Great review! I too jump back and forth between the pharaoh and emperor/destroyer type mold. I typically keep at least one of each in the bag depending on the course, conditions, and how strong I feel on the day. I keep the pharaoh in the bag for those pure distance shots. The emp/destroyer mold in the bag for strong hyZer finish or if the wind is up. I feel as tho both molds do their respected jobs well but not good enough to justify taking one out over the other. I typically keep a well season run 9 splatter pharaoh and a color glow star Philo destroyer or a swirly GG emp.in the bag.
Definitely a solid line up! I need to do a better job of adjusting my bag for how much practice I've gotten in recently hahah

Good deal, been waiting on this one. Went about how I expected. I recently got I Blend Pharaohs, and lord, when you get it right, they go a mile. I stuck with my splatter s blend pharaohs for max distance. It's hard because the I blend emps beaten in are absolutely fantastic. The other emps can handle overstable duties though. Haven't found a pharaoh that is overstable enough to cover an emp shot though
Yeah that’s my thing with the I blend pharoahs, when I hit them just right it’s incredible but that’s rare hahah

I love seeing the comparison. I really prefer the hand feel of the Emperor over Pharaoh, and I carry 3-5 of them for my distance shots. I have a really beat up I-blend that is for turnovers, a G-blend and a newer I-blend that are similar max distance (depending on how cold it is), a glow metal flake C-blend for huge headwind shots that I'm still trying to get straight distance, and sometimes either a halo or GG Swirly S blend for the windy Overstable slot. If you can't tell, it's my favorite distance driver. I'm also a fan of mold minimalization. (I do sneak in a Force when it gets tornado level wind, but I've heard a Slab could fill that slot too.)
Love this! That’s a great lineup. I think just a pure straight distance slot is the hardest to find in an emp, for me it was fresh I-blends but it doesn’t last long 😂
@@ursadg Thanks! That is one I'm working on with my Metal Flake Glow C-Blend, It generally goes deadstraight but has a nasty 50 ft skip, so I can't use it for that straight shot....yet! I-blend is fun because it's workable quickly, but then they do start getting unreliable.
G Star Emperors have replaced my pharaohs in my bag. Sooooo good.
I just got gifted a pharaoh. Im a lefty too. Im not big into OS discs especially the Destroyer. I was a big fan of the Maya beforehand, but the Pharoah immediately added 75 feet to my Maya lines.
that’s awesome! I agree the pharoah just has an extra head of distance for me as well, a little touchy but when you hit them rihjt they’re amazing
I threw a S blend Pharaoh for the first time last night and loved it. Has to be the most controllable 13 speed I have thrown

Love and bag both but agree on the pharaoh. Can’t play without one not in my bag. Love the splatter blend for the straight finish and distance.

I-Blend Pharaoh = Cash Money. So long, perfect narrow flex line, flips up nicely and doesn't flex too much, perfect driver.
