Here is my flight review from Munich to Washington DC on United’s 777-200 (N782UA) on January 30, 2023. If you have any questions please ask below.

Thanks for this helpful video. I like this style where the commentator speaks rather than just has writing on the screen. I flew with United last year to England via USA ( 4 long haul legs in total) & I was happy with everything. The staff were very professional & for an economy trip it was reasonable. I did bring some snacks onboard myself so wasn't hungry. Will definitely fly with United again. Best wishes from Sydney Australia

How was your flight ? Comfy / smooth !? Did you fly in the economy plus,too ? I used to have real bad experiences w/ the United, stopped flying w / 'em in the early 90's ! But,thinking about flying w/'em to visit Argentina in the near future ! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
@@spark_6710 I flew in Premium Plus, they sold it as an Economy Plus seat. It was comfortable. I didn't really use the foot rest, but the leg rest was nice when I wanted to catch a few hours of sleep. Overall I didn't have any complaints. The ride was smooth, the crew was friendly and the plane looked much younger than being an 1997 build.

Thank you so much for your reply !! And the clarification !! Lol. I wonder why they did that for you as they charge several hundreds of dollars more for the premium !!? Their 777-200 to EZE from IAH flight doesn't have economy plus ! But,either premium plus or economy & the difference on the price is more than $ 1,000 ! Thanks so much for your reply ! @@LCTeam2011h ,o.k.,so I watched this again & sorry to tell you that you're wrong about that ! Premium plus is different & those purple head rest ones are premium ones ! Also they never locate in the back of airplanes !!Their economy plus is just about to do with more leg room !! VS their premium plus is like other airlines products ,better paddings & more width usually of seats & more reclining !!! Which are very important to me in a long haul flight !! ✈️ Also they get an amenity kit ,too ! The widths of seats & reclining inches vary in each airlines/ model of the air craft . I just called United to change to an exit row, and they wanted to charge me $265 each way. They said it's economy plus and therefore you must pay the difference.
I guess our reviewer mate here is famous so they let him have it for free otherwise they never let u sit on it for free nowadays!
Sometimes the day of the flight they will let you get it free
I've have flown on AA, United and Delta overseas and Delta is usually the best. I'm taking United this summer to Japan on the 777 from SFO to HND and then reverse going home. United is pretty good states side. The one overseas I took with them I flew from EWR to DUB on a 757.
We try it tomorrow, United on Zurich-San Francisco. To USA in economy plus, back to Switzerland then in premium economy.
We have already experiances with Swiss and Thai Airways on intercontinentel flights. Thai is the best so long, but may be...

Funny ! I used to think United was the worst !! American airlines is getting lots of complaints more than United nowadays ! Lol.💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
I am currently thinking/ planning of flying to Argentina 🇦🇷 w/ United airlines in the near future w/ mom .But,the pillows are not provided ( why the heck !? )in the economy class bothers me !! As we both got back issues & pillows make a huge difference ( place it between your lower back / seat ) 💺 !! I know we always can ask for a pillow ,though ! I wonder if that tall gent does that all the time to get an aconomy plus seat for free !? Lol. Because if he was taller than 6 ft ,it would had been a natural thing for him to buy it to begin with !? Lol.

When do you call to ask for economy plus upgrage ?
I have flight on next week with united airlines, the bag dimensions they mentioned was 158cm and my bags was 160cm, this leads to any problem with dimensions , will they concentrate on weight or dimensions plz reply
It looks like the exit row seat are slightly different than the rest. The rest look like the arm rests are movable and the existing row ones are not.
I have exit row on my return flight. Oh it’s going to hurt. I’m a big guy. I better lose 50LBS In a week 😢

How did you call for an emergency Exit seat? At the check-in or have you called them before check-in?
Check-in had already started and I had a problem with the online system so I called United’s Customer Service. At first the lady on the phone said emergency seats were for sale even after the beginning of check-in, and then I insisted for a bit and she put me on hold to get approval from her supervisor who let me get the seat for free. I hope it works out the same for you, so even if an agent on the phone can’t do it for you, call again to talk to someone else as it really depends on who is assisting you.

United ? The worst business class experience of my life in “Polaris”
15 hour flight from Seoul to SFO and all what they were able to offer me was a bag of nuts and a can of beer because I don’t eat meat. I had ordered a vegetarian meal but they messed up. The only available options were chicken or beef. Only 1 flight attendant for the entire business class and my request for a second bag of nuts was denied because United’s bean counters limited the nuts to 1 bag per business class passenger
Bring your own speciallty food to protect yourself.
These big airplanes have enough to deal with already .
So mistakes are going to happen on special request.
Does the seat recline?
Failed to mention and show how much room there is to stow carry-on luggage. 🤦♂️
Does The exit row have Tv's?

It has endless space in front of you, also you are provided with a pillow. So the price-performance is very high compared to premium economy. Thanks for your kind comments :)
I recommend seat 40C if you are flying in the same airplane as I did (Boeing 777-200). Or either side of the airplane but not the middle section because it will have a wall against you, although there will be extra legroom it won’t be as much.

You get a upgrade to economy plus for free on t birthday month

Did united kick anyone off the flight? Because they overbooked it? A doctor who was rushing to perform as surgery perhaps?
This was a very empty flight so no one had to be put on another flight.
