- Descriptive video following the various steps I went through when taking apart, cleaning, priming and painting my calipers on the GT350.
I used VHT high temp primer, paint and clearcoat.

Finally a video on VHT paint caliper worth watching; phenomenal work and thank you for the information!
Beautiful! Thanks
Looks good man, nice video!
How has the paint held up on the calipers? Can I send you mine on my GT350 to do, lol.
nice job. Can I ask you what type of grease did you use to re-install the pistons?
How long after did you put them in the oven after painting your last coat?
Is curing in a household oven safe? Doesn't seem like it to me.
Which clear coat did you use? it seems they only have a satin clear coat and yours looks glossy
VHT gloss high temp clear.
Which VHT primer ?
Why not just paint the caliper whole (with exceptions of using masking tape to mask off certain rubber parts etc) view ChrisFix’s video, he did it whole. Just wondering the difference? Is it for look?
I haven't seen Chris's video but kinda see what you mean. I think it's just faster the way he does it, but then you don't get a very good paint coverage behind things like the bleed screws and the crossover piping. My car goes on track and the calipers see some very hard braking, so if the paint isn't applied equally everywhere, it would start to flake off or deteriorate. Regarding painting those little bits and pieces, it's really down to personal taste, I prefer keeping these black / raw and only paint the caliper's body. Just like I wouldn't paint my plastic trim pieces on my car in the same colour as the body. But again, really only a question of personal taste for that.
Imo, masking everything and then painting it looks also a bit cheap... Disassemble the whole caliper makes the whole job a lot more, pro.. And nicer just for the reasons stated above.
Probably not a good idea curing paint inside of an oven you make your food in
Why?
Everything boring without your Twingo
we'll have trackday videos next year, and maybe even some laps with the Twingo :)
