Sorry about that. Its just being a small channel you have to have catchy titles, youtube is a tough game . And sometimes people do want know if something is worth their money in todays terms or thry go for alternatives.
@@SuperSlackOff I totally understand and it’s your channel and your own rules, UA-cam algorithm + catchy tittles really works, but if you want loyal subscribers , just be yourself and you’ll succeed!
Great video. Thank you for the comparison with the xt20. I have the xt20 (purchased recently) with a few lenses including the 27mm which compares a lot in size to the x100v. I really really want the x100v bcs of the weather resistance and better AF, but it’s so expensive in comparison and don’t know if I can justify having both when I’m not a pro and don’t even take that many photos as a hobby. I use it mostly for family documenting.
@@SuperSlackOff thanks. Good to hear that about the quality and performance. I just see everywhere online and on UA-cam comments from people who have shot years with Fuji and say that once they tried the x100v, it was eye opening, or just a great experience they’ve had only with that camera, and I don’t understand how it can be different.
We get too hung up on Gear Acquisition Syndrome. I am guilty of it. To be honest my 5D mark 1 of 14 years old takes better pictures than x100v or any crop sensor. Fuji just made things retro and fun, thats all, behemoth DSLRs kept getting bigger and bulkier. Having a fuji feels fun and light adventure.
If Fuji incorporated IBIS in an updated version, wouldn't they have to sacrifice some compactness, one of the X100's main selling points. Also with its decent higher iso image quality enabling faster shutter speeds in low light, does the X100 really need IBIS ?
Good review. Ordered it today, my major reason against buying it is price, but at least I can't buy new lenses :) Other than that I would possibly prefer 40mm equivalent lens (it's fine on Panasonic GF1), but I can crop photos and I wonder how fast I will get used to completely different menu system and button layout. Other minor issue is that it's pocketable, but it gets bigger with tiny upgrades such as filter adapter, protective/uv filter, lens cap or lens hood and I would like to have some grip and thumb rest to make it more convenient.
You will get used to it no time. But yes, ascessories will make it bigger. Then one would think Sony a7 line full frame sensor options in the same size. I havent added any ascessories because of that , keeping it as is, getting myself accustomed to it rather than customizing it to fit my needs. Anyway, good luck with the purchase, leave me a link to photos when you get used to it.
Yeah, this camera is Panasonic GF1+20mm/f1.7 upgrade for me towards smaller size. I will stay with μ43 system, but as I bought new lenses and bodies, I somewhat lost fun, it became a tool and using it is challenging only in specific situations.
@@SuperSlackOff and i'm sorry for my violent comment but it's true that this kind of title annoys me. A camera that came out in 2020 is not outdated one year later.
What is the name of that small pouch that you show at the beginning?
Just a regular chinese cloth bag, name is " gamou music"
I really hate those videos titles like “worth it in 2021” lol camera came out last year , cameras don’t have a expiration date.

XT-20 is fine, you dont need a x100v. There is no justifiable upgrade on image quality or performance.

Personally, I would wait for X100VI and use X-S10 or X-T4. Fujifilm will put the new battery and IBIS into their newer bodies in the future.
The image stabilization would really come in handy for vidoes.

Is it a joke? Enough of these stupid questions!
