I like these type of videos you make regarding tech and skills that are gonna be relevant in the coming years. As for AR you're absolutely right about the potential it has, and being a game developer myself it makes me really excited that the tools required for developing AR software are mostly in the game development space.
As a sidenote, I absolutely agree with you on mentioning Unreal and how powerful it is, and also you mentioned about Unity, which is a must as well. But bro come on you can't forget about Godot (though currently not very much ready for AR/VR). But anyways, a great video!
This is very true. I was a part of Varun's Unreal Engine Game Design Cohort, I've been working with UE for 2 years now. Companies are crazy for UE developers who can do AR and VR.
As Varun said, when computation can be done on cloud, UE will dominate in AR because of its lighting and rendering. Right now the only barrier is UE's heavy hardware requirements, soon it won't be the case.

In India, Jio is also developing AR glasses, Jio Glass which is being developed by Jio Tessaract. Also specially for AR/VR its Unity which has 70% market share.
Yes! Varun is absolutely right. AR space is much more diverse, accessible and useful. Even for education space we are exploring AR VR and Metaverse for making educational experiences better. Even educational softwares like cospaces are extremely popular these days among educators like us. :) Ajna is awesome too!

Yes, we can get things online for free but it won't be organised and we will mostly be able to only cover the surface and the creators have their own paid courses for a detailed study. So I think this would be more time efficient and we'll also have a mentor after we're done with it if we wanna start something of our own

Since it's self paced, you really need the will to be consistent with it but otherwise it's pretty good and really teaches everything in details
