    It’s crazy how 6 string basses are kinda reaching into guitar territory with the whole chord accessibility thing.
    I dig that wood. It’s perfect.

    Very beautiful song....I put my 6 string bass on a stand like that and it was cool until my bass fell off it. Any advice on how to keep my bass in that stand.

    This video is great. Inspired me to get a 6 string bass, as well as reverb and delay pedals. I had always wanted them, but didn't know if they'd be practical. Still not sure about practicality, but knowing things like this are possible makes me not care. Great work!

    So I went out and purchased a used Ibanez BTB. Wow it is hard to play that part at 2:14 on a 35" scale neck! I bet the stand helps to get your hand in there and bridge those last two strings.

      Hello Sean,
      I always put delay before reverb. I find that the reflections of the delay give a little bit more depth in the reverb. Typically, the only pedals I am using are delay and reverb. In this particular example, I believe I went through the EHX freeze then into the looper and then into the delay /reverb. Hope that helps. Happy holidays to you.

      Hello Jim, strymon has a lower cost reverb that is great called the blue sky. I also have a friend with the MXR M300 which sounded nice. I also use a stereo delay.

      TheLeftundone I have switched from the ditto loopers over to the boomerang a couple years ago. The boomerang has a much cleaner sound and better quality construction.

    Hey Damian........back with another Question........I know we've been talking about some gear and such........I have been eyeballing the Strymon OB.1 Optical Compressor & Clean Boost Pedal......any experience with this one.......is it a Compressor AND a Boost Pedal and your Thoughts.....?

      Brian, it is a very transparent compressor IME and it also can provide some gain/boost. I use it often. I used it extensively on my albums 'Waves of Spring' and 'Trial By Light'.

      password 69 hello, thank you. I would have to analyze it and report back. I practice modes and scales with focus on major and harmonic minor regularly. However, when I am writing, I never think in terms of modes or any theory, I think only in terms of melody and the sounds I hear in my head and from the bass. It’s just like singing.

      Rice Panday I would look for a peavey cirrus, they are well made, sound great and play well. Great used prices too. Good luck on your 6 string journey!
