Tina with pink cotton candy hair and grey contacts looks so good 😍👌👌, but I have dark brown eyes and grey or a greenish brown are my go to color for contacts.

Hi Tina,
I work as a optometrist in Denmark. Here in Denmark, we don't recommend buying contact lenses on the internet, because you could potentionally damage your eyes if you don't use a contact lens that suits you. Every person is different and people could suffer from dry eyes and staining which you can't possible see or evaluate yourself if you are not an optometrist or have the right equipment. We often see and hear alot of people who buys on the internet and have permanently damaged their eyes because of that. You should always with an good optometrists guides find out which product that suits you and doesn't prevent the oxygen to enter your eyes.
An option is also to buy on the internet AND THEN get our prefered optometrist to do a contact lens check.
By the way, I love your videoes and this wasn't a hate comment🤗😍❤️
And as an optometrist it is important to let you known that it is important to ALWAYS wash your hands before touching your eyes, to prevent any inflammation/infection in the eyes. It is also important to put on makeup AFTER you apply the contact lenses to again prevent inflammation/infection. And you should never have long nails, because you could scratch your cornea and leave permantly staining.

Despite the Luna Prism contacts not being actual holo, they're very pretty 5-tone contacts that end up looking very natural on dark eyes.

There are Unicorn ones that have rainbow colors in them. Pretty close to holo though

the reason why coloured contacts may not feel comfortable, is because you're actually feeling the extra colour layer on top of the lenses (I hope that makes sense lol). this could be due to the fact that the brand is using old technology. most coloured contact lenses on the market have since improved the comfort wear, which is why they feel more comfortable! whether it's by fusing the colour part into the actual lens itself :) I'd suggest avoiding freshlook, I'm not a huge fan of them since they're sooo uncomfortable
also, for anyone else that wants to try colour/cosmetic contacts, make sure to have a contact lenses fitting done! find out what your parameters are because each lenses/brands have their own measurements, and you want to make sure you're wearing the appropriate ones... either wise you can cause damage to your eyes!

I wear prescription contacts, and I was taught to drag the lens onto the white of the eye before you pull it out, as there's a slight chance of damage to the eye.
yepp same, also i find it easier to take out that way, but maybe just because im used doing it that way? :P

I like that you pointed out that grey is a good starting colour. A lot of people do go straight towards looking unnatural, and overlook grey as an eye colour compared to electric or baby blue.
I use the freshlook - gray daily and they look so natural!

You do it the right way, popping the lenses in! The applicator is usually used for "hard lenses"
Great Video. I use to wear green contacts years ago. I just ordered a pair so I hope they make my eyes stand out a little more at a event coming up soon.
Tina, as someone who use to wear contacts all the time because I hated my glasses you are putting in the contacts just fine.
Fearless are for me the best one To describe myself^^because there are poping, Pop!and when you where them you look very awake and ready to start the day😁
I tried freshlooks before and it didn't work for my eyes at all. It was so uncomfortable I couldn't even keep them in if I tried. The Acuvue Define is wonderful! Really comfortable and natural looking. I wish they made more colors, but I'm content ☺️
I have tried contact lense before, that I bought at the mall. It was foggy looking, so I never wore it again.

You should be putting contacts on before you put on makeup because tiny particles of makeup that you knock off may land in your eye and then you trap them under the lens which can be uncomfortable and lead to infection
The music Asthetic agreed. When your dealing with contacts you need to be as clean as possible

Tina you definitely should try Japanese contact lenses. They have so many brands and styles. I recommend Miche Bloomin and Nadeshiko Color.

Mine are really dark and I really wanted lighter contacts maybe even like blue 😚 my parents don’t trust me with contacts because I’m “to young” lol. They said wait so here I am 3yrs later and I’m still waiting :)

I used fresh look when I first started using contacts my first color was green, second lavender, then blue I already have blue eyes but they have a grayish hue to them and wanted a brighter blue so that's why I got those but my favorite were the lavender ones they were really pretty that was 20 years ago so I don't think fresh look even carry the lavender the color really made my eyes pop and that shade of purple had a little blue in them too

Just being an optometrist, but remember to drag the lens away from your iris before pinching off to avoid any accidental scratching/abrasion of the cornea! (Those are really painful) also I'm sure you did, but remember to wash hands before handling lenses to avoid risk of infection :)
Oh and I love that last colour on you. You dont look like a vampire lol. But any colour would suit you because you are stunning.

I love your collection.
My gosh I think I have 6 from Colourvue Australia which they r ok I just feel like something is in my eyes. Maybe because I have very dry eyes and I have to keep putting drops in my eyes. I new to all these contact etc but I just over the last week purchased 13 different colours from TTDEYE. There is less water % in them so I’m hoping they r comfortable on me so I can get my money’s worth. They are yearlies where my other ones are 3 monthlies. I love the idea of changing up my look.
I had heard of grey eyes.....i didn't believe they actually existed until I met a young woman from somewhere in South America. She had darker skin and deep grey eyes. They were amazing

OMG! i miss wearing contacts. My first ever pair was a purple one with a diameter of 15mm for that dolly look. It sorta freaked out some of my colleagues. XD the last pair I had was grey which I bought in SG and had a diameter of 14.5mm

To take out contacts you have to drag it down then pitch it out it's easier Instead of going straight to pitching it out it can rip the contacts

Mine are as dark as my soul. I wish they were lighter brown like amber or hazel.
Ohh have you tried any of the lenses from Desio? Give The Attitude collection a go because they're one-day lenses. Delicious honey is my fave but they lighten the eyes a lot and I have dark brown eyes (similar to yours) I feel like they'll look so good on you! Also going to Korea soon so I might pick up those grey pair that you recommended 💕

Funny, all of my family have blue eyes, but we have different blood types. It was quite a surprise when I started donating blood and got A- typed, my dad didn't understand how that was possible but it was fun to do the genetic chart to figure out mine and my parents exact gene sets based on it 😃
In modern medicine the idea of very set eyecolours pr. Gene has given way for a more sliding scale understanding of the possibilities based in single gene and the combination of the two genes, your hazel eyes might very likely carry blue genes to get hazel at all 😊

I've been wearing coloured contact lenses for more than 3 years, I've heard lots of negative comments about freshlook contact lenses because it's uncomfortable to wear, and super hard to take off after u finish ur day. "High water content"is not good for your eyes, because the higher the water content is, the more water the contact lense need to absorb from your eyes to keep itself soft. So high water content does not protect your eyes with moisture. Not all high-content lenses are uncomfortable, but I really don't recommend such lenses to those who have dry eyes. 58% is quite high, and that's the water content of freshlook lenses.
If you wanna try lenses with bigger diameter, 1. be aware of the diameter of the coloured part of contact lenses, cuz that's what actually decide to what extent your eyes can look bigger with the contact lenses, 2. make sure your natural eyes(not pupil, the whole of your eyes) are big enough. If you have naturally small eyes and your wear a contact lense with a big coloured part, your eyes will look unnatural and very 'stuffy'; that's not good for any of us.
Also would you recommend wearing contact lenses if you have smaller eyes (I am Chinese😊 not being stereotypical I just have smaller eyes)
