FSU and Clemson over played their hand. There is no "now" in expansion with the B1G nor the SEC. That may happen 5 years down the road but not now.

@@nathanknecht8024 I can see Notre Dame only because I can see them wanting to "stay independent" in football while arranging a scheduling alliance with the Big 12. That would still increase revenue without tying Norte Dame down and providing them with a similar sense of independence that they currently enjoy in the acc
Won’t happen. Especially Notre Dame. Notre Dame is going to the B1G if it goes anywhere. That’s not debatable. Also, the SEC and the B1G will have a say before the Big 12 just like they did with FSU and Clemson. The B1G and the SEC turned them down. Even if the Big 12 adds FSU and Clemson, they won’t be on par with the B1G and the SEC.

Well, if he use Oregon and Washington to get the fourth corner schools, he got screwed because Washington played for the national title last year and Oregon is a top five team this year. Bad strategy.

@@pascho1057 I 100% agree with you that Utah coming into this year is a better team than Washington, but I don’t know about Arizona. I’ll still take Washington’s history over both of those schools.
There is no way the SEC/BIG10 is going to allow the premier programs in the ACC to go to the BIG12. The P2 don't need to do anything at this time. Once FSU/CLEM, etc figure a way out. The invite will come. Those ACC teams are not going to fight their way out with hefty exit fees just to land in a Big12 with a mixed bag of middle PAC12 teams and former G5 teams.
ESPN & Disney are not going to renew their contract with the ACC after 2026-2027 season. That means everyone in the ACC will need to find a landing spot.
This is so ridiculous, but everything in the last 24 months of realignment has been outright ridiculous.

Because the ACC is so weak that their undefeated champ missed the playoffs. If they would've went undefeated in the Big 12, they would've made the playoffs.

Commissioner isn’t channeling money to smaller schools and cheating larger programs , commissioner is not pushing media contracts that benefit his children, stability, the list goes on…

if you take away florida state and clemson away from acc the only thing acc got in last 20 years is lamar jackson. take away oklahoma and texas from big 12 we would of still had rg3, patrick malhomes, graham harrell, crabtree those dez bryant oklahoma state teams, some good kansas state years. tcu had good years just too much texas football yall only got one texas school smu

1) Lousy contract of the ACC, 2) Big 12 is a national conference with its spine in the Central time zone, allowing inventory of games in 4 time zones, and allowing flexible geographic expansion, 3) Better leadership, 4) More stable
