One thing to point out evidence wise is in the FNaF Movie the resteraunt itself is actually haunted, shown by the lights and the fact it starts imploding itself during the springlocks
Ah, see my take was that all that was caused by the choreography system mentioned in the books. The robots are connected to the building's systems, so there's some backwards flow, but the yellow rabbit suit directs the choreography, hence the disaster that ensues
@@LTC033doesn’t that have issues (outside of the movie) with the information in The Week Before and the animatronics charging up their batteries to be able to escape? We don’t ever _really_ see the Yellow Rabbit perform outside of Fredbear’s (in any continuity iirc?) we know it exists as a suit, and a spring lock one at that, but we never see the Yellow Rabbit out there on stage. Nor does he have a place in the band when separated from Fredbear. I really like the theory for the movie, but it doesn’t line up with the books or the games and the “get out of the prison of their diner/place” is in Sister Location, The Week Before, and the Silver Eyes trilogy. Plus I might be able to argue for “Into the Pit,” both game and book, to qualify as well. So the charging pads are in three out of five continuities, with Tales still making books, and… I honestly cannot remember if they had charging pads in the movie. But that is a very cool bit of lore/theory for the movie, especially, as a really wildly different medium than novels or video games and being practical effects.
@@Crisjola my take was more that the yellow rabbit suit is connected to a building-wide system for influencing the flow of performances, which, if you were going to have a performer get up on stage to do something or take requests from guests, would be extremely useful. As part of the entertainment system, the band are also part of that, just on the receiving end of instructions... Usually. It's also possible that they just have a sort of area-of-affect. But I think the wild lights and sound system being triggered by the spring lock failure makes a lot of sense of an otherwise fairly inexplicable scene
And although these scenes were scrapped, Garrett was supposed to appear in the pizzeria on at least two occasions. First, early on when the building freaks out for the first time and Mike gets shanked by Foxy in his dream, and second, while Mike is limping around looking for Abby in the final act of the movie. We know they filmed these scenes from photos, and they were described in the movie novel. There was no indication of him haunting a particular animatronic, his ghost was just there; something which DOES align with what motivates Mike to keep working at the pizzeria in the first place.
*One day, he vanished without a trace. * They say he shattered across time and space. * Ha ha... * How can I say so without fear? * I'm holding a piece of him right here. (ref) I really enjoy entertaining parallels between two entirely theoretical stories. Genuinely funny.
honestly, this makes so much sense, with the candy cadet theme of "5 things become 1" sorta stuff, surprised you didn't mention that part like, it fits EXACTLY to the theme, it provides the reason of WHY, the stories iterate that it's important, always having a theme of putting things together, but rarely having an actual explanation as to why, but the theory explains the reason it's important being giving him rest he couldn't get by himself
I agree with this and want to add that Candy Cadets stories all end with the one thing being wrong in some way. The one key doesn't work, the cats and the kids are mismatched horrors. Does this mean Dave isn't going to be Dave anymore? Possibly another antagonist or another sinister background theme or something? I dunno, I'm spitballing but I like the shatter victim theory and feel like it has a lot behind it and there's more than can be inferred.
Honestly the strongest new evidence for ShatterVictim is the fact that 'ITS ME' shows up constantly even from non-Golden Freddy animatronics. I know you've argued that it might mean 'ITS ME' isn't related to Dave, but if it is and ShatterTheory is right then suddenly the worlds showing up on signs and from the voice boxes of the other animatronics makes a lot more sense too. I also like the idea more because it puts less emphasis on Dave possessing Golden Freddy specifically.
Someone has probably said this before but if this theory is true, it would probably make MoltenMCI make a lot more sense as well. They are all of the pieces put together.
I think it's a really interesting theory that could be true as well. Its even a real theory for how some hauntings may happen! Lots of strong emotions sort of infect the location and continue to linger on. In this case it could also be connected to Agony. Dave's agony stuck to everything within the building. And I think Freddy's and Fredbear's were open for a bit together so its possible that our og bots were in a Fredbear's location, and ended up affected directly. A bit unrelated but I think remnant and agony are based on the real life theory of residual hauntings being caused by trapped emotions. I think looking into similar theories about ghosts/the paranormal could help with future theories ^^
YESSS, some BV theories! BV is one if my favorite theory topics because it’s up to so much interpretation everyone will have a different opinion and perspective on it, it makes for some really cool discussion. I’m making a MASSIVE theory video myself about FNAF World and Ruin and stuff, and figuring out how he fits into it was a fun time. Excited to see what you have to say here!
I really liked this video. ShatterVictim has always interested me. I think a really in depth conversation about it would have to mention how Ennard can be seen as Elizabeth being put back together, evidence being that in the Ennard night this is the first time we hear Elizabeth use her real voice, rather than Baby’s (not saying I agree with it, just one small bit that plays into ShatterVictim). If you believe that he who says “I will put you back together” to David is William, this may explain Follow Me, as an attempt by William to put David back together. These are interesting points, that have their counterarguments, but I think are worth talking about with respect to ShatterVictim. That’s all. Loved the video :3
Things I wanna say. 1. I once had a idea that Dave’s soul was fragmented into 4 pieces, 1 part of soul went into the fredbear plush, another went to golden Freddy/fredbear, another become shadow Freddy and one becomes Gregory. 2. What if Dave somehow latched his soul into Michael as a way to always remind him what he did but at some point he starts trying to reach to Michael. 3. I think that the Fredbear plush is possibly now haunted with Dave’s agony and we may see it again in the future. 4. I think theirs a possibility that Dave during his time in the hospital could’ve been saved but William took him off life support in order to see if he could just bring him back his own way. 5. I think it’s possible the reason why Dave is afraid of the animatronics is because he believes he saw the animatronics being dangerous, I remember their was something that said: what is seen in the shadows is easily mistaken in the mind of a child or something like that. 6. What if Dave or Cassidy are someone able to influence or control the other animatronics like how in ultimate custom night Cassidy speaks through the mediocre melodies.
The thing is, Dave never was angry at the characters, he actually liked them, paralleling Andrew. Also, the crying child would have needed to go to into parts of micheal (or at least william) but he never does. Finally Dave never got put back together until maybe security breach.
If ShatterVictim is viable, could MoltenMCI just be the culmination that allows for Dave (crying child) to move on? I think by combining the two that William, whether aware of it or not, did put his son back together. I don't know if that counts as a completely seperate theory when combining the two, but it's still interesting to think about
I think so, yeah! For context here, I believe that the final voice talking to BV through the plush is William. William is the one who promised BV that he’d put him back together, and that’s exactly what eventually happened through Molten Freddy. However, not for the reason you’re expecting. William doesn’t like, care about his son or anything, he instead wants to experiment and torture him. This is William’s way of finding out how ghosts work, part of his own process of rejecting death. Think of it this way, there are two ways to put BV back together. Either William will do it, in which he turns BV and the MCI into a monstrosity that tortures all of them, or Charlotte does it, in which she brings BV and the MCI back together to finally have their Happiest Day and rest. Both of these outcomes happen, but William succeeds first. That’s why the fnaf 3 bad ending happens when the good ending is still canon, William beat Charlotte to his own twisted Happiest Day. She is then left to wait until her dad destroys Molten Freddy, allowing her to do it the right way.
I agree with the Shatter Theory. Though I believe Dave Afton saw someone in a Fredbear suit going through a Springlock Failure. Michael Afton didn't believe that Fredbear ate someone, and William encouraged him to believe his thoughts on what he saw and tried to keep him out until his birthday, the last time in Fredbear's. So others won't be worried. Michael Afton has a Nighmares, thinking Fredbear has a stomach mouth.
You know, the points made at 7:50 lend well to an explanation for why William would have come back to tear the animatronics apart in the fnaf 3 minigame. Sure, it could've been for the remnant or to smelt them down into one bigger animatronic. But if pieces of Dave are stuck to these animatronics.. he literally has to disassemble them in order to "put him back together".
@RyeToast I realize something that this theory gives a solution too, why did William destroy the fnaf 1 amatronics, to bring Dave back together, if it is true that the most of Dave's soul were in them
In sister location it's explicitly stated that michael succesfully put elizabeth back together The clear implication is that this refers to the creation of ennard All the pieces being put together into a single being Remember that scott has said that if the fanbase is confused about something he tries to use the next game to clarify it So the fanbase didn't get what being put back together meant and he used sister location to clarify It's just a shame the fanbase still didn't get it Also, if you believe moltenmci is also true... Just listen to molten freddy's voice lines "Thanks for letting me join the party, i'll try not to disappoint" "Oh, what a pleasant surprise!" "Together again!" "One big happy family!" Dave is quite happy to see his family again... And i would just like to say to anyone who's into these kinds of "esoteric" theories that shattervictim is the most simple version There's those that say that dave's memories directly affect reality which is a concept i absolutely love Why is the tiny toy chica missing her beak? Because dave saw that and then his memories made the real toy chica do the same in fnaf 2 And then there's the masterpiece that is network theory by madesuki I highly recommend anyone into these complicated spiritual theories to read it Even if you don't fully understand it (like me) the mere concept is great
Hey, rye long shot. You actually look at this, but i dont see enough people talking about this in the week before it's stated that mrs Andrews looks after Ralph's daughter after hers went missing what if her daughter was actually Cassidy and we now have her full name cassidy Andrews and that would further push the narrative that in the frights books andrew is a Cassidy stand in
In retrospect this is all MAD obvious and it's *crazy* it took us this long to figure out (granted, Scott deployed a HUGE smokescreen). In FNaF3 Dave Crying Child is the secret fifth crying child in a party room standing next to a table at the far right end of a *monochromatic* room, and he drops a Golden Freddy mask when "the pieces are put back together" allowing him to move on during his Happiest Day. In FNaF4, a crying child's terminal birthday party is the central story, and the last place the kid is standing is right next to a party table, at the far but *opposite* end of a *colorful* party room, where he then gets obliterated by Fredbear and dies in hospital, and thereafter a golden-eyed Fredbear plush tells him he's broken and says "I will put you back together" as the kid's soul fades away and is then shattered across time and space. That day was the exact *opposite* of his happiest day, the Bite of '83. Then in FNaF World the game makes it painstakingly clear that you're helping a "him" (Dave) by putting errant scattered pieces in place within a barebones version of the FNaF3 Secret Minigames, thereby allowing an outside force to put those pieces back together and allow *The Happiest Day* to occur. Then The Silver Eyes sows the seeds of "ghosts are memories," and Sister Location, while course-correcting the misunderstood story, serves to prove that the FNaF4 Night gameplay is NOT Dave Crying Child's nightmares or dying thoughts, but a cruel punishment and test carried out by the driven mad father William Afton as he tries experimenting with foundational parts of Life itself to, presumably initially, bring his kid back, but was ultimately a vanity project to preserve his own life because William was a megalomaniac. The only reasons why we *didn't* catch this was because the first wave theorists were busy trying to decipher the Dream Theory breadcrumbs Scott laid, as he intended 4 to be the finale before realizing that "It Was Just a Dream" sucks as an ultimate conclusion 9 outta 10 times (and only in really cerebral, psychological stories does "dream theory" actually pay off), and the stylistic change in FNaF World put a LOT of people off, preventing the necessary eyes to look at the game inquisitively and figure it all out. (then later in 2017-2018 we were stuck on "robot people" as an explanation for every weird character ever, there possibly being 2 Purple Guys and a Pink Guy, and there being like two Springtraps or some shit. Y'know, bored 2017 stuff.) If Scott never bothered with the "Just a Dream" conclusion and people in the mid-2010s weren't so surface level with judgement and analysis, we could've tied off the first 4 games much easier had we known this detail about the Crying Child (later possibly proven to be Dave Afton). I feel like Scott definitely started figuring this out himself by the time of The Silver Eyes, and he then had to juggle this and all the other crap going on with theories and story speculation in 2016-17-18 through course correction. Edit: also IT'S ME shows up practically EVERYWHERE in the Core 4, EXCEPT for FNaF4 (the only thing similar to that being the "Was It Me?" marketing before the game came out).
Thing is, while the evidence is technically there- there isn’t really any evidence as to how the crying child’s memories would get into everything. The original freddy animatronics weren’t even at fredbear’s as far as we know so it just wouldn’t make sense to me that his soul just somehow managed to end up in them. Also to add on, the parallel to william in the fazbear frights series is nice, but his body was physically incredibly close to all the objects that got posessed (and literally got covered in his remains if the exploding part is literal, haven’t read the books)- meanwhile the only thing that could have had the crying child’s agony/spirit/whatever is fredbear or *maybe* spring bonnie because they were the only things nearby I think there’s just a bit too many holes and questions for me to believe it personally, but I could see it being true if more evidence appeared to fill in some of the missing details
Crazy that this doesn't even get into how FNaF 4's minigames seem to foreshadow later events in the timeline (The layout of CC's birthday reflecting Happiest Day's; Michael's unavoidable Foxy Mask jumpscare like the unavoidable Funtime Foxy jumpscare in Sister Location; CC hiding under the table much like how Mike hides under the desk in Night 2 of SL), almost as if CC's memories are influencing the whole timeline
This thumbnail is so cute and sad Also there's variations of shattervictim that have him shattered into different things like the environment itself, backwards explaining why the games parallel the fnaf4 minigames Also i like how you incidentally proposed the idea that dave is possessing mike before considering shattervictim lol
Some other people have mentioned it, but i like that the idea of The Crying Child haunting the building. Some say that fredbear's family diner and the FNAF 1 location are one and the same. Which would explain some things.
"None toxic" isnt true It using essential oils witch aren't ment to be digested and so they aren't tested if they are toxic and probably are especially to breath
3:55 im glad you mentioned it. i have a feeling not many people really know you can actually enter a poster minigame at any point in the game. you can literally do second bb when he delivers a cake at any point you want, either right after the first one or even just before the happiest day and speaking of the happiest day you can enter the minigame at any point in the game too but it'll just show you progress and you won't be able to place the cake on the table unless you have all 4 children
Yk what’s crazy to think about- since the CC had his head bitten it’s safe to say he sustained brain damage so it likely altered his personality- as in real life, it CAN CAUSE drastic changes
Honestly, the part I like the most about this video isn't even the part of Dave and his spirit (or spirit parts), but the idea that he still loves Freddy and the rest of the characters in plush form, yet is deeply terrified of their animatronic version. If Dave is the protagonist of the FNAF 4 gameplay part, that'd explain why the plushies are the symbol of the "safest" stages of the animatronics (Foxy plush, Freddy plush being visible when there aren't any Freddles on the bed).
Hey Rye, Love the theory and hearing your perspective on the crying child. I do want to mention idk about anyone else but the bubble pop noises whenever a picture pops up get kind of disruptive for me and start to bug a bit. Just thought I would mention it, idk maybe I'm the only one.
15:19 what happened is he was put through the equivalent to the real life 'Calm' experiment done by Marilyn Schiltz. Where she took subjects who were more susceptible to feeling loneliness and anxiety, and put them alone and added stressors, until they were stressed to their peak and then calmed them, much like the fred bear plush, to see if the energy of them being calmed could be measured.
I suddenly now feel that ShatterVictim could be possible... If it's with his plushies. To elaborate, the "I will put you back together" line may not make much sense for it to be William speaking in person due to the line "We're still your friends" (Will may be an A+ in theatrics, but did he care enough to talk about this "mission of his that's about helping his son"?) So I can see that Mike brought all of Dave's plushies to the hospital (maybe all of that agony even causing the nightmare nights but that's the idea with least thoughts put into it) and that's why they're there with him in his last moments. Why Dave's idea turned spectral of Fredbear talked to him. ... Granted, I can see this not working, like maybe the OG idea of the box being the plushies being put there after Mike takes them back after it was MAYBE decided to mercifully disconnect his life support, making it make less sense as to how it got to the animatronics or at the very least the restaurants themselves, or how maybe the actually Psychic Friend Fredbear could have gotten to the yellow bear suit itself and that's related as to why the Puppet seemingly had nothing to do with it being possessed because that one sounds like a big "how?" And somehow related, but now I'm thinking that Happiest Day didn't have the intention of helping the MCI to move on, but rather to find them so they could help Dave to move on, wearing the tainted is brain blood masks of his friends. What reminded him of his friends are now wishing him a happy birthday rather than bullying him. (Timeline shenanigans currently feel dizzy with this interpretation like fucking FNaF World during FNaF3 but afterwards is FNaF World Update 2 and then SL but eh...)
The shattered victim theory makes sense to me in terms of "I will put you back together." I've always thought that wording is weird for a child who died that you want to bring back. He wasn't like.....dismembered...so what is he putting back together? There are so many theories and so little concrete facts in this franchise but I still love it so much and can't get enough of theory videos!
It feels more like he might be haunting the location and influencing the bots/other children than he is scattered into the other animatronics. Is it possible that that moment tells us that it's the same building?
This theory makes much more sense under the idea that the FNaF 4 neighborhood kids are the missing children. The crying child spread his agony with them through his tears and once they died and possessed the Freddy’s animatronics, he partially possessed them too, and his soul could only be put back together with all the animatronics. Ennard. But Elizabeth in Baby was controlling and crowding them. Once they kicked her out, the crying child’s soul was put back together and possesses Molten Freddy, which is why he says “One big happy family”.
11:15 When hes "everywhere", this is the phenomena where his energy is an EMF. As spoken by Charlie, Marla, Dave, and Taggart, its the 'memory' that 'lingers' and 'wafts'. Andrew's charge was a field in that moment. Wanting to be on everything is due to the Law of Attraction. He ended up in Fetch, charging its battery pack.
What do you think Michael saying "I put her back together" (seemingly referring to Elizabeth) in his monologue in Sister Location implies about what "putting someone back together" means?
Really just a complete shot in the dark, but another way that CC could be haunting the restaurant (most likely the FNAF1 location) is if it was once that very same Fredbear's location; the one where CC died in. The Fredbear suit that killed him still could have been de-boned (I.e no exoskeleton) and put away in the back or the "hidden Springlock room" of that location, then it was abandoned for while and picked back up when fnaf 1 rolls around. I wouldnt know the irl business semantics side of this theory, but it does make sense in a fictional story thematically that one of the first Fredbears locations would become one of the last Freddy's locations as the business begins falling apart (at least until Faz Ent. rises back up in SB). Idk, I thought this would be cool. I dont have any proof but it would be a good explanation to the Shattervictim's question of how CC can affect Freddy and the gang
i think you've forgot to mention the strongest evidence to the theory, no one really talks about. in the very first FNaF4 minigame it's implied that the crying child's name is actually WASD, and these letters do appear above the animatronics in FNaF3 Follow Me minigames, implying that WASD's spirit is split between them all.
I feel like it makes sense. Why else would they need to "put him back together?" I feel like that's really deliberate phrasing and means that he had to have been broken apart first.
You should watch @Candi Buunny s video “where the heck is golden Freddy in fnaf 3” !! it shares a lot of the same evidence as this theory but goes somewhere completely different with it and I really wanna see your opinion on it!!
8:03 it's not that his memories are 'gone', more that he's one specific memory, one of darkness and confusion as he passed from the bite. He is an energy created by the human consciousness from a specific moment. That moment is what charges the energy. This is what Talbert meant when he said remnant is mixing memory with metal.
i like this theory! it actually ties up something that always sort of confused me: why is the crying child (Dave, i still can't believe he has a name now) so important? in other words that feel silly to use now, why is he so special? like i always sort of wondered what was different about him vs the rest of the children that were also killed in a Freddy's, in that Charlotte/Puppet could guide them and their souls to move on relatively simply, while cc/Dave needed all the intricacies of happiest day/FNAF World. maybe this is what made him different and something requiring focus on. i always kinda just figured he was just "special" through his relationship to Afton, and thus to the audience and story of fnaf as a whole, which felt a little cheap to me from a narrative perspective, so this is actually pretty neat to have a proper potential answer to those thoughts!
I wonder if that same idea is how we can hear an impossible recording of the springlock failure on afton in into the pit, which shouldn't be possible but we can hear his death. That could be a similar thing to hearing the bite victim here
I created my own theory and named it "ShatterCassiedyGoldenVictim" (SCGV) it is that c.c's name is cassiedy it is in golden freddy but it is available for other robots and other locations Because cassiedy (from what we know, her name is canonical, not the character itself) + Dave is the result of a poorly resolved logbook that's why we have a name for a character we don't know at all and c.c whose name we don't know but we know the whole backstory (so cassiedy completes c.c) c.c haunts Golden Freddie, but not only does it haunt his brother, other souls cause his memories to be recreated, e.g. TBo83 it made the animatronics from fnaf 2 later make TBo87 this explains "4 games one story" because golden freddy is not present in sl ffps etc. fnaf world in such a case would not be a place where c.c. has control over everything and everyone
7:39 this has been planned since the beginning. Cawthon has woven a very intricate and precise quantum wave function and it's natural properties into FNAF.
12:37- Memories are emotional energy. Charlie, Marla, and Taggart were right, there are not ghosts in FNAF. These electrical charges that contain their consciousness' memory cant move on when theyre shattered, because their charge is still going to exist elsewhere.
I have a theory about FNAF 4, I believe the final cutscene is the Crying Child's perception of what he saw in the bite, being the masked kids and Fredbear, and all the stuff he's heard in said cutscene is what people were physically saying in that moment
Hear me out: William was already creating another animatronic set for another restaurant. With plans to experiment with life already. Then, imagine watching your father stuff a dog's corpse into a Fun-Time Foxy animatronic (mangle) and as a kid you start to think that all the animatronics now have dead doggies in them. You would be scared. Then Dave gets killed, so William starts to target children to figure out how to revive him and it unsurprisingly goes awry. I think William hit the dog on accident and to get rid of the corpse he uses it in an experiment. Then Chica happens to be the sibling of Dave's accidental murderer and so he starts with her.
He trapped in the box. Honestly, William could have accidentally split him in an attempt to fix him. Afterall, William would have not known everything about Remnant yet.
Out of curiosity...have you ever looked into the ShadowVictim theory? Cause the first time I heard the term ShatterVictim I misheard it as ShadowVictim which is a theory I follow saying that Dave (Bite Victim) is Shadow Freddy...if you'd like I could send some of the evidence I've gathered for it to see if you think the theory works (it probably could work in line with Shatter!Victim just from what I've heard)

I feel that
Honestly the strongest new evidence for ShatterVictim is the fact that 'ITS ME' shows up constantly even from non-Golden Freddy animatronics. I know you've argued that it might mean 'ITS ME' isn't related to Dave, but if it is and ShatterTheory is right then suddenly the worlds showing up on signs and from the voice boxes of the other animatronics makes a lot more sense too. I also like the idea more because it puts less emphasis on Dave possessing Golden Freddy specifically.
why do I always end up weeping when the Crying Child is talked about? man i just wanna give the poor kid a hug and an ice cream
Crying Child got a mad skill issue
True
Speaking of Dave, I just had the damnedest idea of comparing him to Shinji ikari. I guess in this scenario William would be comparable to gendo.
No
Best FNAF theory channel ever in my opinion and Rye toast deserve all and more
Someone has probably said this before but if this theory is true, it would probably make MoltenMCI make a lot more sense as well.

Exciting! Good luck!
This is by far my favorite BV theory and has been my belief for about a year now, it’s about time this theory got recognition on youtube
Holy cow it's Godzilla!
@@AngelTheory-M I didn’t even say I believed anything 😭
I will say, I don’t believe your theory though :P
michael *does* say he put elizabeth back together at the end of sister location
@@AngelTheory-M This would be awesome!!!
7:10 bro that’s how it feels going from Pizzeria Sim’s lore to SBs
The thing is, Dave never was angry at the characters, he actually liked them, paralleling Andrew. Also, the crying child would have needed to go to into parts of micheal (or at least william) but he never does. Finally Dave never got put back together until maybe security breach.
I forgo what parallel means lol mb but my point still stands if you replace parallel with opposite
If ShatterVictim is viable, could MoltenMCI just be the culmination that allows for Dave (crying child) to move on? I think by combining the two that William, whether aware of it or not, did put his son back together. I don't know if that counts as a completely seperate theory when combining the two, but it's still interesting to think about
Many people have pointed this out. It is quite likely as Molten Freddy makes a lot of birthday party references (Bite of 83 birthday?)
He Just Kinda got Left in The Dark, By his assumed Plush friends.
Yea, No.
I wouldn't have Moved on Neither.
Fair lol
@RyeToast I realize something that this theory gives a solution too, why did William destroy the fnaf 1 amatronics, to bring Dave back together, if it is true that the most of Dave's soul were in them
I mean its a pretty good theory believable atleast, like you said it’s got a lot of evidence backing it I’ll use it moving forward tbh.
Dope!
In sister location it's explicitly stated that michael succesfully put elizabeth back together
The clear implication is that this refers to the creation of ennard
All the pieces being put together into a single being
Remember that scott has said that if the fanbase is confused about something he tries to use the next game to clarify it
So the fanbase didn't get what being put back together meant and he used sister location to clarify
It's just a shame the fanbase still didn't get it
Also, if you believe moltenmci is also true...
Just listen to molten freddy's voice lines
"Thanks for letting me join the party, i'll try not to disappoint"
"Oh, what a pleasant surprise!"
"Together again!"
"One big happy family!"
Dave is quite happy to see his family again...
And i would just like to say to anyone who's into these kinds of "esoteric" theories that shattervictim is the most simple version
There's those that say that dave's memories directly affect reality which is a concept i absolutely love
Why is the tiny toy chica missing her beak?
Because dave saw that and then his memories made the real toy chica do the same in fnaf 2
And then there's the masterpiece that is network theory by madesuki
I highly recommend anyone into these complicated spiritual theories to read it
Even if you don't fully understand it (like me) the mere concept is great

Hey, rye long shot. You actually look at this, but i dont see enough people talking about this in the week before it's stated that mrs Andrews looks after Ralph's daughter after hers went missing what if her daughter was actually Cassidy and we now have her full name cassidy Andrews and that would further push the narrative that in the frights books andrew is a Cassidy stand in
Honestly, I kinda love the sponsor adventure saga. I'm always wondering where you'll end up next before doing your read, lol
My favorite thing is tuning out of the fnaf theorizing fandom for like 6 months and then spending a bunch of time deciphering all the new theory names
Y'know, bored 2017 stuff.)
If Scott never bothered with the "Just a Dream" conclusion and people in the mid-2010s weren't so surface level with judgement and analysis, we could've tied off the first 4 games much easier had we known this detail about the Crying Child (later possibly proven to be Dave Afton).
16:44 Ryetoast acknowledging Castermind as a possibility?
This is an interesting development.
remember how you said ´its me` is all over the book? wouldnt that hint Dave possesing everthing as ´its me` is linked to golden freddy heavly
Thing is, while the evidence is technically there- there isn’t really any evidence as to how the crying child’s memories would get into everything. The original freddy animatronics weren’t even at fredbear’s as far as we know so it just wouldn’t make sense to me that his soul just somehow managed to end up in them.
Also to add on, the parallel to william in the fazbear frights series is nice, but his body was physically incredibly close to all the objects that got posessed (and literally got covered in his remains if the exploding part is literal, haven’t read the books)- meanwhile the only thing that could have had the crying child’s agony/spirit/whatever is fredbear or *maybe* spring bonnie because they were the only things nearby
I think there’s just a bit too many holes and questions for me to believe it personally, but I could see it being true if more evidence appeared to fill in some of the missing details
17:07 HE IS IN WHAT??
Isn’t Dave the name that William used in The Silver Eyes trilogy? Prolly not useful but just a thought
It is! Hyperdroid brought that up as possible supporting evidence, like father like son using a dead person as a fake name
This thumbnail is so cute and sad
Also there's variations of shattervictim that have him shattered into different things like the environment itself, backwards explaining why the games parallel the fnaf4 minigames
Also i like how you incidentally proposed the idea that dave is possessing mike before considering shattervictim lol
Some other people have mentioned it, but i like that the idea of The Crying Child haunting the building.
Some say that fredbear's family diner and the FNAF 1 location are one and the same. Which would explain some things.
5:07 not a vape just a huge waste of money.
I was thinking the same thing
yet another youtuber peddling a sponsor scam
A medical hazard too
Vapes are also a huge waste of money
"None toxic" isnt true
It using essential oils witch aren't ment to be digested and so they aren't tested if they are toxic and probably are especially to breath
This child can't get a break
I mean technically he did now he has to be put back together
Yk what’s crazy to think about- since the CC had his head bitten it’s safe to say he sustained brain damage so it likely altered his personality- as in real life, it CAN CAUSE drastic changes
15:38 aw c'mon, Rye... did u really have to say the bullying comes to a HEAD?! 😅
my immediate reaction to seeing this on my homepage was "HE JUST LIKE ME FR !!!! 🗣🗣🔥"
This would explain why all the animatronics say "it's me" 😶
shattervictim could also be an explanation for the candy cadet stories where objects are fused together
Don't know how I feel about the füm. I believe you can pick up a habit that you never had to begin with. All feels a bit icky to me
Hey Rye,
Love the theory and hearing your perspective on the crying child.
I do want to mention idk about anyone else but the bubble pop noises whenever a picture pops up get kind of disruptive for me and start to bug a bit. Just thought I would mention it, idk maybe I'm the only one.
Is it just me or does Vengful spirit look like Dave?
15:19 what happened is he was put through the equivalent to the real life 'Calm' experiment done by Marilyn Schiltz. Where she took subjects who were more susceptible to feeling loneliness and anxiety, and put them alone and added stressors, until they were stressed to their peak and then calmed them, much like the fred bear plush, to see if the energy of them being calmed could be measured.
I suddenly now feel that ShatterVictim could be possible...
If it's with his plushies.
To elaborate, the "I will put you back together" line may not make much sense for it to be William speaking in person due to the line "We're still your friends" (Will may be an A+ in theatrics, but did he care enough to talk about this "mission of his that's about helping his son"?)
So I can see that Mike brought all of Dave's plushies to the hospital (maybe all of that agony even causing the nightmare nights but that's the idea with least thoughts put into it) and that's why they're there with him in his last moments.
Why Dave's idea turned spectral of Fredbear talked to him.
... Granted, I can see this not working, like maybe the OG idea of the box being the plushies being put there after Mike takes them back after it was MAYBE decided to mercifully disconnect his life support, making it make less sense as to how it got to the animatronics or at the very least the restaurants themselves, or how maybe the actually Psychic Friend Fredbear could have gotten to the yellow bear suit itself and that's related as to why the Puppet seemingly had nothing to do with it being possessed because that one sounds like a big "how?"
And somehow related, but now I'm thinking that Happiest Day didn't have the intention of helping the MCI to move on, but rather to find them so they could help Dave to move on, wearing the tainted is brain blood masks of his friends.
What reminded him of his friends are now wishing him a happy birthday rather than bullying him.
(Timeline shenanigans currently feel dizzy with this interpretation like fucking FNaF World during FNaF3 but afterwards is FNaF World Update 2 and then SL but eh...)
Bro I misheard "attached himself to William Afton" as "touches himself to William Afton"💀
Is it possible that that moment tells us that it's the same building?
something something candy cadet 5 into one stories.
I actually like the idea of this theory. It really adds up when you look at all the evidence together like this.

As a beleiver that dave was the first to die in the timeline, im just confused about what he could have seen that terrified him
Really just a complete shot in the dark, but another way that CC could be haunting the restaurant (most likely the FNAF1 location) is if it was once that very same Fredbear's location; the one where CC died in.
Isn’t that literally the controls we use to move the character on screen
@@Galaxaidy well i was joking
I feel like it makes sense. Why else would they need to "put him back together?" I feel like that's really deliberate phrasing and means that he had to have been broken apart first.
You should watch @Candi Buunny s video “where the heck is golden Freddy in fnaf 3” !! it shares a lot of the same evidence as this theory but goes somewhere completely different with it and I really wanna see your opinion on it!!

I hate is becomming trend to do it, the dave theory is kinda unlikely, but for some reason everyone accept it
Man this channel it really good ! Do you plan on deep diving other games/ arg's?
8:03 it's not that his memories are 'gone', more that he's one specific memory, one of darkness and confusion as he passed from the bite. He is an energy created by the human consciousness from a specific moment. That moment is what charges the energy. This is what Talbert meant when he said remnant is mixing memory with metal.
We also see the spirit+memory combo in the ITP game when the Yellow Rabbit sees the photo of William and Henry.
i like this theory! it actually ties up something that always sort of confused me: why is the crying child (Dave, i still can't believe he has a name now) so important? in other words that feel silly to use now, why is he so special? like i always sort of wondered what was different about him vs the rest of the children that were also killed in a Freddy's, in that Charlotte/Puppet could guide them and their souls to move on relatively simply, while cc/Dave needed all the intricacies of happiest day/FNAF World. maybe this is what made him different and something requiring focus on. i always kinda just figured he was just "special" through his relationship to Afton, and thus to the audience and story of fnaf as a whole, which felt a little cheap to me from a narrative perspective, so this is actually pretty neat to have a proper potential answer to those thoughts!
I like this cause it could explain why all the Freddy's animatronics at some point say "it's me" it's dave fragmented.
I've always thought Dave was associated with FNAF world and FNAF 3 in some way, but I never really dug into it, so I'm glad this vid was made! :>

CHÜM is FÜM
I wonder if the something bad that always gets left behind is the agony from the crying child and the what is good is the remnant
I wonder if that same idea is how we can hear an impossible recording of the springlock failure on afton in into the pit, which shouldn't be possible but we can hear his death. That could be a similar thing to hearing the bite victim here
16:06
Was that an actual teaser?
The puppet is cassidy
7:39 this has been planned since the beginning. Cawthon has woven a very intricate and precise quantum wave function and it's natural properties into FNAF.
12:37- Memories are emotional energy. Charlie, Marla, and Taggart were right, there are not ghosts in FNAF. These electrical charges that contain their consciousness' memory cant move on when theyre shattered, because their charge is still going to exist elsewhere.
I'm loving Aquatic Mine as background music! Let's take a dive into this overly complex theory🎶
Best RyeToast line “Is that a hole? Well it’s something to explore.”
I have a theory about FNAF 4, I believe the final cutscene is the Crying Child's perception of what he saw in the bite, being the masked kids and Fredbear, and all the stuff he's heard in said cutscene is what people were physically saying in that moment
Weekend and a new theory
God i love this guy
Hear me out:
William was already creating another animatronic set for another restaurant.
TELL UR CATS I SAY PSPSPSPS
They will be told
Dave unknowingly created Horcruxes.
