I have been doing all types of skid loader work since 2003. If anyone cares here is my thoughts. That is one of the coolest attachments for a skid loader ever so many useful features. You have made an attachment that could save lives and property and put out fires! But this unit does not look to fit wheeled skid loaders you have just lost 2/3 of the skid loaders market out there. I prefer wheels many more options, rubber tracks rubber tires they both burn. When I install my steel tracks its a bulldozer, I would think steel tracks would be the best. Lastly, I would run it with the door OFF, looks like you may be going out on to the attachment quite a lot anyway making adjustments. I have had issues with getting out of skid loader doors in the past and with no door I am out of there. A few embers would be better than an all-glass oven. Oh, I almost forgot, fairly common to have a high-pressure oil leak on this type of equipment (hoses blow) have you ever seen a fine mist of oil ignite? Scary I still want one I am guessing $38.000.00 Don't turn off the comments

Have you thought of using hi-vis safety tags or flags (unhook/hook them off or on) when adjusting a lever or removing some piece of important equipment, just unhook the necessary hi-vis safety tag and hook it to the open lip of the tool cover (so it can not close fully, until you remove the tag and put it back on the necessary lever or piece of equipment) label the tags or colour code them. Idea comes from watching military aircraft crews prep a plane by removing/ replacing red tags on aircraft before take off or after landing.
The tags could just hook to holes punched into the lip of the tool lid, it can't close when in place.

Hey, can you put the fire box on a JCB single arm skid steer with the side door I think that would alleviate a lot of the potential safety issues of having the box blocking your escape route.
