Great vid! To add to this, and I think ID came up with this, the key story from candy cadet may imply that Charlie could have saved one of the kids, but because she focused on trying to save all of them, they were all left trapped.
That is an interesting take on Candy Cadet's stories. I was never entirely sold on the idea of his stories alluding to William melting down the original animatronics into the Funtimes. Maybe there is something there.. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
I feel that what Puppet did was a response to seeing the souls of the children still lingering around the restaurant. She offered them the misguided prospect of revenge, in the hopes that they'd all be able to move on after catching their murderer, but would come to immensely regret it as time went on. Definitely caused harm, but it was with good intentions, and she ultimately earned redemption after helping the other childrens' souls escape their prisons in FNAF 3, and thereafter singularly taking on what she felt was the responsibility of following Afton herself.
I often feel like people forget that the puppet was the one that stuffed the kids bc I often see channels like gt talk about how William hid the bodies in the suits
If the WillStuff theory was canon it would be odd, since it's implied that the animatronics aren't meant to be in the saferoom anyway. It wouldn't make sense for people to just not question the weird dude hauling tall ass animatronics to a backroom after a bunch of kids went missing. I mean...we LITERALLY see Charlie putting the masks on the kids in the Give Gifts minigame.
I've always kind of wondered if it was both..Maybe it started with the puppet doing it but William started doing it later on (like how in FNAF1 there's no puppet to do so); or maybe william stuffs the bodies themselves and charlie actually guides the SOULS to the animatronics (back to their bodies), even when it's obvious the bodies are gone eventually the souls still linger (I can't imagine the bodies STAYED, especially since we don't see them in the withereds and I'm sure people would of found them inside the animatronics eventually especially with the complaints).
tbh give gifts give life is so confusing. either it makes william stupid or the puppet useless depending on how you interpret it and thus who you decide stuffed the kids.
Thanks for sharing your insight! It brings in a new perspective on who the characters really are thanks to Henry's speech. Calling the animatronics "monsters" and telling them to let go of their souls...this implies the animatronics we get to see throughout the games are not merely the souls of the children, but rather an abnormal amalgamation of negative emotions fueled *by* the children's souls. All with the exception of Charlie, per her own words. It's so interesting to see things this way.

Wait, Is the Puppet a boy or a girl?
I believe puppet as an animatronic is male, and the soul inside is female
@@troublemonkey1_626 Well I also believe that the puppet is a female
Well, Charlie is a girl and she controls the puppet at the time the games take place, so it's a she :)
I said this in another reply, the animatronic itself is male. However, Charlie is female. In UCN the Puppet is referred to as "he"
@@lautystudiosprod311 Game refers to Puppet as He.
👍
not to be that guy but the puppet is possesed by charlie aka a female
And yet, Puppet is a *he* ingame. Because the character is a He. Much like Cassidy, a girl, is a He in GFreddy.
(This is something the books hint towards, too...)
@@higueraft571 oh so the puppet itself is a he
@@Rarkss And likely Charlie, once she'd forgotten her Old Identity.
@@higueraft571no, it's because Scott changed his mind and made the puppet a girl when it the original minigame it was a boy
@@fosminclorin >and made the puppet a girl
Puppet is a He in UCN, that is not FNAF 2.
it also should be noted, charlie died when what..2-3 years old? a child so young wouldnt even think twice about "restoring" the others that got their lives taken. she only knows what happened to her, a second chance, and gives that "gift" to them as well. at the root of it all, William /is/ the problem and Charlie became collateral damage by restoring the other children via the MCI incidents.
A 2-3 year-old wouldn't be left unsupervised like that. But even an older child would make the same mistake she did, especially when they're influenced by the robots protective AI.
@@vanyadolly The ages of the children are never stated as well. They could be as old as 10 for example..we don't really know.
The puppet is a girl
Game refers to Puppet as He.
Yes, Charlie is a girl, and The Puppet is often referred to as a guy. I use "it" and "he" pronouns when referring to The Puppet in this video.
SHE
The Puppet animatronic itself is personified as a male, even in UCN it's referred to as an "he", Charlie is female tho
Puppet is female, no hate tho
The puppet itself is male, the spirit possessing is female
The puppet is a she just wanna let you know the thumbnail bugs me
The puppet animationic is a HE. Its referred** to as a HE in UCN, however we know that inside (charlie) is a SHE...
You really gotta chill. Its a game. That states its a he, but the soul is from a female. Thats fact.
Game refers to Puppet as He.
@@higueraft571 Henry's daughter is the puppet
@@Sir_plinks And the Puppet is still "He".
@higueraft571 and the person In control is a she
