Sure this sold but has all the looks of bulkhead failure @7:02 both sliding door leans to port with sliding window leaning to starboard due to floor dipping across the about 3-4 inches in the center. When closed there is a 2" gape at the bottom. Again @5:47 Likely reason it was left that way is because it had already reach max adjustment. Door leaning 1 1/2 " @6:46 Likely $75-100K repair involving removal and replace 60% of the interior.
boat salesmen/women are WORSE than car sales people as your LIFE. , actually depends on what your told , bit different with a car and the motor is stuffed ,you can get it fixed , out in the middle of the pacific is a bit different , with all these adverts for yachts for sale they never go under the floor to show the Bulkheads .... wonder why !!
Good luck selling a Lagoon 450 now that buyers are aware of the rampant cracked bulkhead problem. They are offering a discount because if the bulkheads are cracked then the entire boat will have to be gutted to repair it.
We appreciate your comment. We have recorded a bunch of walkthrough videos with Staley, you may want to watch some of them at this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLj9yNT3NfN0AsJGQbqu0G_rgfaSwDejMJ.html
People have to be really stupid to pay this much for this boat with a massive design flaw in the bulkhead design. Even without the bulkhead issue, paying 553K on a major depreciating asset like this boat is just stupid.
It's going to be a challenge to sell this boat despite it's excellent condition. No one wishes to knowingly purchase a major repair without the assurance of a complete redesign hull refit and price to match. And that's sad because this is otherwise a great boat.
Feel bad for anyone that gets suckered into buying this model boat, BUYER BEWARE please do a little digging before buying Lagoon specifically this model.... #BulkheadFail #3hourtour #DontDie #HopeYouCanSwim #DesignFlaw #LemonLaw #HopeYouLikeFiberglassWork #AllWorkNoPlay
great preparation of the boat and video tour! the 450 was having a “bulkhead bad buzz” the past months. Nevertheless for your info, lagoon did recently (begin 05/2021 ) organize a free”check and repair” procedure . for a boat in such good condition , you should contact the closest lagoon dealer to get this survey passed prior any sale.
@@RechargeableLithium don’t mix inspection with repair... for inspection only glued wood corner furniture has to be taken away : ua-cam.com/video/izL3elxRIb4/v-deo.html for repair ok , you have to cut out square meter of panel (see “parley revival” as a exemple.....) and as i said the 450 is having a bad buzz....confirned by dozen a 450 having bulkhead issue, but on the other hand this model is having one of the largest nautical miles records within charter fleet.... as allways no white or black statement, but this model need special investigation on second hand market.
@@damientelle Yeah, I've been watching Colin and crew at Parlay Revival, and others. It's looking like there's a class action in the making. Need more than just a square meter removed, mate, unless one has a long and steerable borescope, I guess. I wouldn't touch anything from Lagoon with someone else's 10'/3m pole.
@@damientelle PS - the interiors are assembled outside the hulls - the interior is more than "glued wood corner' - it's tabs and slots and hidden screws. While *some* areas can be inspected through inspection ports, significantly more must be removed to access and inspect both sides of the mast bulkhead, for example.

Hi Patrick, this boat has in fact sold already. Please get in touch with Staley Weidman so he can tell you about other similar boats for sale. You can reach him at staley@catamarans.com
Very good eye. We were there recording and didn't notice that detail. If you want to see more of Staley's walkthroughs, we put together a playlist that has them all: ua-cam.com/play/PLj9yNT3NfN0AsJGQbqu0G_rgfaSwDejMJ.html
Looks like words getting out about Lagoons and cracked bulkheads and their unwillingness to help customers who own them. The sad part is Lagoon has a chance to make things right before they sink and become Lagoon no more. No one will touch them now for the price they are asking. Thanks to Sailing Parlay Revival for letting the public know.
Lagoon is a dog of a boat. Don't buy one. They sail like chit, are cheaply built, disaster waiting to happen. Ok, if you just want to motor around in protected waters. Maybe.
Have you inspected the bulkheads behind the wood work?
*First BULKHEAD Cracks from the Trampoline Leak that soaks directly to the Bulkhead FACTORY Defect from Lagoon look up Parley's misery.*

Finally, someone who knows how to show a boat for a "real" purchase decision! Well done

You did not mention the Bulkhead Lagoon issue. Now you have to explain the problem in your videos.

Good luck in selling that boat for anything but a distress price. Show us the bulkheads! Nice boat if you can get it for
Has you Bulkheads been inspected

The surveyor would have to take the boat apart to find the problems - good luck with that.

Cracked bulkhead. Doors don't line up. Avoid the 450... Learn from Parley Revival and many others posting on yt.
OH HELL NO!!! Check the bulkheads..Lagoons RACK AND CRACK!!!!
Lagoon 450 is like a 5 year old Range Rover or BMW. Sell it and let it become someone else's problem.
That is excessive high praise!
It a shame that Lagoon didn't use the fiberglass from one of those fancy built-ins on their bulkheads and carrier beam....
Nice showing..... interesting boat for sure!
We thank you for watching, and don't forget to subscribe to our channel to be notified of new releases.
Great description ...I’m on the lookout for something like this in New Zealand
Watch parley survival on UA-cam before you spend your money 🤔😎🇬🇧

Garage kept and grandmother only drove it to church and back on Sundays.
What can we say? Grandma liked her road trips.
Pretty sure I'm not buying a 450 anytime soon...the Parley has me seriously reconsidering
.. peace
I’d take it for free.
This would be the last boat I would buy. It's not if it has problems it's when. The price is going to drop and drop and drop.

We completely agree.
Never Buy a Lagoon,,,
