My jaw fell open the first time I saw this video (I can't pat my head and rub my belly at the same time). They have performed this live on TV and in concert now with bass Matt Sallee and it's still stunning. Thanks!
Oh holy nite, hallelujah ,msry did you know, sound of silence , bohemian rhapsody, kiss from a rose, kevins 5th, the prayer, amazing grace, daft punk, the evelution of micheal Jackson All are fabulous from pentatonix
This performance is so special specifically because of the intricate hand centric percussive background combined with a very simple melody. So easy to watch and listen to.
Yes, you pronounced Hymnal correctly! La La Latch is a favorite oldie of mine. I love how they do Blinding Lights (less oldie). R U in Chicago? If so, me too!
Many a school choir and also many talent show performances are out there on YT that stem from PTX's cover and from their choreography instruction video! So fun!
That is some crazy shit. Beautiful harmonies then they throw in the percussive stuff. Again, seeing music I wouldn’t have through the reaction community. Cheers, my guy.🫶🫶
Thanks for the great reaction to this early Pentatonix video. I had not heard of Fleet Foxes either before Pentatonix covered their song. Pentatonix performed this live during 2023 concerts. I'm not coordinated enough to do those moves. lol.
All I want for Christmas is…. More Pentatonix!!! 🎄🤩 1. Mary Did You Know 2. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (Grammy #2!) 3. Pure Imagination / Christmas Time is Here (Live/Vevo) Happy holidays Cliff. God bless!! 🫶🏼😊
I love these guys. I also have a couple of their songs on my playlist, Mary did you know and Halleluya both very awesome songs, Mary did you know is done in a cave I highly recommend!!!!
Subbed for PTX! They did a version of Creep with instruments on the masked singer that you might like- look for the unmasked performance- it’s the best one! Or you can watch the “every PTX performance on the masked singer” - they did some very fun arranging of popular songs on that show
God I love Pentatonix! I recommend basically any of their songs/videos, even though I strongly prefer the ones when Avi was with them (the bass) 😍 Mitch and Scott has had their own videos under the name Superfruit and they've done a couple Hip Hop goes Broadway that I think you could really like 😂
Cliff, if you're impressed with the coordinated hand actions you REALLY need to checkout some the crazy videos from "Walk off the Earth". They've done some cover videos that are guaranteed to impress you. I promise.
They do a great job. Although if you know the meaning of the lyrics, it's extremely disturbing and very graphic. They do a good job hiding that detail.
It's definitely weird and macabre. I'm surprised they used it as a Christmas song, but it's one of those that has the word "snow" in it, so I guess it qualifies...lol!

i love the video for Sing & the kids performing this choreography.
I love how Kevin is smiling away. It’s probably so easy for him considering how freakishly talented he is.
I never noticed Kevin’s smile because I was so mesmerized by the coordination that I could never emulate.

We diffently need more music like this.

Yes...La La Latch is an awesome melding of two songs.
Those are both awesome songs!

i read that Kirstin thought up the patting movements. Thanks for the reaction
They’re just extraordinary. What a nice way to end the day.

I love this. They are exceptional aren't they. I am a absolute Pentaholic. Greetings from South Africa
Love your reaction. They perform this live ( Matt is excellent doing this) They also have tutorials so choirs can duplicate the moves.
They perform this live too. It's pretty fun to see.
Pentatonix is amazing. And this isn't even one of their better songs. They hit so much harder on other tracks.
Love this video! Fun reaction!
I saw them do this live at their Concert in September, it was awesome.

The camera work is amazing in this video. Everytime they sing the song “Hallelujah” I cry. Please react to that one if you haven’t already ❤love ya
Yes, it is amazing. I have seen them do this live in concert. There are tutorial videos for those wanting to learn the choreography.
I love PTX they are wonderful. My favorite is Bohemian Rhapsody.
Saw them live in Omaha for their holiday tour, it was just amazing

Cliff you need to do the video that really propelled them cause it went super viral and that’s the evolution of music video
Fleet Foxes... White Winter Hymnal. The original is great as are Fleet Foxes in general.
❤❤❤❤❤

I love WOTE! They're incredible!

I'd call that compartmentalization, if I could say it
Have you made the beatbox channel cliff?

Did you listen to the lyrics?
They do a great job. Although if you know the meaning of the lyrics, it's extremely disturbing and very graphic. They do a good job hiding that detail.
Focus on the words. It's a really dark song
It's definitely weird and macabre. I'm surprised they used it as a Christmas song, but it's one of those that has the word "snow" in it, so I guess it qualifies...lol!
@@Gwennedd yeah, Scott did say that in an interview. The original song is not as bright and upbeat.
The words are very disturbing….
