Tortell Poltrona is a clown and founder of Clowns Without Borders. He is passionate about the clown profession and he thinks that the smile is a key element in the emotional support of children suffering the devastating effects of wars and natural disasters.
Tortell's talk will inspire to smile and to think about how a little gesture as a smile can generate enormous changes in someone life (and in ourselves).
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
