@@hima_da_true_right a lot of effort=fun, at least that's how it is to many big UA-camrs. It's like a musician producing a song or a writer sitting down thinking of ideas for their next novel, seeing the final result and being proud of it is worth the previous effort

i am once again telling you that your first Fighter video made me actually sit down and play DD for the first time and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. literally made me reevaluate sword and board in completely unrelated games too
Let's be honest, even though fighter is not the most popular class or the strongest one, it really is the culmination of the "hero" archetype. Whenever you think of someone facing a dragon, you dont think of daggers or bows, neither staves or wands, you think of a heavy plated sword and shield medieval guy. Its like, he might even be the worst class in a fantasy game, but it has to be there, just for the sake of being there. His presence alone enriches the game. Thats why I always go with fighters. Straight swords, tower shields and heavy metal armor. Be it Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, or Dragon's Dogma.
A quote about D&D that applies to most RPGs out there: "A high level Fighter is like a Greek hero: superhuman in every aspect. And a high level Wizard is like a Greek god: straight up bends reality itself. But you know who defeated Greek gods over and over again? Greek heroes."
I think when most people think hero they just think of a person that fights the villain, nothing to do with the rest of what you said There's so many different heroes in media no one else has your narrow view of the word
Honey the queen of DDDA posted a new video. Bingeing this game over a week was one of my best life decisions I've made. Honestly can't wait for the sequel I was screaming when it was announced
Spectacular video. Fighter is definitely one of my absolute favorites in the game. Running with four Fighters is a blast, perhaps only topped by running with four Sorcerers.
So fucking true. I don’t care what badass magic(k)s you use, nothing beats going up against your enemies with nothing but your sheer will to beat the ever loving shit out of them.
Fighter is truly the only vocation who makes you engage with every scenario the game gives you fully. No avoiding enemies, no easy weakpoint hits. You just have to face everything head on, learn all the patterns and triggers, and figure out something ingenious if that doesn't work.
@zedre7633 I think that's true for the most part in spirit, but at least some vocations have some nuance with their win buttons like mk needing to parry and assassins win button depends a bit more on the fight. I think my issue with dragons maw is you are invincible during it. You can just mash it in the middle of everything brain off which makes it feel like all of the fighters good tools just aren't worth using by comparison.
@@TheArnoldification I don't like both Dragon's Maw and Full Moon Slash because of that reason, being invincible in place looks dumb. Thankfully the option to never use them is there.
WOW! You know FIGHTER is my favorite vocation too... but you so far better in this, your parry skill is perfection! And this fight with death... awh that's amazing!
My first fight against Matt Daimon was a mostly solo fighter bout. That's where I learned to love fighter. Also for some reason I can only reliably perfect block with fighter or assassin. I'll get the hang of it with M Knight, since I'm doing a M Knight staff run now.
A balance for fighter (and warrior) would be buffs to their throwing items. Like more damage and/or range. An aiming reticle too; imagine being able to throwing-knife the metal golem talisman that's out of reach in the Witchwood.
I prefer sword and daggers, even though it looks a little wonky with one of the blades clipping through the shield. In terms of defensive utility, I think it's unmatched and that's solely because of two core skills, the perfect block (Deflect) and the dodge roll. Between those two and instant reset, you can potentially be untouchable by literally anything. Sword and board assassin is still viable, though. You just have to lean more on the perfect block as you obviously won't have the dodge roll to fall back on.
Hindsight Strike as the comment above me said. Basically, you step back and then forward again delivering a strike. If used to avoid an enemy's attack, it deals more damage. Its a pretty cool skill
Even though I’ve only played sorcerer except to grab some augments from other classes this does make me want to change my pawn from a warrior back to a fighter
So I went the archer/mage archer route way back when I last played this. Kind of regretted not being able to get physical with stuff after I learned how much you had to spam spells and play safe to make it work. With the announcement of a sequel, having now played elden ring, and this video it might be time to give it another go.
Bruuuuhh, I’ve been thinking about making a fighter class based on myself. I’ve played a female Sorceress twice now because I adore the raw power of the magic attacks, but there is a simple, macho beauty about being a guy in armor that can stand against literally anything thrown at him. I miss this game and I’mma get back into it.
I plan on making one but it'll take a while. There's very limited info about Fighter online, so I have a friend helping me dig through game files to figure stuff out.
it’s just kind of something you expect from sonic nowadays. Sonic has always had banger music, his world from sonic 06 just happens to be a great example even if it’s from sonic 06. that game was bad, but the ost was fire
Have had this game for close to 2 years now. Might as well look up a guide on all classes and pick which one plays the closest to Dante or any other character action game.
I really want to see you do an assassin playthrough but by keeping it different from Chad Warrior playthrough you should do All quests. it's a lot and mundane but honestly i've watched the chad playthrough more than once and it made me crave a pure playthrough with commentary on the game
Fighter to me is everything warrior strides to be, it's antithesis if you will. It's goot a full stock of 6 skills to choose from, a should for more defense, way more i-frame skills and more versatility. It pains me to be a warrior main and then watch these videos cause I just adore bonking things as warrior way too much. I'm really praying DD2 does warrior justice.
If the game didn't auto save after you did this then your original save file is still there. Boot up the game normally and it will load the original file. If you completed a quest or exit a city and an auto save happened then it's gone.😢
So, you like figther because of the two skills? Or the first half was, so called "perfect block"? I am sorry, I did not get it... I am new to the game. Started as mage, planning to go on as a mystic knight. Freaked out, as was very disappointed on that class in BBI at the beginning of the game. Started all over again as a fighter and realised, that so called BBI is basically an optional area😂. So I continued playing in the main area, but eventually switched to mystic knight as soon as possible, as I was planning in the first place. Trying to figure it out, how this "perfect block" is working, as timings in this game are really weird...😮
Something about a regular guy with a shield and a sword destroying monsters 10x his size tickles my pickle
