@@jhc1229 I actually ended up doing this exact setup on mine but with square tips, and the cabin drone is almost non existent. The car is loud as hell from outside but inside is just a bit louder than stock with a different tone. Audis sound insulation is amazing.
I have a6 with 3.0t. These engines dont like muffler deletes lol. Sounds raspy and drony no matter what you do. Best thing you can do is replace center pipe with magnaflow 11385/11386 and add b8/b8.5 s4 mufflers but thats about it.
Me as well I've looked into an ABT Tuning exhaust with valves, it is resonated I believe, and has new mufflers that should be quite a bit louder when they are open and quiet when they are closed. Sadly I can't find good videos with this exhaust.
Hello. Did you feel any difference between comfort and dynamic?? I’m thinking do same thing but I don’t want sound like that all the time. Thanks 🙏🏼 Nice ride 🔥
Dynamic you will hear the exhaust the whole time you drive on the gas but in comfort you only hear the exhaust when you are actually on the gas. When you cruise you don’t really hear much
yellowssm I had a shop in Denver do all the work and they provided me the X-Pipe. I think you can buy one yourself for like $150. The whole setup cost me about $600
@@andrewjaxe399 Hey I replaced the suit case resonators with just two straight pipes but im worried about back pressure so i might eventually redo it and put an x-pipe in. As for the mufflers im looking to delete them and just add a straight pipe similar to yours but the only issue or concern i have is the muffler shop doing a good job because i know the valved system is complex. Would the muffler shop just have to normally cut the mufflers then disconnect the valved system? I understand it throws a soft code once the valved system is taken off.
@@ArRmAnDo14 back pressure is not an issue because this motor has turbos providing more than enough. Yes it will throw a code for exaust flaps missing. Any tune (unitronic, apr) will stop it from throwing a code.
Ichi DaKilla I have cutouts on my 2016 S6 and there is crazy drone, which is why I elected to do cutouts over just straight piping. I can close my cutouts and it’s quiet with no drone.
@@maxdrelinger What brand cutouts and where did you mount them? Flush mount or Y-pipe? Did you replace the front resonators or suitcase with them? Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of room under there for cutouts.
Holy crap! I found it! I bought your S6 in October. Love this beast. Thanks for setting the exhaust up right!!
So this setup does sound as good as it seems? Thinking about doing it on my s6
How is the cabin drone?

@@AngelRodriguez-ve5lq haha no way?! Thanks man. Where were you at?
Just did this to my s6 and its the perfect balance of sport car sound w/ luxury 💯
The exhaust tips...why.
Lol
Why would you put those exhaust tips on an Audi LOL... other than that sounds fantastic
What’s wrong with them? LOL
Shut ur stupid ass up
Shut your face bro
Looks jdm
@@luisroman3774 they’re exhaust tips lmao how can they look jdm?
Excellent comparison video. Sounds banging 😍
Is that decal remnant under the S6 badge bothering anyone else? That would be removed and goo gone cleaned ASAP.
Love this! Sounds amazing. I'm trying figure out what to do to my S6.
Awesome video... love the sound of this S6. Sounds similar to the 2013 RS5. Please post and share the parts of the upgrade. Thanks
hey do you have alot of drone , i just did this on my a6 3.0 and it kinda droney couldn't really notice it in video .

That's it! That's it right here
I'm not sure if I do this with my S7. I'm afraid of hitting the road and have a drone effect or being too loud.

This sounds awesome
not very loud sound if you go on a long journey along the highway? I mean the sound is not tired?
Yeah it’s not bad at all. Not much of a drone when cruising

Did the active exhaust wires just in plug? Did I’m you need to do anything with them once they were off?
Is it worth getting a 2013-14 A6 for like 23-25 thousand dollars with 70-85k miles?
S K got my 2016 a6 (3.0t) for 21 thousand before taxes with 40k miles from a dealer, so yeah i wouldnt pay that much lol
Michael oh Damnn thanks by the way
No it’s not
I’ve got a 2014 a6 with a full army trix system and a stack of Audi service records too if you’re interested
How's the drone in the cabin at highway cruising speeds?
There’s no drone tbh
How did you calibrate the VCDS? Any variance in performance?
Did your turbos fail like mine and thousands of others?
no
are the resonators still installed?
Nice tips, sounds good too. But you know the are put on wrong way.
Anybody try this setup with APR stage 2 with APR down pipes? I’m worried it will be crazy loud.
Where did you get the exhaust stuff from
How much did this cost you? Where did you get the xpipe?

Slight drone at highway speeds at first, but if you recalibrate the Active Noise Cancellation through VCDS, it goes away almost completely

Exhaust tip size?
