I just bought my 125 cf7 and I love it. Here in Mexico youll find those terrains, cactuses, roots and so on and its perfect. You don't need the 160 (or more) travel. Plus I have also a commencal meta (the 160 mm travel) and thats why I can say this, the cf7 its my dream Bike 😍
I love it, I have to say super surprised. After 20 years in the biz and being also a tech mtb guide...this is the first time it really hit me the geometry is what it is all about. Smashing tech sections I know by hart and ready for the boom...and this long wheelbase and head angle etc...just compensate for the short travel...so you get great pedaling machine with great downhill machine...just love it
Yeah it's crazy how the stiff frame, head angle and wheelbase really gives you confidence on downhill sections that other shorter travel bikes would feel sketchy on!
Hells yes bro, I just bought the same bike, hopefully I’ll like it. I had a trek roscoe 7 and a Santa Cruz chameleon hard tail! Can’t wait for the spectral!🤙🤙
Sorry for this post to all of those who bought the 125 before the sale that I just took advantage of......got the 125 CF8 for $1200 off. That's $900 less than the CF7 is currently priced! It's still in the mail but damn, all of you having great experiences with the CF7 is inspiring and I can't wait for my new bike! If you purchased a CF8 within the last 30 days, Canyon will refund you the $1200......so reach out to them, great company!
Nice bike! And nice how you ride this kind of terrain. Why did you choose for the 125 and not the full spectral on this gnarly terrain? I’m de considering both spectrals.
I chose the 125 mainly because I feel that 90% of the trails that I ride don't really require 160mm of travel its usually just a couple of bigger features where its nice to have the extra travel. This bikes easier to climb, faster rolling and I find it more fun to ride than longer travel bikes. It's also quite progressive so I don't bottom out the suspension that often.
@@truemtb41 Nice! Thanks for your answer. Keep making UA-cam videos! I’m sure you will have a lot more viewers soon! Especially when you talk at the start and the end of the video.
This place looks super fun! Great riding man!

Awesome video! I love how your camera captured all the elevation changes and landings/hits as well as sense of speed. Subbed!
Thanks!
I bought my Spectral 125 CF8 just 3 months ago. Untill now: what a great bike. Hope it is (almost) as capable as my old YT jefsy.

Awesome ride. My new 2022 Spectral 125 CF7 was delivered today. Fantastic bike!
That's Sweet! such a fun bike
I have 125 CF9. It's amazing. Nice video :)
Thumbs up for video! 😊
hello, can you tell me how much sag you have in the back? just ordered the bike and I don't want to bottom out
I run it about 25% but I’m thinking about getting some volume reducers to stop it from bottoming out so frequently
@@truemtb41 thanks

Thinking about buying but i do alot of climbing, how does it doat climbing?
Its the best climbing bike I've ever had, way more efficient than higher travel enduro bikes
