- With massive thanks to everyone for the music and the memories...
Originally inspired by Lisa @HWJ by her "Roots" weekend challenge, but there was no way I was doing this in a weekend though...
This started as a recording of a jam with an arp on the Roland System-100 Cloud vst, which is still there, unedited in the background in its entirety... and dictates the track length, otherwise this would have been 9:09 long... 😏
Roland TB-303 TR-606 & TR-909
303 filter from Ableton
Footage either stolen or donated by the reprobates involved, as it should be... 😘😉
The evolution of the UK free party scene from the free festivals of New Age Travellers...
News footage from a bunch of fascists who seem to think the biggest problem is that we "were living outside of the law" and "very difficult to control"
I don't even know where to start with that one...
Anyway...
Proper blessed.
Man, a killer track with perfect footage to fit!! Loved the clips you used for this, very freaking cool!!!! 🔥That ending was mint btw, the dude laying down, omg, great music video Pete!!!! 🙌🐀
Haha, I didn't think I appeared in any of the UK videos but there I am, tweaking something or other :D Wicked video and track Pete!
I must have spent hours editing this and totally missed you..!!! Cheers Jesse..!!
I love the free party scene, especially when the guys from back in the day get together, then it still has that punk attitude!
We are honoured brother Pete.
The honour is alllll mine bruv... I wouldn't be doing any of this now if it wasn't for spending so long listening to repetitive bars and loops muntered somewhere... ;-)
Pump da vibe and keep it alive..!!
So much energy, both in the film and the music, magnificent work! 🔊🔊🔊
Thanks Primitive, I'm glad you like it!

This is not the greatest acid track in the world, this is just a TRIBUTE.
YOU should be making a "documentary", if this doesn't already count !!!!!!! Killer authentic track !!!!
Oh yes, drugs and music and nakedness, that's scary stuff (to the people I want to keep away)...........
Nice one Paul, that's a great comment mate, thanks..! I never found it "scary", more "homely"... lol
fuck i missed all the nakedness. i must have had too many drugs...
I Have always preferred a warehouse over the outdoor festival scene. Nature and techno are cool but Techno and the industrial scene just before dawn is my heaven. Concrete level dance floor makes for more people to be able to get down. Every outdoor party I have been to the number one complaint from people is they have a hard time on the ground . For me the surface doesn't matter but I prefer a reactive style more then proactive on the floor. Great project ! Can't wait to see whats next! Cheers!
we lived on site so did both. warehouse parties are much harder to keep going for a week so rarely end up being free festivals whereas on site with 500 people the pigs cant do a fucking thing.
Thats a great way of looking at it Sunny..! I'm happy with either, exploring factories or getting lost in the woods..! Not actually lost lost, it's hard to miss a tonne of techno and lights...
@@leewhizzkid Warehouses are harder to light fires in without upsetting people... 😎😎

@@krsTBedfordStudios I enjoy both venue types and both have hosted some of my greatest experiences on the floor and in my head. The first time Daft Punk came to the states was at a little festival called Even Furthur in Wisconsin it rained and was cold but we had one hell of a time. For a few years some cats from mile high had the basement of Roy wilkins auditorium. Now this location will always be what i judge other against basically its a round parking garage with huge concrete footings from floor to cieling scattered around. they would bring 150,000 watts of sound down there "The Wall of Sound". Your eyes would shake in there sockets and deaf people could dance without missing a beat. At one party the took down the wall and scattered stacks all around and Threw down in surround sound its was like being inside the sound looking out vs ouside looking in. I forgot where i was going with this...LOL Been working on a banger when i have time which is never this time of year. the live concept recording and early sketch are up on my channel Walls Caving In I think you might like where its going. Cheers
Thanks for sharing, my friend !!!
That was intense! That video footage and your tune - excellent!
Cheers Michael... after hearing a few of your tracks I guess this is pretty much up your street!
Came for the video, stayed for the music. And the video.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it,much appreciated!
Very dope track, loving the old school vibes!
Thank you!
it seems like they had some fun there :)
The visuals and your tunes are fitting so geniusly cool together that’s a dope production!
Wicked track and video Peetie. I miss them days x
Thanks Shevy, and init..!! X
Awesome !!!+++
Yessssss the good old days 🤣🙌🙌🙌💗
Haha I thought you might like this... 🤣🤣😉
Like it mate. Must of took a bit of time putting that together!? Good tune. Which of the 303 clones you using in that? Sounds spot on.
That's the Roland Cloud TB-303 O... ACB I think, same as the boutique and the TB-3 (and System-8) I can't fault their ACB stuff, it's mind bogglingly good..! Check out the Cloud trial on their site, I've been in awe of it tbh and I'm not usually a fan of Roland or DAWs, despite now using mostly Roland gear for pretty much everything, they're still price fixing thieves... 😉😉
@@krsTBedfordStudios do they run on linux? this is Lee btw
Figured it was..!
I don't think so mate which has always pissed me off...
I didn't use Windows for ten years but then found myself needing to buy a Windows machine just to be able to update my hardware... its really narrow thinking by the manufacturers...
It's always possible though? Do you use LMMS?
the track is boss bro!
Nice one mate..! I really enjoyed this one..!
i live there :) true
Top one Pete nice one its Acidddddddddddd so cool
Cheers our kid..! Glad that toy enjoyed it!! 😉
Quality .
