At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *hotdups* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.
Absolutely loved your insights on each bag’s practicality! 💼✨ Thank you for helping us avoid some regrettable choices. Also enjoyed the jewelry recommendation at the start! Looking forward to more helpful content-keep up the great work! 👍
So many people are saying luxury is dead. I’m honestly starting to believe it is. I’ve noticed on Fashionphile that they’re not off loading Chanel bags like they were a year ago. There’s a few pieces that I keep an eye on. The bags that were selling for 7-8k last year aren’t even selling now at 6-7k with 20% off AND an additional 10% when they run their sales which I also noticed has become increasingly frequent. 🤔 Also seeing people comparing LV to MK, Coach, etc now… sigh
@bnb0510 I have purchased numerous bags from fashionphile, and I've noticed that in addition to your content, fashionphile prices have SKYROCKETED. To say they're a re-seller/ consignment site, their prices are getting ridiculous! I'm happy i "think" I'm done with my luxury handbag purchases 😢
LOL this made me laugh because just last night i was staring at a bag online that i bought and returned. i just love it, but it wasnt right for me. i keep thinking maybe i just didnt give it enough of a chance. 😂😂 ugh!! the struggle is real!
I am highly attracted to small crossbody bags that look amazing on other people but not me because I carry too much stuff and I’m tall plus size girly. I also bought a large beautiful wicker top handle tote. It is sooo heavy and I couldn’t deal with it. I totally understand being drawn to styles because they are pretty but we live and learn. Thanks for sharing, Amelia Rose. Your videos always make me smile.
I have to say, I understand why people say they don't care about people buying fakes or counterfeit goods, or why people should care. However, people don't necessarily "care" about people who own fake goods. Smart people will buy bags at luxrul . In fact, people who have money to buy luxury goods and invest in them do so for a reason.
I always enjoy your commentary “who do you think you are Amelia” 😂😂 this is how I talk to myself when I’m going for something that I know won’t suit me.
I think we can learn some things like if a micro bag doesn’t work for oneself or cross body bags or hand held bags etc .. but yeah the trend that gets us so excited will frequently be something we don’t love Some 3 years later .. BUT trends are so fun while they last!
I love the Lady Dior! But I feel the same that the mini is better for me. I got the Small one first, but ended up selling it, because I did not like the height of the bag :D Now I am happy with my Mini in black and silver hardware. Great video Amelia :3
You totally need an end of year blooper video that compiles every time luxury gets dropped. 😂 Random question: What are your thoughts on Vivienne Westwood bags? I am not the hugest fan of her logo but I love how edgy some of her bags are.
The Louis Vuitton métis I always find myself holding the bottom of it when I’m wearing it and although I love it because it’s black with pink polkadots, it just sits there in the closet
Dior D-Joy for me. Bought a small with the dragonfly charm amd studs. It's a stunning little thing, but it's more of an ornament than a bag. The leather scratches far too easily, that I daren't use it. The flap is annoying, and the bag doesn't fit enough in. I have it on display, it's so pretty to look at. I can't say much more about it really
Agree with most of your will never buy again choices. Felt the same about the camera bag and the way it fits and the way the straps look and make the bag sag through the grommets. Until! I got the very mini tassel camera bag and I absolutely love it. Ditto on the black bucket you had. It’s called the rolled up I think. Sold it missed it immediately. Found it in beige Claire and absolutely thrilled with it. Maybe it was the color? Also agree with you on the jumbo. I just sold mine. It’s too big for my frame.
Congratulations on your sponsorship Amelia. The pieces are beautiful. This is a very interesting video topic. I have a few bags that I can think of that I wouldn’t purchase again.
I will not buy a bag (again) that doesn't fit my phone. I am a clutz, and I cannot be carrying my phone in my hand while walking. The other thing I have learned is that as much as I love the looks of tote bags, I much prefer a crossbody because I do a lot of walking in my daily life.
Totally agree on the Chanel Boy bag. Too heavy, to difficult to get in and out of with one hand (this is always my test for bags, can I easily access what I need with one hand while wearing crossbody), and too boxy. Right now I have a BIG BIG regret buy in terms of functionality. The LV Speedy 20 Trunk. Its so fun and I love the look of it, but practically speaking its way to heavy, bulky and really challenging to open (cannot do it one-handed) because the magnet that holds it closed is so strong and it has clasps on on the side. I am also smaller stature lady and wearing it cross body is not an option...it sticks out funny, and frankly the strap it came with is cheap looking . I wish I would have waited and bought the Camera Bag Trunk :(
I forgot you had some of these ! I love the pink Chanel bag you sold to Merideth. I don't think I'll buy another LV NF. I have 2 in emperiente monogram leather
For me, I’d have to say - Chanel PST. My one just sits in my cupboard and gets passed on by all of my cross body bags. I’m a cross body girl at heart and there was a time where I thought I’d branch out and give shoulder bags a go. Needless to say - it didn’t work out 😅. Thank you for giving me food for thought on your reasonings, as some of those bags I have been eyeing up and those faults would probably do my head in too 😂❤
Yikes! I thought I was alone in this saga. I’ve had to learn really expensive life lessons when it comes to bags: I like what I like, and wear what I wear. And it sometimes is so limiting. I’m very picky, very specific- but I’ll go into the shops and fall in love. I purchased the Louis Vuitton Camera Valisette in monogram- only to admit honestly that I loved how it looked on the shelf as a display piece but hated trying to wear it out and about. For me, a bag either has to be a small top handle that can also be worn crossbody OR a shoulder bag that can also be converted into a clutch (Fendi Baguette, Bottega Lauren, etc). I can no longer buy crossbody bags (bags that can only be worn crossbody), clutches with no detachable straps (I won’t reach for them) or top handle only bags (like the Dior Book Tote or Birkins- any top handle that isn’t capable of also being crossbody). It feels limiting, but I appreciate my collection more that way (and am on restriction when it comes to seeing bags online- I have to go to the store and try it on to minimize buyer remorse). ❤
your nickname should be slippy fingers since you're always dropping something in your videos hahaha. The lady dior is on my wish list. i like the style, I have a Coach Rogue that is a similar style and it's the style i like. i like structured and boxy bags rather than slouchy ones. I also like the small Chanel flaps but the dior would def be a daily bag. they're just pricey even pre loved, but i love the ones that are monochromatic.
oh i do love the look of bucket bags but i hate that they don't close on top and you can spill things. i've never had a luxury one but the few i've had, everything fell out and it was annoying. I also love the look of the Boy bags but everyone i follow on youtube hates them for different reasons. they look nice but seem so problematic that I'll pass. The other bag I don't like that you didn't mention is the Speedy style bags, again I didn't have a luxury one but I had one for a long time and I got rid of it. I loved the color and how much it held but I didn't have an organizer for it and it was just everything thrown in and rolling around, i hated that. I also don't like how floppy they are. Maybe now that I know about organizers I could try one again and it would work better but I like the square shape of my Rogue. I'm a tallish woman so I can use larger bags and they don't look huge on me.
for me its the chanel gst, as beautiful as it looks I hate the middle divider never again will a buy a tote with a middle divider. I'm stunned by the 19, I love it but I agree its only to be worn casually. now the boy, in caviar ruthenium hardware was my 1st chanel bag I bought. i got it for my birthday and it is my most used, I love it. however there is something about it that as much as I love it, I cannot bring myself to buy it in another color. I love admiring them in the beautiful light pinks and greens but something in me, can't press buy or even add to cart lol. to which I then think do I really love it? lol. because I have the 19 in different colors and sizes, so what is it about the boy that I don't more of?
The first 4 and a half minutes is an ad basically. So almost 25% of the video. Seems excessive. I enjoy your topics and commentary, but that's a lot of time dedicated to selling stuff.
Feel free to skip past the sponsored segment if you aren’t interested, it takes that amount of time to properly show the item. Sponsorships allow me to continue to produce regular content and support my channel without me considering memberships or anything that actually costs my audience money.
Do you agree with me!?
This was fun Amelia! It is such a learning curve and we can really convince ourselves we are going to use that particular bag all the time!
So true!!
This luxury handbag obsession is an education all in itself! 🤣 Always be learning! 🙌🏻
So true!
At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *hotdups* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.
Hi! You're the best when it comes to handbags ❤
Thank you for another brilliant video, ma'am 💐
Thank you so much!
Such a great comparison! Everything is so cute! Especially the *hotdups* handbags. Their styles are so chic, stylish, elegant and understated!
Absolutely loved your insights on each bag’s practicality! 💼✨ Thank you for helping us avoid some regrettable choices. Also enjoyed the jewelry recommendation at the start! Looking forward to more helpful content-keep up the great work! 👍
You are so welcome!
The third bag - pink lady Dior - is adorable! ❤
She's a stunner!

It has certainly slowed down for sure
@bnb0510 I have purchased numerous bags from fashionphile, and I've noticed that in addition to your content, fashionphile prices have SKYROCKETED. To say they're a re-seller/ consignment site, their prices are getting ridiculous! I'm happy i "think" I'm done with my luxury handbag purchases 😢
I'm really surprised by the *hotdups* crossbody bag. Love it!
En el momento en que vi el bolso *hotdups* supe que tenía que tenerlo.
LOL this made me laugh because just last night i was staring at a bag online that i bought and returned. i just love it, but it wasnt right for me. i keep thinking maybe i just didnt give it enough of a chance. 😂😂 ugh!! the struggle is real!
It's not just me!!
Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl.
I live but i've still a lot of learning to do with bags! 🤣
Regardless of the look of the *hotdups* or the metal parts, I believe you'll never see any difference as long as you're not a practitioner
I have to say, I understand why people say they don't care about people buying fakes or counterfeit goods, or why people should care. Love that!
Amelia,
I Like bucket bag, also don’t love it enough 😂. The capucine mini one is enough- not a convenient bag. Great video ❤❤
Thank you!
You will never learn Amelia. Same old thing over and over again.
We get tired and fall out of love of them. Period
So very true

I love my mini!
You totally need an end of year blooper video that compiles every time luxury gets dropped. 😂
Random question: What are your thoughts on Vivienne Westwood bags? I am not the hugest fan of her logo but I love how edgy some of her bags are.
I'm not too familiar with her bags if i'm honest t
Great video 😃✨💛
Thank you!
the only bucket bag i've ever liked was the fendi origami. I don't know why i like it, but the mini size works for me.
Off to google!
The Louis Vuitton métis I always find myself holding the bottom of it when I’m wearing it and although I love it because it’s black with pink polkadots, it just sits there in the closet
I have some I just love the look of

Those are so beautiful though!

I think for me the bucket bag sat out too much, but it was stunning
Thank you so much for making me smile:)))
You're welcome!
Congratulations on your sponsorship Amelia. The pieces are beautiful. This is a very interesting video topic. I have a few bags that I can think of that I wouldn’t purchase again.
Thank you so much! You should do this video!

I need my phone to fit too
Curved zippers like the loop bag or any kind of bucket bag don't work for me either.
It drove me nuts!
totally understand - I thought I would love the 19 and the Gabrielle forever ...... no unfortunately 🤣
Same!!
Totally agree on the Chanel Boy bag. Oh i tried that in paris! It is a stunning piece but i can see the difficulties using it, and it was very heavy
I forgot you had some of these ! I love the pink Chanel bag you sold to Merideth. I don't think I'll buy another LV NF. I have 2 in emperiente monogram leather
I'd only buy another if something happened to the one i have
For me, I’d have to say - Chanel PST. My one just sits in my cupboard and gets passed on by all of my cross body bags.

I am mainly cross body too, just so easy to use
yup, going to wear that everyday! how many times have i told myself that😂
For me too often!!
Yikes! I thought I was alone in this saga. I’ve had to learn really expensive life lessons when it comes to bags: I like what I like, and wear what I wear. And it sometimes is so limiting. I think there definitely is a process in learning the bags that work for us
The Boy Bag was also my first chanel bag and I also sold it ...never again.
Never again!

We need to try them and they don’t alway work ❤

I love how much you love the 19, I’m suprised I let mine go too!
@@ameliarosescloset thank you, i love the cloudiness and slouch. also how it feels.
I keep telling myself no camera bags and no bucket bags. They just don’t match my style and activities.
Same
Anything north/south style.. I like them. Think they'll do well, but no.
Same for me with this shape
I won't buy Chanel Jumbo, 19, 22, Gabrielle, LV pochette metis, anything from LV again actually hahah
No LV! I’m addicted to the petite Malle!
Give your patent twist another chance - lower cross bodies will be back !!
ahh she is gone to a new home!
The first 4 and a half minutes is an ad basically. So almost 25% of the video. Seems excessive. I enjoy your topics and commentary, but that's a lot of time dedicated to selling stuff.
