Backed out of the garage and tore my mirror off....Watched two other videos where the guys took all the panels, and etc off, your video showed me how to do it without all that!! Thank you so much, I did it in less than thirty minutes, my husband will be so proud!!! Thank you, Sara
Thank you so so much for this video. I didn’t want to deal with removing the panel. I’m going to try this as soon as I receive the mirror! This is such a great help.
Yep, it all worked out. Thanks for the video. Was pretty easy even for a newbie. Didn't take more than 30 minutes even for me and no door panel stuff to worry about.
A thousand Thank You's Imraan Abdullah! Going to fix my buddy's wife's mirror for them. Man your video is going to make me look good, brother. Thx again for sharing and taking the time to post this for us. Best Wishes from Niagara Falls, ON, Canada Sir. -Dan-0
Going to try this way. Have the same Focus and a lot of the newer models recommend taking the door panel off but this looks like it should be done without having to do that. That bolt by the panel may be a little tricky but well give it a shot and upload another status after the procedure.
How did it work for you. I'm no mechanic at all. But I do have experience with hand tools. That bolt was a little tricky, just had to slow down a little on that part
Glad it helped sir. I wish there were a video for an easy way to replace the headlight bulb. It was a pain for me. Didnt even think about doing a video.
Excellent video, I had to replace both of mine so this was a huge help. One note: The tabs on that panel cover seem to break almost every time. I'm just gluing the passenger side tabs back on and re-using it. For the driver side I ordered this: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AQZB1I4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Good luck everyone!
Thanks for helping me avoid taking the whole door panels off! You gave me the confidence to take the job on myself!
