The Treasure of Alpheus Winterborn - 1980 (HDish) (John Bellairs)

The Treasure of Alpheus Winterborn (original story by John Bellairs) was part of a 1980 program called The Clue According to Sherlock Holmes. It was the first installment of the CBS Children's Mystery Theatre anthology series and originally aired on December 26, 1980.
I originally posted this video on this channel 13 years ago. Since video editing and audio restoration software have vastly improved since then, I thought I'd see if I could improve the video and sound quality. I'm very happy with the results! Now, I say "HDish" in the title because while I did upscale it to HD using Topaz Video AI, the original source is a videotape, and there is only so much that can be improved. Unfortunately, the one tool I used to improve the video quality also introduced a bit of interlacing as well! And for some reason, I can't deinterlace it at all. Tell me in the comments what you think about it if you like.
Unlike the original video, I didn't edit out the Sherlock Holmes stuff this time.
