    I like to write down the steps to a solution. If I get stuck, I look up the steps rather than the complete solution. This way, I can understand and solve the issue myself, rather than relying on someone else's code. It's not that I mind if others do that, but it's just not for me.

    Having just been introduced to coding, I really enjoyed this video. The trident method is something I need to do! I feel that was the missing link of "how do I get the text to do the thing". Would love if you were able to do more videos aimed at 5 year olds wanting to code 😂

    that's a great method!
    it is very easy to jump into code only to find out you have overcomplicated the solution and spent way more time

    how did you manage your coding classes with your math classes. I am about to take CS1 along with differential EQ for the summer and i feel like I will be stuck doing practice problems and homework all day for just those two classes. I know its not easy but i also want to complete some projects and learn other languages so any advice?

      honestly, the more practice you do, the better you get. You might be working super hard at the beginning of the summer, but over time you get better so you actually spend less time
