Hello Mr panuka thanks for sharing your experience. I have never heard you talking about pollination, can you please talk about it? Secondly i have ordered a50 to 60 % shade net and i came to know that the best shade net for vegetables is 30 to 40% . Can I still go a head with 50% ? Thanks Watching from Mali
With good management, you can one cycle of sweet pepper per year. Then you rotate. Best is to rotate with a crop with a shorter lifespan so that you get back in production
This is my first season in greenhouse sweet peppers and its kicking my butt. Any chance you can share your nutrients recipe and how you apply? Keep up the awesome work. I am copying your fertility trenches for next season.
You will figure it over time. On nutrients, we basically "talk" to the plant to see what is missing so we do not have a fixed fertigation schedule. But overall, we use the likes of MAP, Magnesium Sulphate and Nitrate, Potassium Sulphate and Nitrate as well as Calcium Nitrate. This is supplemented by foliars from starter to fruit and flower. Note that most of these are dependant on the age of the plant hence my response that we do not have it defined as a schedule.
How many plants do you have here, what is the dimension of the green house ?
