Cobblestone… tough course… even tougher when wet! Not a big Performance golf fan, but I am trying this club… for what it is, doesn’t look too bad behind the ball. The one shot I’ve hit out of trap came out nice and soft and fairly good trajectory. Keep up the good work👍🏻
Completely agree and I said in the video it would have been tough regardless of the wedge. But again, on the PG website for the One Wedge go look at their "soggy ground" picture. The club design plays a small role, but technique (or lack of in my case) will always win. Cheers!
Thank you for the excellent review. I was looking into these but will look closer at the Cleveland Smart Soles...Also in the running are the C3i, Xe1 and the Square Strike wedges...and thoughts on those?
Essentially they are trying to achieve the same thing and probably perform relatively the same for chip, pitch shots, etc. I would still be concerned with full swings and I think a company like Cleveland would be most likely to get it right across all areas. Cheers!
I don't like the one wedge. I am a high handicap golfer. I have used this club for about a month now. The bounce can bounce off the ground (depending on the turf and its texture); so hitting the ground is not sufficient. When it bounces the leading edge will strike the ball at the equator. When this happens you get a low zinger which skips off the green. I have also chunked it. It actually has not solved any of my key problems and is not the panacea they claim it to be. I also have lost about 20 yds of distance on full swings, forcing me to use other clubs when really I should be using a sand wedge.
Just so everyone knows, the guy who runs performance golf spent time in prison for running a ponzi scheme. So if you think any of there stuff isnt a scam you are probably wrong.
One Job!!!! Hit the SUBSCRIBE button. Haha, cheers everyone!

Thank you for giving an unvarnished review on this wedge!
Thanks for your unbiased review.
Glad it was helpful! Cheers!
Like this on course review format. Good video!
Appreciate it! Cheers!
Thanks for the review. That said, no club is chunk proof if you hit 6 in behind the ball on wet ground

Totally agree, cheers!
It seems to work from what I see
Works fine enough but the drop off on full swing shots just doesn’t do it for me. Cheers!
