I 100% agree with that. In public matches it makes it pretty much impossible to pack.

Exactly why they put the key in, it's designed to be a risk to pack a punch but the key is the safety net
I have this thing called a dumpster and I'm not sure if you heard if it but what I do is every time it leaves and takes my gun, I just throw my console, tv, controller, and life in it
But that's still annoying because you have to keep an item just to remove risk

Buried had good promise, but is SO ridiculously easy that it is really stupid. I am not a fan. I am bad at zombies, but I can make it to a high round on Buried.

Moon could have been an honorable mention. Similar to Shangri La, you have to get everyone to come with you. Last time I had the misfortune of playing Moon two of the players in my lobby were French who spoke no English and I speak no French. Needless to say I didn't PaP that game...
And I don't know what it is with the plane in MotD but I can never seem to get on it! I'm sat there pressing the right button, nothing happens. When I finally find the sweet spot everyone takes off without me :S Anyone else had this happen?

With the Buried PaP and going through the Witches' House, it is actually really easy to avoid them as long as you know how they spawn in and where they will spawn.
I love that small challenge heading to pap I tell people grab a good gun especially the mk II or be prepared 😂 I can't stress that enough

i think the randomness is good, what fun is it if you plan the whole game and beat it? That factors let you make decisions in that moment. And I think pap should be hard to get imo.
The Pack a Punch machine in green run city on bo2 was pretty annoying considering it was in the middle of the lava puddle

I can’t even begin to count the amount of times i’ve either downed while paping or lost my gun to the pap machine on Town
Tranzit PaP isn't so bad with friends, one person just stays behind in the power plant and does the turbine part while the other stays on the bus and goes into the basement. Since it won't close while someone is down there, the power plant person just sprints to town.

I like the transit process, cause it gives u a challenge, if they just give u a pack a punch right in front of u and u camp right there for the first 5 rounds, u have mustang and Sally
you can create a portal that will move u in the middle of the cloud dust thing,then u run to the power station,which isn't far because u telaported,i usally have the power on and pack u punch ready on round 7 or 8

What makes a good PAP spot is not only is it easy to understand, it has to be rewarding. MoTD comes to mind
i used to have a strat for tranzit where i would leave the turbine on the bus after getting upgrade hop off at diner build shield, hit box till it moves wait for the bus then use the turbine on the bus to get the rest of the upgrades open up pap and keep the shield

I think you forgot about orgins, the mount is the most common place to die by panzars and not to forget the fact that all the generators need to be active.
On tranzit I just don’t even worry about Pack a punch and the only times I use it is when other players have already gone through the long process and I just happen to be along for the ride

It probably wasn't on there because there aren't many bosses in the way, and unlike tranzit you have a training spot which is nice when trying to pack in the middle of a round

Back when town first came out I got frustrated cause I was too stupid to realize when you pack a punched you couldn't stand in the lava the whole time so I kept dying
Tranzit pack a punch isn't that bad if you know how to teleport and have points in the bank, it actually pretty straight forward.

Call of the Dead... It's the same thing as Die Rise; it's convenient in that it spawns when the power comes on, but it can be anywhere on the map (thankfully there's a beam of light, so you at least know where it is) but it's still unpredictable. Sometimes it can be behind a closed door. Sometimes it can be on the interior of the ship close to the Juggernog spot, which sucks so bad it ends up getting you killed. It's always in the icy water which is bad because you can freeze whilst the gun is in the machine, and the gun will disappear. Also, like in Die Rise... the machine will sometimes disappear with your gun still in it.
Not only do you have to do all those things to open up PaP
If you leave that area it closes back
And you have to build the PaP machine

What about Town and Origins? I'm not arguing about the rest but I think these two PAP locations suck

Buried shouldn't be on the list. I would honestly put MOTD instead of Buried. You have to build ALL the plane parts just to get to the pack a punch, the end of the map. And you have to rebuild it again if you want to pack a punch another weapon after you return back in your afterlife.

I think they're annoying. They even beat the glitched "moonwalk" Astronaut from Moon.
WindowsShadow1 but witches only appear only when you go in their house. They're so easy to beat, you just have to keep an eye on your back. Plus you always get a free perk every 5 rounds.
On the other hand, astronaut appears every single round even at the start of round 1 and he has ridiculous amount of health. He takes your perks, which is worse than having your points taken. Plus, he gives no good rewards, all he does is kill other zombies around him when he dies.

I played tranzit with my friend. I almost got my pack a punch raygun we both had rayguns. When my turbine goes away and the ray gun disappears. I was stuck with a pack a punched B23R and kept losing ammo like crazy!

well.....yesterday I made it to round 42 on tranzit :P and I think tranzit is an OK map. I was training on the dinner the entire game :) the guns I had were, RPD pack a punch, and raygun pack a punch. I also had gobbleknuckles, or how ever you spell it :)
I remember my best round in die rise got the sliquafyer and power go to the building room for the sliqaufyer and theres jug and pack
If you don't know how to time your pack-a-punch properly in Die Rise then you probably deserve to lose the gun. Just the simple truth.

If your asking, why i left out Shangri La, it´s just not bad or hard, it just depends on which people you are playing with, if you want to pack a punch then just play with friends or play alone.
Shadows of Evil is actually easy if you ask me, if you do it early. The rituals and extra margwas usually give me enough points to pack a punch at least one of my weapons if not both by the end of it all. And that room is great for surviving. Hate training because you can't get a good flow thanks to the gaps, but if you need to just run circles and survive, that entire pack a punch scheme is bomb af.

yea after you played SoE for a while it actually gets really easy but just the fact that it takes always around 20 min just to even be able to play the map is just really annoying, maybe it´s not hard, just annoying:/ the first 5 times it was cool but sometimes when i´m thinking about playing SoE i'm just like naah don't want to do this again just to play the map properly so i'm often just going with the Giant

In tranzit you can take the teleporters but even then there’s rng and the teleporters take you to random teleporter lamps

the elevators doors start closing a little bit when it's about to leave so the die rise problem isn't that bad and i have never had a problem with the buried one either because i'm just smart enough to not pack-a-punch in the middle of a round.

On nuketown there is that sign with numbers so It thats how many zombies u have to kill for the next perk
And whats more with transit is you have to FREAKING BUILD THE PACK-A-PUNCH MACHINE. And even more than that, the PAP is in a slim hallway that you can easily down in, and then you cant get back out because you're walking in a two foot wide hallway.
TranZit is the worst but it wasn't as bad as you made it sound.

I got an strategy for Kino der toten (sorry if I spelled it wrong) when the match starts first 1. shoot a zombie a couple times(not enough to kill it) then knife it. 2) do this till round 5 (don't push your luck and stay any longer) WITHOUT buying any wall weapons(if solo buy quick revive) 3) once you do one and two buy the door out of the spawn room and buy a couple more doors then buy an mp-40 (if enough by the first door to the dressing room) 4)it should be a dog round. 5) buy jog when you can and survive then pack a punch. (have fun)
