    I love how real you are! ❤️ It's so refreshing to see someone who knows what they're talking about (even taking notes) to keep it simple and to the point! Your confidence shines because of how sure you are, in what you're saying. This is my first time coming across your videos, so I'm not sure if you have covered any of the things I'm about to mention (or if you even still do videos -I'll obviously check after I write this!) but there's a few videos I'd love to see from you!!
    1. Some tips/tricks how to work on deeper skin tones. Im very fair with cool undertones, so my knowledge is fairly limited to light foundations with green color correcting lol. I'd love to have you lay out some basics when working with WOC! ❤️
    2. How you pack your kit, materials /packaging you use, items that may be specific to your kit that you can't live without!
    3. Brushes! I'm a brush hoarder and always overpack these...
    4. Staple skin prep items you can't live without!
    5. Time saving tips/how you set up your station for clients.
    6. Favorite eyeshadow palettes!
    7. Working on mature skin.
    Sorry for being long winded, just pumped to finally find someone without all the bulllllllllshhhh. ❤️

    I’ve been using Ben Nye palette for the last 4 years never failed me on matching anyone mixing and making colors you don’t have is easy. Texture is thin and workable but it’s Little to Medium coverage unless mixed with a liquid for full coverage. I notice on sets and video shoots it’s not heavy enough and doesn’t do well under lights use a matte primer I had someone melt on me before. these are good for everything but shoots or videos

I've been watching a tone of videos and its honestly annoying to hear omg can't believe how small it is blablabla like I've ended up getting the nyx pro face palette which is sooo affordable for what it is and once I have more practice and experience I will upgrade. Thank you so much for sharing so much knowledge x

    I have Ben nye I need to figure out how to get it to look smooth on textured skin. Which foundations are best for a little texture, large pores?

    • @alize0623
      @alize0623 3 роки тому +1

      You need a primer at that point. Foundation isn’t wall spackle. You’re gonna see texture. However, a thick primer over texture and large pores will give the foundation something to lay on top of. It’s like Spanx for your face

    I was hoping for more info about mixing foundation. How many shades you should pack and mix with those. HD makeup and the importance of that with photos and videos. It’s nice to hear your thoughts of foundation you used and what you haven’t. The buying tips are great. I guess I was hoping for how to mix foundations. Also why are you recommending a drug store priced foundation that you haven’t been tried yourself? Kind of hard to take you seriously if you’re biased

    If you’re in Canada and you shop at shoppers drug mart or any PC grocery stores a lot, save the weekly points coupons and you can quickly generate points which act as cash to spend at PC stores e.g. 100000 points = $100
    You can save and spend up to 500000 points at a time which is a great way to be able to buy high end brands from the beauty boutique where we don’t get discounts. They carry Estée Lauder, Too Faced, Smashbox, Jouer, Etc

    Also this Medatranian with olive undertones has a hard time finding anything to match her because apparently in makeup land, it’s impossible to be both fair and have olive undertones😑 That’s 100% bs and makeup land needs to stop with that. That brand you know nothing about but won’t stop praising has olive tones but fail to have any for fair skinned folks. Like it’ll be cool to have a line that’s just olive undertones because it is hard to find something to match you if you’re olive

    • @kaleighcleveland7897
      @kaleighcleveland7897 2 роки тому +1

      I highly recommend trying the L.A. Girl foundation mixers, I agree that brands need to create fair olive foundations for sure but until that happens, the blue and yellow mixers mixed together make the perfect olive undertone. The mixers are super sheer so you can use them with the lightest shades with no issues. And if you do try it and like it, you could add in enough of each to liquid foundation that you don’t have to mix it every time, just possibly have to shake it every so often if anything.

      You need adjusters. Invest in something like a makeup forever , rcma, kett, or temptu based on the medium you use.
