This "piano" game is so good. I heard there is a mini game where you explore the outside world fighting monsters and saving the world but thats too much for a mini game.
He also needed a handkerchief and found a couple of triangular ones in a drawer. Though Square enix said He won't get them anymore in the remake. Now he has nothing to wipe his tears which makes him even sadder.

In this demo song all the Left bass notes are all on the downbeat of a bar for a chord change and you hit the same time as one of the melody notes on the right side. Takes just a little practice to notice which melody note it is lined up with. Recommend staring directly between the two UI circles
Actually, I'd give it two weeks. Rebirth's Piano vids are showing up now, someone's already done To Zanarkand on here, so i think we're gonna be seeing some interesting music over the next couple weeks

Personally I found the trick to it to be that you don’t watch the inputs. You learn to play by ear. Mostly because Uematsu is insane with some of his time signatures…

I love how they remove the metronome and add in tons of notes if you start playing well. I don't want to get myself excited, but in my head im imagining there being like 30+ songs to play
I can play that piece without any trouble on a real piano (I've been playing piano for over a decade), but hell, I didn't get higher than a C rank on this minigame lol.
I don’t know about other keyboards, but the Kawai CA49 has this feature where you can just press the same key and it will play various pieces in rhythm with your key presses.
His hands aren't animated to play, but watch the piano itself. The keys themselves actually are playing the notes and chord that get played on the sticks. (Only the stick chords and notes though, all of the extra embellishments aren't there)
This is amazing, I was not expectating to spend 6hrs playing piano in this demo and it's so beautifully done. Well done on perfecting it,I can only get B so far
i hope the ultimate weapon is not tied to piano playing unless you are extremlly good most gamers will not be able to get the ultimate weapon if that is the case.
It helps a lot if you are familiar with the song. If you cant even hum the song on its own, then it'll be much harder. It's exactly like singing. You need to know the lyrics and melody.
Cloud has been holding out on us. In the remake is says "i can't dance" yet he busts some of the nastiest moves later on. Next he's gonna say something stupid like "I can't really sing"
I am a musician, I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years, I’m admittedly not very good at piano. But just like I’m really horrible at guitar hero, I’m also really bad at this mini game. Shit made no sense to me when I was trying to play it
This mini-game is like trying to sing the alphabet song but only on the upbeats, in theory I can do it, but in practice it makes my brain itch in the absolute WORST way and I just can't
the less Dominant hand is going to be more difficult... I can't do the L at the same time with the R motions, even with the single swipe it's difficult. Can't believe I put a lot of time in this one song on the demo lol.. Addictive

I ended up getting an A on this, I wonder if you just mash on the keys then leave the piano what the others say, if anything different. Since they complimented me for doing well, I’m curious if audio is different if you do bad XD I’ll have to test after work
Man, i only did this once and i dont think i can do this mini game lol. My mind was so focused on the right side notes that i missed every left side note. Trying to get the left side notes just confused my brain and i would proceed to miss several right side notes in exchange.
I just stared between the two circles until I started to memorize it - took about a dozen or so tries and would quit after a single miss once I was sorta comfy with the whole thing
Got this on my 4th try honestly but there is a wrong note in the song it’s played incorrectly I have played this song on piano and have seen the sheet music, the one note placement and timing is off I forgot it’s in the beginning. I noticed this because I was playing by the sound and missed that note the first 3 tries.
Took me 6 tries to get it, but I got it! My first try was rough for half of it until I figured out what was going on. I actually really like this minigame. I'm a sucker for a good rhythm game.
As much as I love the song i hate this mini game already. Not everyone is praised with patience and rhythm. But i do love a lot the FF8 Xell Poster Dolphin Blow on the wardrobe.
This is definitely messed up. Playing the correct rhythm on the pad will make you miss all notes. You’ll have to press the stick about 1/8 or 1/16 note before the actual note to hit it, which is a nightmare for any musician and feels totally awkward and wrong. Cloud, you‘re rushing!!
I fear this piano is going to be redonkyulous; I was hoping they’d just port usb midi. I prefer being late, but musician must adapt to timing of others. 🐧🐉
I started playing ff7 rebirth today noticed the sheet music was not in tifas room at the start so I played your video and played it on the piano and was given praise from the group for doing so….. wonder if that changes anything in game
Playing this song again after doing all the others makes me sad at the missed potential of this minigame. No song is even close to as satisfying to play or as well synced to their song as this one. Feels like they made this one first and just slapped the other songs input sheets together in an afternoon.

It’s gonna take a bit of getting used to. I’m so glad there’s a metronome because I have a hard time keeping a steady beat.

I'd honestly take the piano over needing to dodge 200 lightning bolts again. I remember doing an extra 17 dodges just in case my count was off.
In the OG FFVII, Tifa's final Limit Break was tied to playing the piano.

This was a surprisingly well-made minigame. It could probably stand alone as its own rhythm game with some minor additions and tweaks.

When i first played the demo and got into this minigame, my first thought was: if this become a trophy, i'll never get it.
Cloud is really awesome, he can wring all those notes out of the piano but his hands never leave Middle C.
Don’t forget there is a tempo slider with the shoulder buttons when you select the song!!! This will make it way easier
This is a little tricky at first but after a bit of practice it’s super easy. I finally managed to get the perfect score
