Agr inj ampicillin available na ho to kaun si inj lagayenge
DIGVIJAY SINGH Good morning Digvijay. You can use any Cephalosporin available in the facility like Inj Ceftriaxone. But we should always start with Inj Ampicillin because most bacteria are usually susceptible. Higher antibiotics par tabhi shift hona chahiye if there is no response to initial antibiotics.

I had PPROM 36hours back and m at 30weeks gestation and as I am writing, I'm undergoing antibiotics and ANCS but they didn't put me on mgso4.
They did P/V and after that proceeded for ultrasound as soon as I complained about leaking and I'm worried about infection. My AFI was somewhere between 10-12 cm.
I don't have fever, cramps, leak or anything you mentioned for monitoring yet....
Should I be worried madam?
Trust your doctor. They would know what they are doing. My videos are meant for the medical students and practitioners and not for the population at large 😊. Internet medicine is the most dangerous of all medicines for all non-medicos !
What should be the minimum level of amniotic fluid in PPROM?
Chorio amniotic sepsis se match karta hai?
Chorioamnionitis is an important cause of maternal sepsis if it is left untreated and if the baby is not delivered immediately

DIGVIJAY SINGH Chorio- amnionitis May lead to septic shock in which IV fluids are required for management. Otherwise there is no role of IV fluids in a routine case of leaking.
