As the recording engineer for Moody church, I can say that performances like these are what keep my blood flowing and interest in continuing the work here. Thanks for the comments and please pray that works like this will continue in the future. The pull these days is to go more and more "contemporary" (secular) and we may soon lose great moments of praise like these. This was an updated and expanded arrangement by Gerald Edmonds of his original classic Holy, Holy, Holy arrangement. Gerald was music director at the church from about 1980 through the 2010. He has a real gift in arranging and conducting! And... a GREAT heart for the Lord.
Thanks for your comment! I hope and pray that Moody Church will continue this beautiful tradition of sacred and classical music. Loved Dr. Edmonds (still do :)! And, I LOVE to the hear the pipe organ there, thanks to Dr. Satre!
@@rdjaeggi2856 Yes. Call Moody Church. He was also director of Moody Chorale for many years at Moody Bible Institute. They may be able to get is to you.
Wonderful to listen to. Moody Bible Institute has done a outstanding job of training men and women in God's Holy Word. May the Lord bless this school and the many like it who have remained true to the Bibical standards and belief in the inspired Word of the Living God. Amen!
The Golden Rule: Do to others as you would have them do to you. Luke 6:31 The Two Greatest Commandments:Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.Mark 12: 30-31
While I wholeheartedly agree with you about MBI, and while the school's music groups joined the church choir on this occasion, I'd like to point out this is the Moody Church Choir at a church concert. While MBI and Moody Church are certainly friendly with each other and were founded by the same man, they are two different organizations with no legal connections outside of both belonging to the body of Christ.
Is it Possible to somehow send Pastor Lutzer a letter or contact him in any way? I have been so blessed upon reading the book he wrote "10 lies about God". I'm from Asia and i just want to thank him and stuff :) God bless Pastor Erwin Lutzer.
The conductor, Gerald Edmonds. Former long time director of the Moody Chorale at Moody bible Institute and music director at The Moody Church in Chicago. Most of his arrangements are available. I believe at one time someone was supposed to pick them all up. He's an amazing arranger and choral director.
Si Lees esto que Dios te bendiga a ti y a today tu familia
If only we could have such beautiful music in our lukewarm cherches!!!
Thank You! It’s been years since I have seen in Moody Church! This brings back great memories ❤
Glory be to God

I have listen lots of choir and orchestra play this song but this arrangement is different and its brilliant.
Praise God for the ministry of Mr. Edmonds! One of my heroes.
Yes witnessing the holy holy holy
Some of the best choir recordings I have found on UA-cam always end with someone coughing right at the end of the song! 😒😤
The BANE of recording engineers!
