This performance is so special specifically because of the intricate hand centric percussive background combined with a very simple melody. So easy to watch and listen to.

Thanks for the great reaction to this early Pentatonix video. I had not heard of Fleet Foxes either before Pentatonix covered their song. Pentatonix performed this live during 2023 concerts. I'm not coordinated enough to do those moves. lol.

They do a great job. Although if you know the meaning of the lyrics, it's extremely disturbing and very graphic. They do a good job hiding that detail.
Focus on the words. It's a really dark song
It's definitely weird and macabre. I'm surprised they used it as a Christmas song, but it's one of those that has the word "snow" in it, so I guess it qualifies...lol!
