Building a pond & waterfall with tough access! From POOL to POND - Part 2

- From pool to pond - one of the coolest projects of 2023 was ripping out an existing pool and replacing it with a 20x40’ eco-system pond with a 25’ stream and waterfall, complete with a negative edge ending into a natural ravine, flagstone patios, hand-built bridge, and a sauna by Nootka saunas.
In this video, a huge log is placed with very difficult access, the waterfall & stream are designed, the wetland filter dug, and the oversized flagstone patios are cut in!

Really beautiful it looks massive just meandering around down the top edge of the hill 👍🏻
Thanks!
It's a pretty awesome setting!
Hello! Tell me, how do you calculate the speed of water movement through a swamp filter? Is it possible to calculate the pump power knowing the volume of the swamp filter? Thanks!
Hi there, it is not about the power of your pump but the amount of water in motion that dictates the size of your basin. John Adams from Modern Design Aquascapimg has a great video on it.
