It amazes me, that in blinding snow, in the dark, you can find the trails even when they are drifted over. Mountain roads are scary enough in great weather, but covered in snow they are so dangerous. Great job Dave and crew!
You know what amazes me? In all these recoveries the people have been sitting by the vehicle for hours waiting for help and couldn’t at least have the snow around it dug out before they got there to recover it lol.
@@NovemberFoxtrotRC Think they said they didnt have service at the vehicle so likely had no idea when they would arrive... thus no reason to waste energy that might be needed if they arent found or something... just a litle theory
18:04 Just a tip for when you are towing vehicles in deep snow or mud, rather than connecting to a single off center pulling point (this caused the vehicle being towed to slew to the side opposite from the tow point), create a bridal that is connected to both pulling points (tow hooks in this case), then connect the pull rope/cable/chain to the center of the bridal. This will keep the vehicle being towed centered behind the tow vehicle.
As someone that lives in Australia, in an area where it doesn't snow and at 39 yo I have never seen snow, I LOVE watching your winter recoveries, some if the drone shots as you were making your way out and the snow was sparkling like it had glitter in it was just magical. I loved it, thanks team 💋
You're not missing much with regards to snow Jessica. I'm from the uk and our winters are generally cold wet and miserable. Fresh snow is a beautiful sight to wake up to, but its beauty is short lived. Once walked on or driven on the snow compacts into solid and treacherous ice. Then eventually, the snow and ice starts to thaw. And that's the worst part of the cycle cos the once pure and white beautiful snow is filthy dirty and icy dirty water covers the land in its place. I wish I was 39 and lived in Australia having never seen snow before.
I'm Australian and I spent last winter in Tasmania, in the south, so if you want to see some snow head down to Tassie for a winter holiday. Beautiful place, very friendly and lots of Air BnB.
@@seanworkman431 That sounds lovely, unfortunately travel is not really an option for me at the moment, but hopefully one day 😊. Thank you for the recommendation, I appreciate that.
That was one of the finest outtakes I've ever seen on a video whether it be produced for a movie or a TV show or anything when that snow cat was going down that trail and all you see is the horizon at the end of this video that was beautiful, and the music fit the scene perfectly. This was an outstanding editing job.
I'm 49 years old. This show is better than any other show I've ever seen. I just became aware of these guys, a couple of days ago and I'm burning through their playlists. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another excellent recovery guys. That little machine is beautiful for getting through deep snow which was pretty evident from your video. I’m sure the guy and family who were stranded appreciated all of your hard work. 👍👍🇨🇦
Hiya! 73 year old fella from UK. Good, clean, down to earth show. Can do, will do sort of approach and thanks for the respectable language. Camera work excellent, especially drone footage . Looking forward to the next.😊😊
No other words except your a Hero! And a damn good Man for doing what you do for these stranded people and for no cost to them everytime. It’s nice to see people that actually care about there communities and the other people that reside in them.
Another great snow recovery. Just amazing how quick the snow can pile up there and catch people off guard. That little snow cat has a ton of power that is for sure!! Love all your recovery vlogs!!
I'm Minnesota. Born and raised. I love all of the seasons. There's greatness to be found in all. That being said, spring is my favorite. When the tulips pop, that means we made it through the worst of it and the cold days are dwindling and we now are rewarded with a few months of greatness...and mosquitoes.
I love winter with snow Heavy D. I am from Ohio living in Delaware and old. Wanting to move back to Ohio just for the snowy winters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this rescue and watching you guys do your thing. Thank you for this amazing SNOW Rescue. This is one to rewatch for me. 🕊️❄️⛄️🏂❄️⛄️

I'm more of a winter guy. But i like spring and fall. About 30yrs ago a bunch of buddies and I had gone mudding up behind the capital in Salt Lake City. We all had chevy S-10's and had the best time of our life's. It was raining and my buddy and I had gone over and couldn't get back over the mountain and ended up in an old mining area that we got stuck in as there was an 8 ft fence all around us. But that was the best time that we all have ever had together and one that I will never forget and always cherish. As my befriend is no longer with us. R.I.P Mark Ballif. Happy Thanksgiving! Y'all have a beautiful day with your peeps! Thank you for sharing and IMO I enjoy watching how Y'all use your resources to hopefully get whatever mission you are on completed! Plus it is kinda like I got to go play in the snow without getting cold and wet! Ha!
Usually here in N-B Canada when we go out in the winter we use to put the tire from 2 to 10psi in the tire for maximum grip, and just saying , if you use 2 sling (rope) instead of one the truck won't try to go off track, if that can help for future recovery 👍 and for the question summer or winter i kind of like them both but my favorite is definitely fall haha

Much of the time they do make up a bridle, not sure why not this particular job. Definitely would've made for a straighter and little bit easier pull.
Very true where I live we used this method for 100s of years, with our husky teams hauling wood and food and people from town to town in -50°c
Could easily see the additional resistance from passenger side had to plow more deep snow.
yeah, that’s similar to having a tow bar hooked to the front of the truck, just not as solid and stable as a tow bar
