- Shift Up introduces the world of Stellar Blade, where Eve, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, must protect the post-apocalyptic Earth from the Naytiba, an alien race that drove most of humanity away to a colony in another world. Stellar Blade releases on PS5 April 26, 2024.

its a trend that americans love to do. imagine how advanced out echnology is nowadays, but characters are prettier in the ps2 era. They keep making average looking women just to look REAL. Aloy, forespoken woman, the protagonist in battlefront 2, there's more but you get the idea. Just look at japanese devs. im sure you've seen how gorgeous Ada Wong is.

@@nightruler666 It's still coming to pc but at later date now. Shift up signed up for a 10 year contract with PlayStation recently to be a "2nd party" developer. Stellar Blade is coming to PS5 first now.

Shift Up's previous game, Nikke, shares a similar vibe with Stellar Blade (except for the enemies, a rather slumish environment as assumed in the underground city, and many else.) Along with a mix of a Nier atmosphere too. Jesus they improved so much it's heckin crazy.
I'll be looking forward to this game, it's quiet heat!

Yes, this is possible. The studio is small and it is easy to lure it with deals and money
It's made by the same dev studio behind Nikke, so they know what they're doing. Praying Sony didn't get in the way of them.

Project eve was just the code name until thay revealed the actual name remember Project athia then it turned into Forspoken.
Videogames have always been a form of escapism. It's supposed to be beautiful, and how else would a game best show it's glamor if not for its main character?

I'm curious about the game, interested, but... main character is called Eve, main male is Adam, and the support girl is Lili (which is really close to Lilith)... They're a little bit on the nose with the naming, aren't they?
