This was a completely underrated movie. I remember people saying it was bad when it came out but now people are understanding it was actually a pretty good movie.
I loved that movie. I never understood why it got so much hate. The cast was excellent, and at first you wouldn't think Timothy Oliphant would he a good choice, but he was amazing.
Honestly if they made a proper Agent 47 movie there wouldent be anything other then him shooting/killing a few targets. The whole ide of 47 is to always be invisable in plain sight and no1 has any ide what toke place other then that some1 got killed. If they hade made that then that would have been 1 crappy movie. U cant make a movie involving the police going after a guy that dosent exist and never leaves any traces of where hes been. U cant make a real Agent 47 movie atleast not one that the fans first think off when they hear the name 47.
@@Shiftry87 I love how everyone gets on their high horse willfully ignoring that in the game, you are only a "silent assasin" when you actually go for that challenge, because as far as the game entices you to do you can: - Rig an android to shoot at your target in a weapon demonstration - Rig a tank to shoot full blast into your target and everyone near by - Rig an airconditioner system to either poison or sedate every single person ( including your target ) in an hotel lobby - Literally go to an operating room without any sort of disguise and letting your target see you causing a heart attack - Drop an entire light-rig in the middle of a fashion show
The closest things to a proper Hitman movie that I'm aware of is the original The Day of the Jackal film with Edward Fox and the hotel sequence at the end of the movie Heat.
Fun fact: There is a behind the scene's clip of an alternate ending which had the girl be killed in a drive by and 47 would walk off all sad. Glad they changed it.

In this movie, Agent47 killed the President's brother who was "untouchable". The CIA wanted Utre(the brother) dead and they "released" 47 in return. But i like your theory too :)
At around 2:30 that has to be the nicest deadly threat I’ve ever heard. “I hope you can, for both our sakes. I hope I never see you again.” Thunderclap for added drama. 😳
It's not just his distinctive look but he has a presence. And that's the only one good reason why Timothy was a bad choice. Tim does have presence. But casting someone that was easy for the audience to miss would destroy the point of the MOVIE. Unless they did the movie entirely from the perspective of the Interpol inspector. Seeing how many times you catch sight of 47, like the observers in Fringe. Now that I think about it, that's exactly how it should have been done in Hitman Agent 47. Not with this inspector, but some other person looking to put something on their wall.
If an assassin gives you a one and only chance to live with the perfect set up that wont leave strings attached due to their skills. You take that offer and be done with it. Dont chase or get involved anymore.
Apparently he isn't even in the car when it stops but ignoring that, he must have been able to sneak past the guards that was sitting with him without alerting them and since the CIA hired folks didn't say anything about a man sneaking away or just vanishing, you can guess that they were told to not say or do anything about that, especially when it was part of a deal between 47 and the CIA
this movie had its ups and downs but that was such a great line "you have no jurisdiction here" "we arent here" when the guy said that, interpol bros knew how much they are fucked...
