This song is written about my counter-part in this project, Ben. But not just Ben.
See, something I never really had was a huge relationship with one of my grandparents. I was fortunate enough to have one until I was 16, that I saw pretty regularly growing up, but that was it, really.
One thing I always admired about Ben was the bond he had with his grandpa. Anyways, Ben has never had a problem with saying "no", or "maybe later". But when it comes to hanging out with his grandpa, he always makes the time. Whether that's going out to eat, or playing golf with his 88 year-old best friend, there's always time.
This song doesn't really have a deeper meaning, but more so, a realisation thag I had one day, and thought it was worth chatting about."
