I'm not sure if anyone has told you yet, Rhadamant. when you are building anything and have the welder in your hand, right clicking on the object will create a blueprint in your inventory of that object as well as deposit any relevant ingredients. Clicking the mouse wheel while looking at a storage container will withdraw any ingredients you have stored in the container system of any blueprints you have. I think shift + mouse wheel deposits held inventory of ores and crafted things into relevant containers that are connected. I think + mouse wheel puts into production the exact quantity of ingredients of objects you have in your blueprints. Hope this helps!
I played this once for a marathon and its not on the schedule for me to ever play again, learning about a game I won't be playing is a poor use of my time, I hope you understand.
idk why people watch others play video games but im enjoying the phenomenon. space engineers was a lot of fun when i used to play it and im glad theres people out there streaming it and having a good time. this is a fun series man.
"idk why people watch others play video games" - For much the same reason as people watch others play sports I guess. 😄 (But better, because you usually don't get to chat with the sports-people while they're playing!)
Yeah apoc settings are fun if you get your survival kit underground before it gets nuked. Meteors are only way to grab a small bit of plat and uranium on a planet so it's useful.
On the subject of Solar Panels, I used to have a rover design I'd use all the time that had storage and survival equipment along the spine of the thing and solar panels on rotors above them. I'd have the panels on 45s to act as a canopy that one could imagine being useful as shelter during weather, but when you had it parked, you could adjust the solar panels to be at the same angle so you could point them at the sun effectively
First point of damage: opened helmet on purpose Second point of damage: opened helmet on accident Third point of damage: fall damage for working on what wasn't voted on On brand so far
Besides your initial start, CLANG has been merciful thus far. I half expected you to pancake yourself against the mountain when you brought up your continued non death and then I was really expecting CLANG to show his power by having 3 spiders swarm you when you returned to base with 2% thrust left. Congrats on avoiding CLANGs displeasure and I'm enjoying the series.
One thing that perhaps I'm paying too much attention to. It wouldn't make sense to have large insects with less oxygen, while the opposite is true and too much oxygen is poisonous to humans, making a suit necessary.
Good question ... hmm ... I like the complexity of Stationeers more but I think I enjoy the space flight, resources exploitation and the strange build shenanigans of this better meaning overall I like this better.
@@Rhadamant Don't you feel the combat is a bit shabby? I don't know how to translate "shabby" so the definition is from Google Translation but I don't feel the game is fluid enough, beyond that I like to see you play as always
Snort. You have needed to build the Assember anyways to make a Battery. As the Survival Kit doesn't make Power Cells needed for the construction of a battery.

@Rhadamant that's fair, I just started this series and wasn't sure

Thanks Brian!

One of the most memorable space engineers games I've played was one with spiders, no oxygen, and "apocalyptic" meteors.
Sounds awesome

Hugs from Bugs: get yours today! Very nice episode with a LOT of things going on for base growth.
The base must grow! lol

Oh that's a neat way of going about it!
#34:00 Visibility is roughly 1 mm past your helmet...

You really want me to die huh
It's a waste of the death counter if it stays zero :-p@@Rhadamant
That'll change, lol @@seth4bucks
It's not a simple game to figure out but it's impressive how well you build a starter base and get settled
Oh well thanks! I tried to do my homework prior to playing =]
Im loving this and your new NMS series. Even though I'm not huge on space games.
Well it'll be a few episodes more before I'm even in space =]
At the risk of making a joke that many have before... it's an ugly planet, a bug planet! A planet hostile to life as we know it!
lol
@@Rhadamant that's at least worth a "lmao", you meanie!
Thanks for all the awesome content!
My pleasure!
Build planner is your friend
I know
One thing that perhaps I'm paying too much attention to.

They're space bugs so I think you're paying too much attention to it lol
These spiders are technically bugs and not arachnids, they have 6 legs!
Aye I see that, game calls them spiders anyway
Between this and Stationers, which one do you like more?

Aye
Dont build a H2O2 machine... that will kill you XD 38:30
=P
nice
Thanks!
im surprised they didnt have rhad make a ore scanner
I never intended to use the pod to scan for ores on the planet
Lol I still suicide myself on stuff playing this game. Usually when I'm in space with dampeners off doing 100 m/s.
Oh I do it too SPOILERS
Next episode
I love the series so far but going after an ore you not even set up to smelt just irks me
Not sure what you mean but sorry!
