I don't know how I came across your channel but man, am I ever glad I did! You 'Sir, know how to cook! I've been watching tons of your videos all day since stumbling across your channel and now I know what I'll be cooking for dinner tomorrow. Street Tacos as per your recipes and techniques! Thank You!
Wow I want to thank you for the beautiful recipe and the beautiful memories. I'm a guera. My husband and I met when we were both 20 he is from Jalisco Mexico I got 18 wonderful beautiful years with him and unfortunately he passed at the age of 45. And he used to make this wonderful breakfast for me a few times a year . And he made the salsa like you do. Now I learned how to make tamales and pozole and menudo and all that stuff but this recipe I never did get and I wasn't pronouncing it right so God bless you very much thank you. I will now make it and think of my beautiful Marcelo. God bless you
I forgot I have a bag of machaca I bought from Amazon a while ago. Sunday breakfast is gonna be 🔥 Edit: this was freaking delicious and the salsa recipe is just the absolute best. I made a batch with 2 serrano peppers for my husband and one for myself with a guajillo pepper as I can't handle the serrano pepper heat. This will be my go-to salsa base from now on. Best salsa I've ever had. Thanks Arnie!
You remind me of my dad, mustache and all so I immediately had to subscribe after this video ❤ you make meals I haven't eaten since he passed, but now I think it's time i make them again. Extremely grateful for your content!
Delicious never had it before gotta try it. And i remember the tortilla with butter and salt my nana would put a little squeeze of kemon too i loved it that was our snack alot of times or arroz con leche so delicious i miss that😄👍
Where is your restaurant, I would like to devour anything you cook. Doesn't matter what's on the menu, just serve, and I will be happy eating it. I'll add this recipe to the many other of yours that are fantastic.
I have been buying "The Banderita" corn tortillas for some time (I've tried them all). I never thought about making my own from scratch. After watching this, I'll give it a try. I make macha on a regular basis. Not quite like this. I fry onions AND peppers and tomatoes with the macha. Macho is Delicious no matter how you make!
Here in central California we can't find carne seca before my father passed he would vacate in Texas every end of December into January we have all the family lives in Texas only my mom sis is still here in California anywho my dad would always bring back packs of carne seca and gorditas made by my aunts and cousins miss my dad.
Muchas gracias to Arnie's abuelita Leandra. I made about 30 of her tortillas to serve with dinner for 4 last night and I'm already making more for brunch today
I have not seen anyone do their fresh tortillas like that since I lived in San Antonio. That was way back in the spring of 1980. I used to tell people about it, and they would stare at me like my third eyeball was showing. 😂 Yummy.
Brings back great memories! Thank you, sir!! What kind of harina do you use for the corn tortillas? I live in Minnesota, so I might not be able to find it, but it's good to know the right brand to look for. Thanks, y'all!
I make my own machaca. I cook my own meat, shred it, dry it, and put it in my meat processor to chop it real fine. Then I put it all together. A recipe handed down to me that no one can match.
I was given a bag of carne seco (not FDA approved ;). I'm an experienced cook but I wanted to check in with a real expert before starting breakfast. I don't have any lard but when I smoked a brisket last month I rendered a lot of tallow (from the fat trimmings) in a pyrex inside the smoker. I think I will use my smoked tallow and get breakfast going. Great video. Subscribing.
Arnie, I see exactly where you ordered your griddle but where did you exactly get what’s underneath it. (I don’t know what it’s called but it cooks the food lol) I believe I need exactly what you have in order for my food to come out as delicious as yours! 🤣
Are those similar to Shredded Tapa? Kind of like a Beef floss here in the Philippines. Cause if they are, I can try this recipe once I just buy them from the eateries who sells them
Best Machacado con blanquillos from NL. Sabinas Hgo. y Monterrey. ARRIBA NL. PS...you gotta have good teeth to enjoy machacado con blanquillos. Unos rebanitos de aguacate. Tortillitas de maiz. Chilito hecha casera con serranos cilantro y ajo. Frijolitos con tocino. Yeah baby.
why does this almost seem like healthier shit on a shingle. carbs dried meat salsa as sauce instead of gravy. just seems like a better thing same level of convivence
This is becoming a bad channel to watch. Anyone can do this without watching videos like this. He does have a few good informative videos. Just ran out of content.
This is literally the only Mexicano cooking channel I need
So more than just food, it’s memories, friendship, love

La machaca con huevo siempre me recuerda las paradas en alguna garita de camino a La Paz BCS para desayunar con toda la familia!

Same here…learned how from a taco stand owner in El Cajon, California. Breakfast for dinner at my house.
What is the make of the gas cooktop you're using? The griddle fits perfectly.

You can use bacon grease instead of lard
For that I would need to make some bacon. I have a lot of beef tallow. Including some wagyu tallow that I will probably try next time.
Dang i been ordering your Wow and Og from pro pit in the Valley ., Im from Angelton went to hardware store and saw all your seasoning
What is the brand of hamburger press that you used in the ad?! That looked like such a great tool! Love the videos, thanks!
What a tasty looking dish. Cheers, Arnie! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️

Great video ,what type of cooktop are you using with your madein
Seconded. That was the first question I had as well.
Next you should make Chile Rellenos...... and then invite me over.
Ready to get hungry
I've used beef jerkey, just pound it with a meat tenderizer.

Good morning!
Good morning, thanks for watching
Delicious recipe . What brand do you buy her in Los Angeles it’s hard to find . I usally get mine from Sinaloa
My favorite! Some restaurants will use leftover beef fajita or brisket. No…it’s not the same. Has to be carne seca!
How long it takes for the meat to be nice and tender?
Can I use beef jerky instead 😅😅😅
Or u could use beef Jerky

All those years I played Mario, I thought he was Italian. It turns out he was Texican the whole time.
What 😲 I didn't get invited.
Machacado is not available in Canada. ☹️
Is actually called machaca con huevo
Couldn't you just toss some jerky in a blender for the meat?
lol $28/lb oooook.
$30 bucks now 😯😯😯
beer with breakfast????? might have a problem there.
$28 a pound.....NEXT!
Way too expensive for me.
