I love the rating system! I think I may have requested this in previous foundation round-ups from you. Because I value your opinion so much, it really helps me make a decision on purchasing. Thank you!❤
So glad you reviewed the pink and silver versions of the TIRTIR foundations, as I find the red one is a bit too much coverage and I wanted something lighter and more hydrating. Thanks!
I really like the new ranking and rating system. Makes it easy to get an idea how some products might work or not work for my skin type. Thanks so much!
I REALLY like this new rating system. The pink TirTir is one of my favorite foundations too. I'm a bit oilier than you are, so it doesn't wear quite as well on me as on you unless I use a primer underneath + a mattifying setting spray, but the overall wear is beautiful then.
Love the new rate system! I have normal skin most of the year and slightly dry in winter. I adore the LYS foundation stick! I love the sheen and it feels like nothing!
AND....just like that you had me buying the pink Tir Tir Foundation ($15 right now on Amazon). I am your shade twin during the cooler months so it was an easy click for me!, I always appreciate the amount of details you provide in your reviews, so helpful! I had tried the Red Tir Tir this summer and it was an instant no for me (maybe I applied it wrong), so I've been waiting for someone to talk about the Pink, thank you!!!!
Since discovering K Beauty I have been a huge fan of it all..I’m 55 and the TIRTIR foundation ps are incredible and so well priced! Glad to see you agree
Hi Steph! My PRO Girl! It's sooo true what you said about climate, because I've been watching Risa for years, and you two ladies are the cream of the crop! But yea, no humidity in Vegas but probably tons of humidity where you are! I have normal skin that in a harsh winter will get dry from indoor heat if I don't use moisturizer. I live in MD. Lately I've been lazy and not doing my routine and I'll probably regret it in a few years, LOL! But I need to thank you. Because I'm thinking that the TirTir Silver Cushion is just up my alley! I ordered it, can't wait to get it! BTW: I got the Ola Hendrickson lippie and it has helped so much. For some reason I have the driest lips on earth. 😘😘😘
I always click on these videos so fast, because geographically we are very close, and you know the pain of Louisiana weather. Although, I have to say hyaluronic acid loves our weather! Thank you for all your hard work.❤❤
I LOVE your hair in this video! So I love the Tir Tie foundation. I have the red, but might pick up the pink. I don't like the sponge it comes with and have found that the best way for me to apply evenly without the mask look is with a brush. It's a top favorite for me!
What you just said about climate just hit home with me. I travel with work all over the United States and 57years of age. I buy all kinds of budget and expensive products. I have a love hate relationship with most. I just realized I need to track what I love and hate in each state and climate. Interesting!
I travel for work too. I divide my base products, skin care and curly hair care into different areas to help pack what works best in different climates
I’ll be 70 in a couple of weeks…yikes! I love the silver tir tir! I tried the red, didn’t love it, but this..love the radiance and it lasted all day. Really natural and pretty
Thank you! I’d been wondering about these two Tir Tir foundations. I live in a similar, albeit less humid, climate. I don’t like super glowy finishes so it sounds like the pink would work for me as well. 😊
I’d probably go for the red (it has more of a satin finish and full coverage…check my review for application tips) or silver (radiant with lighter coverage) if you have dry skin. :) Thank you!
@@cherylt5818I am dry in a dry climate. The red was straight out matte on me. I haven’t tried different primers yet - just used it Yesterday and it didn’t wow me. There was nothing satin about it On my skin
Technically 5. Red, Pink, Silver, Black and there's the Crystal Mesh Cushion, which is also a light silver but with a sort of unique glass diamond cut shape, but that only comes in 3 shades.
I love these foundation reviews with rankings. I had a terrible experience with One Size, too thick, accentuated what I don't want accentuated ! I have been enjoying the LYS stick foundation. I put it on this morning as a matter of fact. I'm in agreement with your review. I have normal skin with a couple of dry spots so no issues with oiliness.
Love the rating system, the little blenders are so cute! I have yet to find a foundation I like better than La Mer. So frustrating as it’s so expensive, although I don’t wear foundation every day so it lasts a while for me. I may try that pink Tir Tir, looked really nice on you!
I’m 68 normal to dry skin and I love the lys foundation stick❤ I don’t use as much as you did and apply with a brush to buff in. Applying that way gives a very skin like, natural finish👍🏻
Bummer! I wear 23N as well, and it’s not available in the Silver through your link, either size, so should I will check again later. Thanks for a great video; love the “ranking” style! Update: I navigated and found 23N! 😅
Yay!! I was really confused because sourced each of them in two places so you guys could find all the shades. And when I checked yesterday I saw all of them. Whew! 😅
Ty !! 🎉🎉🎉Love this video! Rating system is great! I live in Chicago and have normal skin (combo in Summer) and similar in skin tone to you! Love your channel!
Oh your "first day WHOA shine face" was me trying for a week to get Smashbox Always On not to peel off or wear off in 3 hours and Huda Easy Blur with no primer LOL. Honestly Huda didn't get much better with a primer.
My Sephora doesn’t carry the lys foundation. I have the worst time trying to color match online. I have decided this is a deturant to purchase for me due to the multiple times I repurchase due to poor shade match.
I love the pink TirTir! NOLA question for you! :) My family and I are coming to NOLA for Christmas this year! We have a ton of restaurant reservations (Superior Seafood, Elizabeth's, Antoine's, Jacque Imo's, Compere Lapin, Casamento's). We're looking for something fun and touristy, like a good ghost tour. Any suggestions? Last year we did a swamp tour, which was actually great. We love walking around Magazine Street, St Charles, etc.
A ghost tour would be fun! I don't have a specific one to recommend to you unfortunately bc it's been so long since I've done one. If you haven't been to the Carousel bar in The Monteleone Hotel, swing by there! It's a landmark :)
I like this new format, which is very informative. Jane Iredale, is so overated and the "claims" are IMO, exaggerated, to me it seems as if J.I. is paying influences to promote there product??? Thank you for your take on these foundations.
Hi! As soon as I open up youtube, I go straight to the subscriptions tab/section instead of the home page. This way I can see all the new videos from every channel I'm subscribed to since I was last on youtube. I like the rating system! Wondering what lip liner you’re wearing; I’m similar skin tone to you but Bitch Perfect and NARS Blame are pulling a tiny bit warmer on me. Thanks!,
I guess I should list that too :) Usually when I don't, it's one that's very close to my natural lip shade, like Makeup by Mario Smokey Pink or Hugh. It can help with lip colors pull too warm sometimes. I'm wearing Hugh here :) Thank you!
I found the red TirTir to be strongly fragranced and I didn’t enjoy how fussy it was to apply so I couldn’t get onboard. Would you say the silver and pink are less fragrant?
I'll compare the fragrances when I head upstairs to film today and get back to you :) If I forget, pop back in here and remind me. I've got a thousand things going on right now! Oct-Dec is the three-month equivalent of tax season for a CPA around here! 🤪
I loved the Tirtir pink, but I found it was darker in the same shade than the red one. So had to go a shade down. The one/size has to be the WORST foundation I've ever tried. I took it off after 10 minutes. I tried with primer, without, thin layers etc, and it looked awful. Sank into lines i didn't know I had and looked really really cakey
FYI for those without US Amazon/'cos they don't always have the full shade range, YesStyle has TirTir Red at 40% off, Silver is 40, Pink is 30, plus the minis of those three on some sort of sale too if you want to trial. You've got some there I can't wait to get to Australia. Oh devo about the One/Size! Eh, saved me money.
It’s another cruel joke of nature 🤪 Seriously though, sometimes it’s skin prep compatibility with our makeup. Other times it’s too much grip - the foundation wants to settle down in there because it’s attracted to the oil in our pores. Usually a primer that’s compatible with your foundation can help fill in your pores, smooth and create a barrier so that doesn’t happen. Sometimes it just happens anyway! Lol
@ another injustice. It’s “wear silicone with silicone & water based with water based”. Um…still no. I need this to last…Houston is close to NOLA in humidity. It’s One Size spray…layer…One Size…layer…
Stephanie can you confirm that the tir tir pink cushion doesn't contain any chemical sunscreens. Its so hard to find the ingredients list online. From what I saw on red one there are a couple of questionable ingredients that I want to make sure is not a chemical sunscreen I'm not familiar with. I cant find anything about pink one. Thank you so much
Asian chemical sunscreens are much different, more advanced, and better than ours. Asian sunscreens do contain them yes. It contains both mineral and chemical sunscreens.

What is mature skin exactly? Is mature skin simply based on how old one is?
I'm not a MUA but I'll venture a guess that the term "mature skin" has nothing to do with age but the condition... dry, wrinkles, and so on.
