Thank you for the video. Now I can send this link to racers who think I'm considering cheating since I purchased an FT550 for my 10 second bracket car. I'm currently installing it now and I'm amazed at the tech support I receive while installing it👍🏻 BTW Fueltech is a concern among bracket racers. But no one wants to talk about MSD grid and slew rate. Hmmmm.
@@chaddickey5424 Hey Chad, Unfortunately we do not install at our facility however going through the Advanced Factory Training once you have the system installed is a great way to learn about the ins and outs of using the FT system on your vehicle!
Andre, Thanks for this Bracket racing video! I had to watch it a few time to take in all the information! A question popped up in ref to NHRA rules for 2021. What is the new change going to be ? NHRA accepting the active traction control for .90 Class racing? I would assume that the firmware version would be new from Fuel Tech then. My thoughts on conversion from carb to FI is the way to go to maximize consistency. I eventually want to install a full Fuel Tech FI conversion with throttle linkage stop along with throttle body. Eliminate distributor and utilize full coil on plug system. Thanks for your time!
hi Fueltech / Andre , would it be possible to have a sportsman no box firmware , that could incorporate a simple Throttle Stop Timers ? in the U.K. we don't allow delay boxes in our bracket classes. so to run super pro and super comp you need to find a way of disabling the box. we're planning a new build dragster in a few years and the plan so far was to run a simple Dedenbear T-Stop controller with the basic dials for two timers with a switch to disable it for running in super pro. with a switch panel that had built in dial board controller. would it be possible to have a version of the firmware that just had the basic T-Stop control with easy disable function ? and dial board functionality ? it would make the wiring and dash area much much cleaner if we had this functionality on say a FT450 ?
Bia noite! Acompanho todos os canais da fueltech e do TK e Macchina, sugiro que coloquem legendas para pessoas que assim como eu entendem pouco ou até nada de inglês.
Where does this tech inspection and/or race promoter that's trying to put everyone's minds at ease reside? Not in this world. I've never had anyone check anything on my cars concerning this and I've never seen anyone really concerned about it either. The last 20 cars are of no more concern to these guys than the last 2 cars and no one gets checked after a win. As long as your car shows no weird anomalies during a run its fine BUT the cars are so consistent now anyway that the changes made by the computer probably wouldn't be noticed on the track at all. It could make a great car a super car. A guy could easily use the traction control software at any race and get away with it most if not all of the time as long as his/her car was very consistent to begin with. Your assurance that no one will use this to cheat does not calm any skepticism or fear I have in anyway. It only adds to the realization that when you go to big money bracket races you are simple cannon fodder or a back marker for those that do cheat. You might as well donate the money to your favorite charity. I'm sure this is a great product but its also only asking for trouble too.
I agree one hundred million percent ,there’s guys that in my opinion definitely are cheating with these systems, things are going on in bracket racing that is humanly impossible the grid systems are doing it and should not be allowed in any pro or super pro cars, it’s out of control, and Nhra has nothing to do with these money races

Does Fuel Tech do installations at their facility in Atlanta?
If not, Proline just may. They are in the same industrial park.
Hey Chad, we have the Advanced Factory Training on our Hub Dyno. Please check the details www.fueltech.net/products/advanced-dyno-training
FuelTech USA So, your answer to my post is if I sign up for the Advanced training course. Training along with the install to get maximum benefit?

Will the ft550 still control your dial board in the sportsman no box setting?
Great video but why is there a K&R Delay box still in the car ? Awesome stuff...
For the dial board, but now they have a built one in now with their own dial board
Se tem vídeo do TK tem like!!!!
