In my opinion tombstone is good for newer players. They go down a lot and lose everything very often, so it helps to not lose your stuff. And if you are good, you should be able to fight off the zombies on your own. The only bad things I see about tombstone is that you have to re-buy it after you use it and it pretty much nullifies quick revive.

I agree. I don't think Tombstone should be #1 on this list. I think Smith purposely put it at #1 just so he could make Tranzit be at #1. It's great in Town but sucks in Tranzit, especially if you get spawned far away from your graveyard. Who's Who should've been #1, since it's too difficult to revive yourself against a swarm of zombies. Only world record players use that perk.

Liam Williams You can also use it for the tombstone glitch. It's get tombstone and 3 other perks. Go down and "feed the zombies" Then you get up next round, buy tombstone and and the other perks you didnt have, then go back to your tombstone and youll have all perks, and if you die, just go buy tombstone go over your thing and you get everything back
OG double tap is like 50% of double tap 2.0 2.0 increases your fire rate and doubles bullets but og double tap does half of that.

It seems to me that Tombstone and Who's Who were just invented to solve the flaws of the maps. If your teammate goes down at the diner on Tranzit and you're at the power station they're screwed because you're never going to make it over to them to revive them in time. If your teammate goes down on Die Rise and you have to wait for the elevator to get to them they're screwed as well.
Those two perks are just two different ways of solving the same problem, that being, the lack of revives. (Mob of the Dead scrapped the perks altogether and made the solution part of the gameplay instead).
Why they chucked Tombstone on Town baffles me. It's such a smaller map it's much easier to get revived on. But if the best thing people can say about it is that it's good for a glitch, that's surely more of an argument against it rather than in its favour. That's my view anyway aha

TheYahwehWizard | Zombie Gaming I wouldn't go as far as cheating as to the tombstone glitch or to even call it a glitch. Tombstone is a perk where you obtain your stuff from your previous life. This can be a helpful strategy when you can't decide a perk that to need/want but you only have one slot left. Once you do go down and don't feed yourself to the zombies, not saying that it can't be a dick move sometimes, once you comeback though. You are even more set to not go down and even in some cases support your team a lot better, or revive them (considering no one gets quick revive over double tap or speed cola) As to saying it's a glitch. I got to say it's not, for the sole two reasons is that one they are not "cheating the system" it's more of an ingenious move and using the perk to a greater potential. Now say that you consider this to still be a glitch. If Treyarch thought that this was a serious threat to the game-play that they envisioned then considering that it was the first map to come out in zombies they most likely would have patched it. In the end I though Patrick was fair with how the placement of these perks went.

The problem with it is that sometimes you'll want to switch to a ray gun and then pull out a kar98k or simply just a weapon with no ammo, and the perk can really screw you over. If they made it so that one of the d pad buttons activated the 3rd weapon, that would make the perk flawless

WTF?! Tombstone is an amazing perk. Not ONLY can you get all your guns and PERKS that you previously had but you can also use it to obtain every single perk on whatever map it's on. In my eyes, it's over powered and it's my favorite perk.

I've had it. If you want a third gun you usually want it for its own purpose. And when you have to switch to it you have to switch through a different gun also, since there is no quick select. This process usually gets me killed. I don't know about you.

The thing with deadshot is that it doesn't provide an ability the player can't use without. I can just aim for the head to create the effect. Perks such as electric cherry, mule kick, double tap 2, etc. is that you can't achieve the same benefit w/o buying the perk. I don't know why I comment this late though, just decided while rewatching these top 5 and 10s.
If you don't like Tombstone, then don't fucking get it. It's that simple. If you want to get it, then go on Town for the six perk glitch with randoms or your friends. In my opinion, I think Who's Who should be number 1 on this list. Not Tombstone.

Qnd i have watched videos of people showing that panzers take the same damage in head as in body. Il give it to you, that most weapons damage the panzer in the head than in the body OK. But the other half of weapons in origins dont damage the panzer in head

I don't like tombstone and I never use it, but it's sort of helpful whenever I play with my brother (who is no where near as good as me) since he gets down a lot I'm not always able to get him up in time
Tombstone is actually better than Double Tap 1.0 and Who's Who. It allowed you to glitch the game and get all the perks, plus it was very helpful in co-op Tranzit when you went down and your teammate was across the map and couldn't reach you. It made Tranzit a little less awful (by like 0.1%), and I would have wanted it in Die Rise.
The real problem was u could only glitch it on town and it got boring an easy. And on tranzit u had the chance of not even spawning by it or being half way across the map and it would disappear.

Also, I just noticed something. Each BO2 map has an original perk that you can't get on other maps (except Nuketown and the variants of Green Run).
Tranzit (and Town) had Tombstone.
Die Rise had Who's Who.
Mob of the Dead had Electric Cherry (which I know is possible to get in other maps, but you can never get it straight from a perk machine).
Buried had Vulture Aid.
Origins didn't have its own perk, but it's the only BO2 map that features Wonderfizz Machines.
Weird to think that strange perks like Who's Who and Tombstone exists, even though they're crap perks on shit maps we never play.

I found tombstone to be great, kept the perks we paid for, communication was the key with it, if other players could survive the round then we'd place the stone early in the rounds we would get revived

Double tap 1 is still actually very good, you can still control how much ammo you use.
Mule kick serves a huge purpose on der eisendrach due for running low on ammo having a 3rd gun is huge on high rounds

The Penguin Ehh I just never find much use of it because there are always way better perks to get in origins like stamin-up, double tap, and speed cola, and in mob of the dead I usually get it but I feel that deadshot is still more useful.

Tombstone should've been more of just a "perk stronghold" situation where, rather than encouraging you to die and get your stuff back after respawning, it should've just allowed you to keep all your perks minus Tombstone when you got downed and revived. But if no one gets to you in time whilst down and you die, THEN the Tombstone pickup should spawn for you.

If your on multiplayer its your solo quick revive
Instead of having you cycle through weapons with mule kick they should just make you hold down Y to get to your third weapon.
Or just press Triangle or Y 1 more time.

Tombstone is a lot better on town survival because you can get three perks, grab tombstone, wait till dogs with a friend, down yourself, hold square, get revived at round's end, grab it again, get the perks you couldn't get earlier, grab your stone, and you'll have all perks and be able to handle yourself if you go down. BUT, that goes back to what you said about Mule Kick. Really expensive, sounds cool early on, but not really necessary when you can get it, although being able to sufficiently fend yourself if you bleed out and come back is nice.

Mule kick is helpful on Origins if you have a good gun and a wonder weapon for doing the tombstone step for the Ice Staff upgrade
I was playing town a few days ago. All my teamates got Tombstone but me, im guessing they where new. So they go down allmost every 3 rounds, all 4 of them. So im left by myself for most of it. What was funny was i had Pack-A-Punched Ballistic Knife, cause i saw tyey where dieing alot. So i died, and the game ended. They screamed at me. My counter argument was "i had pcked Ballistic knife. i told you to not get tombstone, but you still poped it."

Tombstone is a good perk, really helpful, but it's the players that are stupid enough to leave their team alone just to get more perks that are the problem. Whenever I play, I make sure that there is only 1 or 2 zombies left so that nobody has to battle a giant mass of flesh-eating beasts.

Double tap so does not waste ammo, when he was showing Galil gameplay on round 9, he was shooting like 10 bullets on each zombie, it should only take 5-6 and 2-3 in the head. It doesn't waste ammo, smith is just bad at conserving it.
I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I somewhat like Tombstone, when you go down you can get all your perks back unlike Quick Revive. If you die stupidly you get all your stuff back. It's definitely bad in Tranzit, but I think its good on Town.

Honestly I didn’t even notice the double tap perk shooting two bullets with one trigger pull. I tried it and I still can shoot a single bullet.
Mule kick is pretty usable on some maps in bo1 to have two wonder weapons or upgraded crossbow and for third weapon some point gun you don't mind losing if you go down

It is not a bad perk in solo, maybe in co op , but in solo if you have both quick revive and who who's and go down all u have to do is hord , train the zombies until who who runs out and u will spawn with everything only losing who's who and quick revive.And trust me who's who +quick revive is better than an afterlife and quick revive!!!!!!!
Mule Kick is amazing on maps where wonder weapons take up gun slot and have low ammo caps.
Also in bo2 and bo3 there's never a situation where a 3rd weapon is needed unless .. maybe you're playing tranzit but mule kick isn't even on that map. The one map it's be useful on

My biggest problem with mule kick is dying and losing my gun. Maps like buried i need the paralyzer to get me through the map, i need the mark 2 for emergencies and the main point maker or machine gun like the hamr. And usually i get the hamr in the beginning for points making the mark 2 or paralyzer the gun i lose if i go down

5) Who's Who -
I am fully aware that Who's Who is awful, but I put it at 5 for two reasons. 1, I didn't even buy the Die Rise DLC, so I never use it, and 2, it is by far the coolest looking perk machine in the series. For those reasons, I don't have too much of a grudge on the perk, as bad as it may be.
4) Quick Revive Soda -
Okay, before you all give me weird looks and tell me I'm a crazy person, let me explain myself. Quick Revive isn't that bad of a perk. In solo, you can get 3 extra lives, sounds great, right? Well, I rarely use Quick Revive on solo. it seems that, when I get this perk, I am a lot less focused and a lot more confident knowing that I have more than one chance. Unfortunately, you can't get too confident in zombies, lest you make a stupid decision and end up getting trapped or something like that. That always seems to happen to me. As a trailing note, I find that if the mechanics of the SOLO Revive were carried on to multiplayer instead of Quick Revive's multiplayer counterpart, it would be even better in multiplayer, as your teammates wouldn't have to risk their lives trying to save you.
3) Double Tap Root Beer 1.0 -
Now we're getting into the truly bad perks. Like TheSmithSaid, Double Tap 1.0 sounds like it would help you out, until it screws you over, leaving you out of ammo in a matter of 14.62 seconds. Double Tap 1.0 is bad, moving on.
2) Tombstone Soda -
I was thinking about putting Tombstone at the number 1 spot, as it's absolutely awful, it just screws the rest of your team over so that you can get your stuff back, whoopity friggen doo. Not only does this perk do the same thing that I talked about with Quick Revive with making you too confident, it harms your team. But, Tombstone gets number 2 because of the glitch you can do on Town. My friends and I have had too much fun setting up with all the perks and getting Ray Gun Mk. II's and hitting the high rounds with this glitch, but other than that, Tombstone Soda is complete and utter trash.
1) Deadshot Daiquiri -
This number one spot is completely my opinion. If we were talking statistics-wise, Tombstone Soda or Who's Who would make this spot. Here's why I don't like Deadshot:
I've been playing zombies for a few years now, and I think I've gotten Deadshot in my entire zombies career maybe twice, once being on Mob of the Dead because it was round 35 and I had nothing else to spend my money on, so I thought "Why not?" and the other time on a custom zombies map because in that specific map, Deadshot gives you a laser sight. First of all, I hate the aim assist. If the point of zombies is to survive and get as many points as possible, than why is there a perk that pretty much decreases the amount of points received from killing an enemy? Sure, Deadshot has some other bonuses, but they're things that you can accomplish without even having to get the perk. Sniper rifle swaying too much. *Hold down left stick*. Oh, that's better! And Deadshot doesn't even completely eliminate rifle sway anyway, so holding your breath is a hundred times better. Oh, Deadshot decreases recoil? Well, lemme explain why this isn't needed either. Unless you're completely stupid, you wouldn't get this perk until the later rounds, say, 15 and up, because on the early rounds you need points and Deadshot doesn't do that for ya, too bad. But if you're past round 15 and you have, say, an MTAR or something with tons of recoil, by that time you would have Pack-a-Punched it. You wanna know what Pack-a-Punch does? Among other things like increasing damage, clip size and reserve ammo, it DECREASES RECOIL.
In my opinion, Deadshot Daiquiri is as useless as boobs on a bull.
So there's my top 5 perks list. It was kind of a mouthful, but oh well. Have a good day.
+DawnfangOVERTIME Tombstone doesn't screw your team over. If anything you being downed without tombstone screws your team over. Because having to go get you, and possibly risking myself going downed to pick someone up that has to travel on tranzit to get all their perks back is annoying. And actually it's kind of a good thing if your teammates uses tombstone. Not only does tombstone prevent rage quitting because they get their stuff back. But it also makes the rounds go by a lot shorter because the zombies would be chasing less people, and so therefore more of the zombies would be chasing you. And also on town, it makes it easier to train with less people, because you won't be getting in other people's way.
Kryptonite Pubstomping Yes, but if you're playing with four players, and all three teammates go down and activate tombstone, you're stuck to face the rest of the zombies on four player difficulty, even if you could have revived at least one of your teammates without risking your own life. I find that whenever I play with four people and they buy tombstone on Town, go down at round 15 or whatever cause they're bad at zombies, I A) die, cause I can't take on that many zombies or B) struggle a lot, but manage to kill them. A) seems to be a common theme for me when this whole Tombstone thing happens.

Well yeah, half the people who get Tombstone generally suck. But I don't leave games typically. That's even worse of a move than killing yourself with Tombstone.
DawnfangOVERTIME "That's worse than a move than Tombstone." No it isn't. You keep looking at the most basic idea of it, and not looking at it from the standpoint of a good player. If I saw 3 bone rank's in my lobby for Tranzit, I would back out of the lobby. It's a waste of time to try to play TranZit with noobs, because even if I carry them to a high round, a majority will back out after the 1 hour mark, and definitely all of them by the 2 hour mark. Backing out is no where near worse, because you aren't wasting your time. If I saw my 3 teammates get downed on round 15 and all used tombstone, I would back out. Because I know that game will be a waste of time. Now, it's different on town. Because reviving teammates is a lot easier. But again if I saw in the pre-game lobby that 3 noobs were playing town. I would get excited, because more revives for me. And it doesn't happen too often for when I played town that someone buys tombstone before round 20, and get's downed before round 20. People always think that teamwork matters in zombies, when in reality it only matters, when everyone knows what their doing, and all people have mic's. That's pretty much the only time teamwork come's into play. The only 2 time's that I can think about, are catwalk on der riese and nacht der untoten camping. The only 2 times, where people didn't have to have mic's and not have to be even good at zombies.
Mule kick is amazing in origins because just get a staff as you're third weapon
I know this was made before bo3 came out but at lest for Der Rise in bo1, kino, and all bo3 maps, mule kick is the best perk for high rounds behind jugg and widows.
tombstone is good when nobody can come to revive you. For example on origins or transhit, you and the other player(s) are on oposite sides of the map and they can't get you, that's when tombstone is good (but other than that it's kinda shit, but who's who is worse)
Problem is you spawn where everyone else is, which is likely nowhere near your tombstone pack
But if you're playing with friends they can coordinate that and also zombies don't spawn for a few seconds so that gives you a chance to run for it. Who's who is definitely the worst
On Town, that isn't a problem since Town is small. Plus, it's great on that map for getting all six perks.

Origins doesn't even have tombstone and when your team isn't where your tombstone is, you tombstone will disappear because you'll spawn with your team and there across the map

that awkward moment when you like Who's Who, and Tombstone. For me I like who's who because it's perk-a-cola jingle is one of my favorites (yes I admit who's who isn't a good perk), and tombstone cause of the glitch.
I honestly really like Who's Who, I just wish it was on more maps. It has a high skill cap, but you can use it instead of quick revive if you want to keep your perks from the start, or you can use it infinitely after you've run out of quick revives. I think it's only really hard to use because it forces you to play Die Rise on a high round with no perks. On other maps it wouldn't be as much of a challenge.

I have a few comments...
Dead shot is the least useful to start with, my head shots are always above 50-60% unless Ray gun. Who's who I can see too, but tombstone isn't all bad, what if you're busy during the game (ideally wouldn't want to). It's a good way to "save" the game. And double tap I i always saw as a mini pap, (kills faster) doesn't waste ammo (unless you don't even try to shoot the zombies)
Also, if you remember which gun was your third (ideally a wall weapon for points) and organize your layout, it's actually quite beneficial
Jordan LaPrath double tap its like a mini pap in black ops 2 , it gives you a higher fire rate and more damage , in waw and black ops 1 just gives you a higher fire rate but you do the same damage , so you do waste you points and ammo buying double tap 1 but the black ops 2 double tap its a really good perk

Jordan LaPrath mule kick isn't that bad, just over priced, and like Patrick said if you go down you lose a gun. on black ops, I would get something like the SPAZ-24, crossbow or thundergun, and get the m16 for points. like I did on a game I played the other day. SPAZ-24, Awful Lawton, Skullcrusher, that was my load out and got to round 25. this was on kino.
Well with mule kick you can always use a wall gun so you don't have to worry about losing a wonder weapon when u go down
I'm assuming pat has never played shadows on solo with an apothican to put mule kick here
On mule kick I don't like it because if u get the ray gun Mark 2 or any good wonder weapon then I go down and lose that weapon. And honestly I think stamina up is pointless on every map but origins because of the mud
