instruments, and one for outside, The instruments clip is brighter so you can see them but the outside clip is dark.
2 cameras combined to cope with the light extremes between in and out of cockpit. Thanks
Where did you fly in from???

What is with the cameras?
Simple, One for in and one for out. Good light balance but impossible to edit properly :-(
