I personally think her value is way higher than most 4 stars, even the meta ones, especially for newbies, since she's fully functional at c0 already.

Dendro MC works fine for hyperbloom on their own if the enemies stay in the elemental burst circle and you make sure the burst isn’t detonated by Pyro. If enemies are more mobile, you will want to bring another Dendro character to continue generating cores if enemies run out of the burst.

15:15 minor point, but Flowers of Paradise Lost is with Desert Pavilion, not Vourukasha's Glow. the sentiment is still the same though considering both DPC and VG are very situationally useful sets at best.
And FoP itself is also a bit situational. It is fine if you only use a character in dendro teams, but if you use them for other things as well, I'd far rather run Gilded Dreams.
7:27 Hyperfridge actually makes more dendro cores than most normal hyperbloom teams. It has to do with gauge theory, but in summary, the cryo aura coexists with the dendro aura, and when hydro is applied, first the cryo aura will cause freeze, consuming almost all of the hydro, and then the dendro aura will cause a bloom reaction with the little amount of hydro left. This might sound counter productive, but what it does is that it keeps the dendro aura from been consumed in one go. So you basically have more dendro than what you would have without cryo, allowing you to have more dendro cores with less dendro application.
Just in case people don't realize it, her name is Shinobu. Kuki is her surname. Calling her "Kuki" is like calling Kazuha "Kaedehara" or Ayaka and Ayato "Kamisato"
The difference is that the surname is shorter than her actual name in this instance so that’s why they call her Kuki. It’s just easier to say more quickly Nobody is gonna say Shikanoin instead of Heizou because it’s longer
I get hate everytime I say it, but I built my Kuki for some extra healing too and she's so good I can't even take her off my teams. 700EM 30/80 crit 30% electro damage bonus 50% healing bonus I wish I could properly explain to people just how good this is.
@@d_x_m_ehyperbloom damage depends on electro character's EM; but still if your dendro character is well built, then its more team damage. If you really dont want to invest too much into the dendro character, at least get them a deepwood memories set & you're good to go

@@d_x_m_e For a hyberbloom team you basically only need to have only 3 characters... first a good dendro applier example dendro mc... so u basically want 100% burst uptime on him so build him with deepwood memories with 220+ ER... next a good hydro for example xinqiu you build him however u want... norma subdps build with good er because you also want 100% uptime here... now for kuki first priority is to get her to lvl 90 talents doesn't matter go full em for artifacts and weapons.. hyberbloom dmg basically depends on the lvl and em of the character triggering the hyberbloom.
Her burst is also useful for another reason. Like most characters, she s during her burst animation, which means her burst acts to protect her, allowing her to more safely get a tick of healing in. All while you get more reactions.
When I first got Kuki, she was only C0. She wasn't very useful then because her E range wasn't as big and it didn't last that long. A few patches ago, I got her to C2, then I loaded her up with EM, leveled her up to 89 and put her in Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu team. Let's just say, that was the first time I 36-star the Abyss from struggling to get one star on each chamber. You definitely want her to be C2 or at the very least C1 and level her up.
Her constellation is not that important. I own her c0 and easily 36 star every time. Her c2 only makes her rotation a bit smoother. I only wish to have her c4 because I own a Key of Nilou 😂
Dk about the rest, but i fell in love with Cookie once i got her. Shes so cute and heals you. Since then shes in all my teams even to this day, i just love her
Raiden e doesn’t proc on normal/charged. It procs upon doing damage. This includes hyperbloom dmg (can self proc more hyperblooms). The only weakness are shields or REALLY big enemies like the whale.
never understood the hate she had early, ive been using her as main healer and she heals a good 5.8k per ring burst. got her at c6 now, her ring burst goes 10 times that's almost 60k healing.
I remember building her just because I was super hyped for a single electro healer. I also just loved her character- I am ecstatic that she became what she is today!
kuki was always the best elecro applicator. but befor dendro, an elecro applicator was something near useless. the character that you list here don't have this potential.
Thanks for dropping this video. I was questioning my luck when this video showed up. Did more than 100 pulls for kuki and ended up with c5 xiangling, c2 kirara, c0 MIKA, c0 DIONA, c1 Diluc, c0 Ayato and a bunch of weapons but didnt get a single kuki. Wow. Just Wow. I'm f2p and completed Sumeru forest and desert exploration to save up for some primos. I was burnt out after forest exploration still didnt give up and completed desert as well. These are what genshin rewards you with for your effort. Now I'm thinking of using Fischl in my hyperbloom as i dont have Raiden.
Yeah, she was definitely not a bad four star when she was released. Sure, she wasn't Benny, but Benny wouldn't be Benny if Hoyoverse had access to time travel.
I always knew Shinobu is good, especially since she's a mobile healer (no circle impact) and her heal is tied to her skill (when Burst healers need ER for their heals). So it's great to see people coming around to her. Dendro really give her a big boost.
Awesome for exploring, since like you said, it's on demand healing and it follows you. Between her and Kokomi, I barely touch the Statues of the 7 to heal

Owhh i never thought Kuki is very sought after.. im very new to the game and i used kuki for my first team build.. It was very easy for me to clear mobs with hyperbloom kuki team..
DPS-Build-Yanfei + Full-EM-Kuki; even just the two of them make a crazy good f2p team. You hardly ever die, especially if you have Yanfei Cons for her shield on burst. You get good DPS if they are built decently well. And your playstyle is also comfy af. Just activate Kuki's healing on CD, and then do your Q+CA+E+CA+NA+NA+CA string over and over with Yanfei. While you want to stay close to your enemies to always get the overload reactions, even if the small ones fly away it's not a big deal cuz Yanfei's range is just goated.
Having done a ton of freeze teams with Ayaka and Shenhe, I think my Wrio needs a different play style to keep it fresh. This hyperfridge might just be it!

I've been playing for over a month and just tried hyperbloom Kuki... now I get what they mean with how absurdly strong it is with so little investment. Wish I could pull some more for c2 but I'm already at guaranteed pity. :(
My team rotation is fairly mediocre, but it generally keeps me alive against most opponents... The slots I have the characters in only make sense to my brain because I just chose to keep Kuki Shinobu in the fourth slot after I switched out the others. I used to just use Yanfei & Kuki Shinobu in the first & last slots respectively, with random characters in the two middle slots just to have extra bodies if I needed to stay alive (more often than not, Yanfei would get killed because I wasn't paying attention to her health, & Kuki would get killed because I overestimated her healing capabilities, Noel helped with both of those a bit, but I was either too lazy to build Noel or just misunderstood how to build her properly, either could be true...)... My rotation now is... 1) Zhongli's skill to start it off, to keep my characters from constantly getting knocked around. He's in the UP directional slot... 2) Tighnari's skill to blind/disorient the enemies, having them randomly attacking in the wrong direction, as well as covering them with Dendro. He's in the Left directional slot... 3) Sangonomiya Kokomi's skill to apply Hydro, do slight damage, get the Dendro cores ready, as well as prepare to help with a bit of healing. She's in the Right directional slot... (if her skill isn't cooled down yet, I can just use her normal or charged attack to apply Hydro, do a little damage, & prepare the Dendro cores...)... 4) Kuki Shinobu (CLEARLY MY FAVORITE CHARACTER...)'s skill to set off the Dendro cores, apply Electro, do damage (in addition to my using normal & charged attacks at the same time...), & return HP. She's in the DOWN directional slot... Kuki Shinobu is my strongest character (it took a while to get her there, as I couldn't find the Ruin Serpent in the Chasm for quite some time, then, oddly enough, some random person who assumed that I was too weak to ever face that thing, showed me a short cut to get to it without having to go the long way around (still haven't been that way yet, so it's still blacked out...), & I can't remember what they did to get me to it, but, I did activate the waypoint right there, so I just constantly went back there getting the materials from it with no real problem (or as a certain UA-camr has been known to say: it was "Super easy, barely an inconvenience "...)...)... In case it's not blatantly obvious, I'm playing on a PS5... I had the game on my phone since it first came out, but didn't play it even once until I put it on my PS5 earlier this year, now it's on my old phone, my older phone, my new phone, my PS5, & two laptops...😂
I'm only at the first 20s of the video, but I have to say, even before Dendro, when she came out, she was already good : - Offfield healing with the skill (and not burst) with nearly 100% uptime that follow the character and not in a circle on the ground - Good healing stats (in full HP or full EM) better than Barbara skill - Regular Electro application that could already work with overload or electro charge team (in a EM build) - Very easy to use and build. All in all, she was already a good healer that could be used in reaction base team. Dendro just made her overall top tier instead of high tier healer/support.
Raiden's E procs on any dmg, not normals. She works fine with Sayu and Yaoyao. Her trouble is with shields. That being said, don't make the lightning queen an e-bot.

My go-to Shinobu team is Ayato-Shinobu-Nahida-flex (usually Zhongli, Xingqiu or another Dendro unit like Dendro Traveler, sometimes Kazuha.). Reason why is that Ayato's Burst and skill make him an AMAZING if not PERFECT driver for Nahida's constant Dendro application, in a set AoE, which Shinobu can reliably activate. No need messing with only normal attacks to get the dendro cores or whatever using Yelan or Xingqiu as driver.
My hyperbloom team comp is Kuki Furina Tighnari and Baizhu, I got really lucky with Furina and baizhu on that banner, won one 50, and got baizhu at 47 pity, but since I don’t have nahida he is my only field dendro applicator

Kuki is good without dendro because she's electro and a healer. Run raiden, kazuha, and kuki thru abyss all the time. It's cool to see you run Yoimiya hyperburgeon I've been talking about that team for a while.

i dont got her. 1. i like her look. she a ninja. 2. her gameplay is boring. her abilities tiny aoe circles. and her autos for a ninja she just gets 1 flip. but 3. She meta? i guess that all people care about.
It can work if one of your other units is on Prototype Amber. Together is manageable, but only Kuki is probably not enough. Bennett can also work, but you have to specifically build him for healing (Maiden + ER/HP/Healing Bonus), and you have to micro manage to spread out the 10k healing ticks.
I've pulled on this current 4.2 banner hoping to get C0 Kuki from 0 pity. I instead have C6d my Xianling with 5 copies all the way to hard pity. Now I have C0 Cyno, and still no Kuki.
So I’m newer to the game and got c1 kuki now, hoping to build a hyperbloom team with her collei, ayato, and Barbara (I know two healers is redundant but it’s all it got). Maybe putting dendro traveler would be better?
Right there with you about Raiden. I could never disrespect her like that putting pure EM and off field skill bot. I do love Kuki tho ever since her release and the introduction of dendro for Kuki has to be the single biggest indirect buff in Genshin history lol (Nilou for Barbara pre-nerf being a close second). I did go out of my way to pull 2 Xiphos' Moonlight actually because I've chased the Key twice and it's dodged me both times. It seems hard locked to Key banners. That said I gave my Freedom Sworn to Kuki very early on and put Xiphos' on Kazuha and Alhaitham hah. But I have played Kuki on 2pc EM / 2pc Healing bonus with Dark Iron Sword and she absolutely destroys everything outside of floor 12 abyss still. Even there she can still be enough depending on your other teammates. She's easily top 5 most valuable characters for a free to play account.
Hi and thank you for the vid! You talked about knowing how to build you team, but I kinda have some doubts. I generally use the optimizer for artifacts, I calculate how much energy recharge I need with zharkov calc, and then I try to optimize for max damage on the burst for characters like xq or yelan, max em for kuki, and max avg damage for nahida (if it's on field usually goes more on crit). Idk if I'm messing it completely or what but I'm still having some troubles for 36 stars sometimes 😅
I wanted my first Widsith and C2 Kuki so I pulled on weapon banner and ayato’s and I got both of Widsith + Kuki with my first Favonius Codex within 13 pulls wooooo 🎉
I went out of my way to get her when she dropped cause she was an ELECTRO HEALER. I appreciated her electro app too but it was mainly for the heals. What happened after with dendro just broke the game 4 me
Fun fact about Nahida double hydro team: yes, my team failed to clear the abyss, but the problem was with 1) my artifacts that needed more CR/CD and 2) skill issue. Now, I clear the abyss with this team, or with Nahida/Xingqiu/Kuki/Alhaitham or Nahida/Yelan/Furina/Kuki. Whatever people say about Kuki's healing, she's doing fine there. Probably, the reason I like this team with Furina and Kuki is my style of playing...

Kuki my beloved 🥰🥰 The buff she got with dendro was the best thing hoyo has ever done lmao Regarding Key on her, C4 is not necessary because you can just stay on field for an extra 1.5 seconds for another skill proc to get the third stack. But C4 is highly recommended so that you don't need to extend your rotation

So true. Hyperbloom is almost always the best team for on fielding your favorite character if they are weaker or a 4 star (or if the element checks in abyss aren't in your favor).
Hey Jello what you thinking of this video “STOP Recommending NATIONAL” and “STOP Recommending HYPERBLOOM” by Butterfer0808. I want your input since I have a taken the stands that Butterfer0808 is right what he is saying.
Wait... but the reason why hyperbloom is so often recommended isn't that it offers the highest dmg.. it is because of its ease of use.... that is why it is recommended for players with some handycap.. like me when i gotta play on mobile.. or someone new who doesn't understand how you group optimally.. or just someone who is slower to react in general.. due to some impairment or just a shitty connection.. And i would say it is similarly hard to farm to a comparable subdps piece for Yelan or Xingqiu. Yes EM is a rare mainstat.. but since the substats aren't important it can be easier to get bad substat EM pieces than actually good substats for emblem users as example. And if you just ignore EM sets in the beginning and just take whatever set you can get EM on you don't lose that much dmg on your hyperblooms while gearing up your subdps... I mean he is right with most he says.. but the title is only phrased like that for the bait.. he isn't invalidating hyperbloom.. just saying because it isn't the best dmg option we shouldn't recommend it? .. completely ignoring why imho hyperbloom is so good especially for new players.. i mean so long they don't stop trying to build other teams because they only rely on their hyperbloom.. And i gotta say i find the 500k dmg ceiling he mentions for hyperbloom rather low.. my Kuki is closer to 700k even in bad scenarios.

It gave some good nuances on hyperbloom, but as the other said they didn’t really disprove how strong it easy it is, since they ignore that EM building doesn’t need to focus on substats or 4pc sets I gave my xq, Kuki and dendro mc rainbow artifacts that have the right mainstats and it carried all the way to the moon while I build my more traditional 2nd team w a dps You don’t have to if you don’t like it ofc, there are other strong teams. @@sanderpotsepp7603 Sure.. but nobody ever doubted that... it's just that a good hyperbloom Kuki basically adds another instance of a good Xingqui rainswords to your team in terms of damage done while still offering better onfield healing than an amber. And Kuki's burst can easily outdamage Xingqui's skill if dendro is present on the target(s) especially in a multi target environment. Aggravate Kuki won't out dps Raiden.. but it still adds up. So you get all of the benefits of another subdps while also getting a respectable onfield heal with constant uptime. And while he is right about high investment teams ... i completely disagree with his assessment of low investment teams. You don't need to "waste" resin farming specifically for Kuki.. just take whatever 5* or even 4* EM mainstat piece you can find, that preferably has tons of HP on it, and you're good to go.. 2pc 80 em bonus is nice and 4pc is better.. and you can aim to some day get them.. but you don't have to for her to hit 35k+ hyperblooms which already are better than a much better invested Xingqui as emblem is a biatch and will rather give you EM peices than actually useable crit circlets (i know anecdotal evidence .. but after farmin emblem for > 1 year of daily resin and knowing a lot of people with the same xp.. ) And again .. yeah ofc all dmg is important. But the ease of how you achieve it is also important. Otherwise Mona would still be META as she build for ER is still a major Nuke if you can pull off the double vape.. which many fail to.. making her quite bad instead. And the same goes for any hypercarry.. they usually rely on well executed grouping to be as effective as they claim... Anyhow.. we can all agree that no single unit even hyper carries will do an overwelhming majority of dmg in a well balanced team. That is why everybody since basically ever recommends not to focus solely on a hypercarry but rather build a variety of subdps as they do a lot. I mean when i help new players who've progressed to fast with the world level i often end up with a single unit 2 at most. I know how little an Ayaka or Hu Tao or Xiao ... or or or .. does without their teams. Still hyperbloom is a very valid option for new players as hypercarries usually only really shine in high invest teams and new players can't afford those for a very long time.

Sucrose national clears faster than non whale 5 star premium teams. Nahida double hydro HB clears fast af, btw I only have C0 nahida. I only Have Furina as 5 star Fontain char C0 btw and shes kinda useless to me atm. No good Hunter set and Bad AoE healers, i think i will get Neuvillette for sure on his rerun

@@empegirl9696 Yes! Iv'e been playing for around 11 months now, and 36 starring for 6-7 months now. My go to teams are always National variants and Hyperbloom. Since Fontaine, I have never used any Fontaine characters in Abyss... abyss always change, so this one is a little harder than usual, but expected with Archon on banner, even tho I think she isn't very good atm (for me) I expect the Cyno and Ayato abyss to be much easier tbh. The hardest abyss I'm sure everyone remembers 3.7 had Kazuha and Alhaitham on banner, both God tier characters lol
@@JelloImpact Understood, I was trying to make my own hyperbloom team since I pulled Ayato and Kuki. I have a Raiden, but I don't want her to steal the hyperblooms since I don't have her EM. So I was building Fischl (before I pulled kuki). I have Baizhu but I guess he wouldn't be driving on a team where Ayato (Offering set) is the main dps. Thus, I saw the benefit of having a Nahida. My only other dendro is Kirara who I pulled on this banner too and a C4 Collei.
I feel like Raiden/Baizhu might work better for Aggravate instead of hyperbloom haha. I've seen a few videos of ayato/baizhu hyperbloom. So I probably don't have enough ER for my rotations though.
Just a clarification as an em Raiden user: Raiden’s skill activates when you damage an enemy. Which means you can use her for meme builds where you don’t normal attack as long as something is causing damage to the enemy. Like in hopperbloom via yaoyao and Furina. It does have one main weakness compared to Kuki, which is it won’t activate when all of your enemies have damage nullifying shields (aka abyss mages). But on the other hand that’s not that common, you’ll be shredding most shields pretty fast in a hyperbloom team anyways, and you can use her burst or skill cast to catch some of those/help break the shield faster. EM raiden is also definitely worse against the new whale. Because the blooms spawn next to you, but the whale is so big when raidens skill hits it does so too far away to proc hyperblooms. This is the only boss where this is a crippling problem though, and it’s not even one that appears in the abyss, so she is still totally workable as an em bot if you want to use her that way. Otherwise, good points and thanks for the video!
I found a team that takes my Kuki hyperbloom to a whole new level of OP. It is not a budget team by any means. Kuki, Yelan, Nahida, Baizhu. Both Yelan and Nahida is c2 so there is enough hydro application for dendro core production and the ability for hyperbloom to crit. Double dendro gives up to 100 more EM and since Kuki is the driver in this team she soaks in the buffs of Nahida burst for 250 more EM and Baizhu's A4 passive "all things are of the earth" to increase hyperbloom even more. I gotten up to 99.4k hyperblooms with this team and it is disgustingly OP.

Kuki's burst is also useful for invul frames. Skill followed by burst usually guarantees at least one heal tick hits her and gets her hp back up.

7:27 Hyperfridge actually makes more dendro cores than most normal hyperbloom teams. It has to do with gauge theory, but in summary, the cryo aura coexists with the dendro aura, and when hydro is applied, first the cryo aura will cause freeze, consuming almost all of the hydro, and then the dendro aura will cause a bloom reaction with the little amount of hydro left. This might sound counter productive, but what it does is that it keeps the dendro aura from been consumed in one go. So you basically have more dendro than what you would have without cryo, allowing you to have more dendro cores with less dendro application.

@@d_x_m_e For a hyberbloom team you basically only need to have only 3 characters... first a good dendro applier example dendro mc... so u basically want 100% burst uptime on him so build him with deepwood memories with 220+ ER... next a good hydro for example xinqiu you build him however u want... norma subdps build with good er because you also want 100% uptime here... now for kuki first priority is to get her to lvl 90 talents doesn't matter go full em for artifacts and weapons.. hyberbloom dmg basically depends on the lvl and em of the character triggering the hyberbloom.

Her burst is also useful for another reason. Like most characters, she s during her burst animation, which means her burst acts to protect her, allowing her to more safely get a tick of healing in. All while you get more reactions.

When I first got Kuki, she was only C0. She wasn't very useful then because her E range wasn't as big and it didn't last that long. A few patches ago, I got her to C2, then I loaded her up with EM, leveled her up to 89 and put her in Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu team. Let's just say, that was the first time I 36-star the Abyss from struggling to get one star on each chamber. You definitely want her to be C2 or at the very least C1 and level her up.

Raiden e doesn’t proc on normal/charged. It procs upon doing damage.
This includes hyperbloom dmg (can self proc more hyperblooms).
The only weakness are shields or REALLY big enemies like the whale.

never understood the hate she had early, ive been using her as main healer and she heals a good 5.8k per ring burst. got her at c6 now, her ring burst goes 10 times that's almost 60k healing.

Thanks for dropping this video. I was questioning my luck when this video showed up. Did more than 100 pulls for kuki and ended up with c5 xiangling, c2 kirara, c0 MIKA, c0 DIONA, c1 Diluc, c0 Ayato and a bunch of weapons but didnt get a single kuki. Wow. Just Wow. I'm f2p and completed Sumeru forest and desert exploration to save up for some primos. I was burnt out after forest exploration still didnt give up and completed desert as well. These are what genshin rewards you with for your effort.
Now I'm thinking of using Fischl in my hyperbloom as i dont have Raiden.

I always knew Shinobu is good, especially since she's a mobile healer (no circle impact) and her heal is tied to her skill (when Burst healers need ER for their heals). So it's great to see people coming around to her. Dendro really give her a big boost.

Owhh i never thought Kuki is very sought after.. im very new to the game and i used kuki for my first team build.. It was very easy for me to clear mobs with hyperbloom kuki team..
DPS-Build-Yanfei + Full-EM-Kuki; even just the two of them make a crazy good f2p team. You hardly ever die, especially if you have Yanfei Cons for her shield on burst. You get good DPS if they are built decently well. And your playstyle is also comfy af. Just activate Kuki's healing on CD, and then do your Q+CA+E+CA+NA+NA+CA string over and over with Yanfei. While you want to stay close to your enemies to always get the overload reactions, even if the small ones fly away it's not a big deal cuz Yanfei's range is just goated.
I spent like 50 wishes trying to get ONE constellation. Instead I got Ayato...

My team rotation is fairly mediocre, but it generally keeps me alive against most opponents... The slots I have the characters in only make sense to my brain because I just chose to keep Kuki Shinobu in the fourth slot after I switched out the others. I used to just use Yanfei & Kuki Shinobu in the first & last slots respectively, with random characters in the two middle slots just to have extra bodies if I needed to stay alive (more often than not, Yanfei would get killed because I wasn't paying attention to her health, & Kuki would get killed because I overestimated her healing capabilities, Noel helped with both of those a bit, but I was either too lazy to build Noel or just misunderstood how to build her properly, either could be true...)...
My rotation now is...
1) Zhongli's skill to start it off, to keep my characters from constantly getting knocked around. He's in the UP directional slot...
2) Tighnari's skill to blind/disorient the enemies, having them randomly attacking in the wrong direction, as well as covering them with Dendro. He's in the Left directional slot...
3) Sangonomiya Kokomi's skill to apply Hydro, do slight damage, get the Dendro cores ready, as well as prepare to help with a bit of healing. She's in the Right directional slot... (if her skill isn't cooled down yet, I can just use her normal or charged attack to apply Hydro, do a little damage, & prepare the Dendro cores...)...
4) Kuki Shinobu (CLEARLY MY FAVORITE CHARACTER...)'s skill to set off the Dendro cores, apply Electro, do damage (in addition to my using normal & charged attacks at the same time...), & return HP. She's in the DOWN directional slot...
Kuki Shinobu is my strongest character (it took a while to get her there, as I couldn't find the Ruin Serpent in the Chasm for quite some time, then, oddly enough, some random person who assumed that I was too weak to ever face that thing, showed me a short cut to get to it without having to go the long way around (still haven't been that way yet, so it's still blacked out...), & I can't remember what they did to get me to it, but, I did activate the waypoint right there, so I just constantly went back there getting the materials from it with no real problem (or as a certain UA-camr has been known to say: it was "Super easy, barely an inconvenience "...)...)...
In case it's not blatantly obvious, I'm playing on a PS5...
I had the game on my phone since it first came out, but didn't play it even once until I put it on my PS5 earlier this year, now it's on my old phone, my older phone, my new phone, my PS5, & two laptops...😂
I'm only at the first 20s of the video, but I have to say, even before Dendro, when she came out, she was already good :
- Offfield healing with the skill (and not burst) with nearly 100% uptime that follow the character and not in a circle on the ground
- Good healing stats (in full HP or full EM) better than Barbara skill
- Regular Electro application that could already work with overload or electro charge team (in a EM build)
- Very easy to use and build.
All in all, she was already a good healer that could be used in reaction base team.
Dendro just made her overall top tier instead of high tier healer/support.
Raiden's E procs on any dmg, not normals. She works fine with Sayu and Yaoyao. Her trouble is with shields. That being said, don't make the lightning queen an e-bot.
Truly my most used character. All u need is a good FoPL, and a good milellith. And you’re set!

My go-to Shinobu team is Ayato-Shinobu-Nahida-flex (usually Zhongli, Xingqiu or another Dendro unit like Dendro Traveler, sometimes Kazuha.). Reason why is that Ayato's Burst and skill make him an AMAZING if not PERFECT driver for Nahida's constant Dendro application, in a set AoE, which Shinobu can reliably activate.
No need messing with only normal attacks to get the dendro cores or whatever using Yelan or Xingqiu as driver.
My hyperbloom team comp is Kuki Furina Tighnari and Baizhu, I got really lucky with Furina and baizhu on that banner, won one 50, and got baizhu at 47 pity, but since I don’t have nahida he is my only field dendro applicator

It can work if one of your other units is on Prototype Amber. Together is manageable, but only Kuki is probably not enough.
Bennett can also work, but you have to specifically build him for healing (Maiden + ER/HP/Healing Bonus), and you have to micro manage to spread out the 10k healing ticks.

I've pulled on this current 4.2 banner hoping to get C0 Kuki from 0 pity. I instead have C6d my Xianling with 5 copies all the way to hard pity. Now I have C0 Cyno, and still no Kuki.
So I’m newer to the game and got c1 kuki now, hoping to build a hyperbloom team with her collei, ayato, and Barbara (I know two healers is redundant but it’s all it got). Maybe putting dendro traveler would be better?
Right there with you about Raiden. I could never disrespect her like that putting pure EM and off field skill bot. I do love Kuki tho ever since her release and the introduction of dendro for Kuki has to be the single biggest indirect buff in Genshin history lol (Nilou for Barbara pre-nerf being a close second).
I did go out of my way to pull 2 Xiphos' Moonlight actually because I've chased the Key twice and it's dodged me both times. It seems hard locked to Key banners. That said I gave my Freedom Sworn to Kuki very early on and put Xiphos' on Kazuha and Alhaitham hah. But I have played Kuki on 2pc EM / 2pc Healing bonus with Dark Iron Sword and she absolutely destroys everything outside of floor 12 abyss still. Even there she can still be enough depending on your other teammates. She's easily top 5 most valuable characters for a free to play account.
Hi and thank you for the vid! You talked about knowing how to build you team, but I kinda have some doubts.
I generally use the optimizer for artifacts, I calculate how much energy recharge I need with zharkov calc, and then I try to optimize for max damage on the burst for characters like xq or yelan, max em for kuki, and max avg damage for nahida (if it's on field usually goes more on crit).
Idk if I'm messing it completely or what but I'm still having some troubles for 36 stars sometimes 😅
I wanted my first Widsith and C2 Kuki so I pulled on weapon banner and ayato’s and I got both of Widsith + Kuki with my first Favonius Codex within 13 pulls wooooo 🎉
I went out of my way to get her when she dropped cause she was an ELECTRO HEALER. I appreciated her electro app too but it was mainly for the heals. What happened after with dendro just broke the game 4 me
Fun fact about Nahida double hydro team: yes, my team failed to clear the abyss, but the problem was with 1) my artifacts that needed more CR/CD and 2) skill issue. Now, I clear the abyss with this team, or with Nahida/Xingqiu/Kuki/Alhaitham or Nahida/Yelan/Furina/Kuki. Whatever people say about Kuki's healing, she's doing fine there. Probably, the reason I like this team with Furina and Kuki is my style of playing...

Regarding Key on her, C4 is not necessary because you can just stay on field for an extra 1.5 seconds for another skill proc to get the third stack. But C4 is highly recommended so that you don't need to extend your rotation

So true. Hyperbloom is almost always the best team for on fielding your favorite character if they are weaker or a 4 star (or if the element checks in abyss aren't in your favor).

Wait... but the reason why hyperbloom is so often recommended isn't that it offers the highest dmg.. it is because of its ease of use.... that is why it is recommended for players with some handycap.. like me when i gotta play on mobile.. or someone new who doesn't understand how you group optimally.. or just someone who is slower to react in general.. due to some impairment or just a shitty connection..
And i would say it is similarly hard to farm to a comparable subdps piece for Yelan or Xingqiu. Yes EM is a rare mainstat.. but since the substats aren't important it can be easier to get bad substat EM pieces than actually good substats for emblem users as example. And if you just ignore EM sets in the beginning and just take whatever set you can get EM on you don't lose that much dmg on your hyperblooms while gearing up your subdps...
I mean he is right with most he says.. but the title is only phrased like that for the bait.. he isn't invalidating hyperbloom.. just saying because it isn't the best dmg option we shouldn't recommend it? .. completely ignoring why imho hyperbloom is so good especially for new players.. i mean so long they don't stop trying to build other teams because they only rely on their hyperbloom..
And i gotta say i find the 500k dmg ceiling he mentions for hyperbloom rather low.. my Kuki is closer to 700k even in bad scenarios.

I gave my xq, Kuki and dendro mc rainbow artifacts that have the right mainstats and it carried all the way to the moon while I build my more traditional 2nd team w a dps

it's just that a good hyperbloom Kuki basically adds another instance of a good Xingqui rainswords to your team in terms of damage done while still offering better onfield healing than an amber.
And Kuki's burst can easily outdamage Xingqui's skill if dendro is present on the target(s) especially in a multi target environment.
Aggravate Kuki won't out dps Raiden.. but it still adds up.
So you get all of the benefits of another subdps while also getting a respectable onfield heal with constant uptime.
And while he is right about high investment teams ... i completely disagree with his assessment of low investment teams.
You don't need to "waste" resin farming specifically for Kuki.. just take whatever 5* or even 4* EM mainstat piece you can find, that preferably has tons of HP on it, and you're good to go.. 2pc 80 em bonus is nice and 4pc is better.. and you can aim to some day get them.. but you don't have to for her to hit 35k+ hyperblooms which already are better than a much better invested Xingqui as emblem is a biatch and will rather give you EM peices than actually useable crit circlets (i know anecdotal evidence .. but after farmin emblem for > 1 year of daily resin and knowing a lot of people with the same xp.. )
And again .. yeah ofc all dmg is important.
But the ease of how you achieve it is also important. Otherwise Mona would still be META as she build for ER is still a major Nuke if you can pull off the double vape.. which many fail to.. making her quite bad instead.
And the same goes for any hypercarry.. they usually rely on well executed grouping to be as effective as they claim...
Anyhow.. we can all agree that no single unit even hyper carries will do an overwelhming majority of dmg in a well balanced team. That is why everybody since basically ever recommends not to focus solely on a hypercarry but rather build a variety of subdps as they do a lot.
I mean when i help new players who've progressed to fast with the world level i often end up with a single unit 2 at most.
I know how little an Ayaka or Hu Tao or Xiao ... or or or .. does without their teams.
Still hyperbloom is a very valid option for new players as hypercarries usually only really shine in high invest teams and new players can't afford those for a very long time.

Sucrose national clears faster than non whale 5 star premium teams. Nahida double hydro HB clears fast af, btw I only have C0 nahida. I only Have Furina as 5 star Fontain char C0 btw and shes kinda useless to me atm. No good Hunter set and Bad AoE healers, i think i will get Neuvillette for sure on his rerun

Since Fontaine, I have never used any Fontaine characters in Abyss... abyss always change, so this one is a little harder than usual, but expected with Archon on banner, even tho I think she isn't very good atm (for me) I expect the Cyno and Ayato abyss to be much easier tbh. The hardest abyss I'm sure everyone remembers 3.7 had Kazuha and Alhaitham on banner, both God tier characters lol

@@JelloImpact Understood, I was trying to make my own hyperbloom team since I pulled Ayato and Kuki. I have a Raiden, but I don't want her to steal the hyperblooms since I don't have her EM. So I was building Fischl (before I pulled kuki). I have Baizhu but I guess he wouldn't be driving on a team where Ayato (Offering set) is the main dps. Thus, I saw the benefit of having a Nahida. My only other dendro is Kirara who I pulled on this banner too and a C4 Collei.
I feel like Raiden/Baizhu might work better for Aggravate instead of hyperbloom haha. I've seen a few videos of ayato/baizhu hyperbloom. So I probably don't have enough ER for my rotations though.
I put healing bonus on her circlet for extra heal.

Skill issue if you still die with that 100% uptime 3k per tick healing while doing 34k per hyperbloom

Just a clarification as an em Raiden user: Raiden’s skill activates when you damage an enemy. Which means you can use her for meme builds where you don’t normal attack as long as something is causing damage to the enemy. Like in hopperbloom via yaoyao and Furina.
It does have one main weakness compared to Kuki, which is it won’t activate when all of your enemies have damage nullifying shields (aka abyss mages). But on the other hand that’s not that common, you’ll be shredding most shields pretty fast in a hyperbloom team anyways, and you can use her burst or skill cast to catch some of those/help break the shield faster.
EM raiden is also definitely worse against the new whale. Because the blooms spawn next to you, but the whale is so big when raidens skill hits it does so too far away to proc hyperblooms. This is the only boss where this is a crippling problem though, and it’s not even one that appears in the abyss, so she is still totally workable as an em bot if you want to use her that way.

I found a team that takes my Kuki hyperbloom to a whole new level of OP. It is not a budget team by any means. Kuki, Yelan, Nahida, Baizhu. Both Yelan and Nahida is c2 so there is enough hydro application for dendro core production and the ability for hyperbloom to crit. Double dendro gives up to 100 more EM and since Kuki is the driver in this team she soaks in the buffs of Nahida burst for 250 more EM and Baizhu's A4 passive "all things are of the earth" to increase hyperbloom even more. I gotten up to 99.4k hyperblooms with this team and it is disgustingly OP.
