I assumed this was going to be a typical ring-kissing product promo "sponsored" by the clothing brand. Instead, we got an honest, independent assessment of the product's claims and a common-sense take on their inflated prices.
I wish he told us whether the shirts are 100% cotton. That’s hard to find nowdays but the polyester and spandex blends are prone to odor problems and feel too hot when I exercise in them (like my shirt is part plastic bag). Of course if a cottong shirt is too thick it will be too hot for exercise too, but will last longer.
What I hate is that I feel like the only way we know that a review is honest is if they have a negative review. I feel like almost know one just goes out of their way to trash a good product
@beastmode_bumblebee Yeah it's true.... The reality is if I make a positive video I could make WAY more money with affiliate links promoting the product. Taking time to make negative reviews hardly benefits me financially but if it helps my fellow brother man I'm all for it. Also too, sometimes reviews like this help the company make a better product which again, as the consumer what I really want...a good product. At that point I'll create a positive review and hey maybe can even make a few bucks on it too and at least my audience will appreciate it if it's an actually good product.
Haha $100 saved. Well, depending where you're from. A lot of money for T-shirts either way! Interestingly Bylt Basics who make Tee's saw this vid and are sending me some of THEIR T-shirts which I will be reviewing shortly. Fingers crossed they are actually good.
Exactly! Lmao these shirts get made at 10cents a shirt in bulk yet companies try and charge like 30$ a t shirt with no label for graphics nothing! Shits ridiculous! Got shirts from Zara at $14.99 and fir exactly the same
Oddly enough, I am getting bombarded with these ads on UA-cam. Did a quick search and ended up here. Thank you for saving me some money and thank you for the honest review.
Thanks for saying, I appreciate it. I've got a few more tee reviews coming down the pipes. Some that are actually decent too thank goodness. I hate wasting money on well marketed crap!
I got a 6 pack recently, and chose to go with a size larger than I typically go. I’m usually a medium, but I went large. They were initially too big, but after washing them and drying them in a normal cycle, they shrunk and fit pretty darn well. Maybe still a tiny bit big, but am counting on them shrinking a bit more through the next few wash cycles. So, if you are a cynic like me and buy with the assumption that they will shrink, they’ll be a pretty good low maintenance shirt for you 👍🏼
I definitely bought the wrong size and in hindsight, should have did what you did. With that being said, after a couple washes I was pretty disappointed with the material. Have yours been ok so far? I went on a t-shirt kick for awhile there, and the other shirts I purchased & reviewed have held up so much better. I'll do a follow-up review on the clothes in a few months.
Usually drying with cotton, yes I know it’s partially poly, you get length shrinkage, not width. And that’s personally my problem with them for my body type. Umm as far as ordering by their charts. “Your” size. At boot you have two different manufacturers and countries and they are inconsistent. Thus I did based on the chart, and disappointed. They really do run big and billowy. Especially the back.
Glad I could help! Check out my Fioboc review if you want to try some good ones. The company is still early in growth but their t-shirts are dope. They aren't cheap though.
I've been wearing them for a year or so. They do vary in fit even though they're all the same size. Some are a little tighter and it depends on the color in my experience. The natural fits looser, the navy fits perfect, the cobalt fits tighter, the pure white fits tighter, the emerald fits perfect, and the heather blue fits tighter. It's kinda weird but the shirts are so soft and comfy, it doesn't really bother me, and when they fit right, they make you look great. It's funny you say it shrunk more than 5% because I complained to them about that after the first wash! Lol. Some of them didn't shrink as much though. If someone wants to try them, I recommend getting the natural (undyed), navy, dark green, and generally the darker colors, which seem to fit better.
This is a great fair comment, thanks for sharing. One thing I've found after doing multiple t-shirt reviews is whichever shirts make you feel good when putting it on, that's the one to buy. A lot of people don't like their experience with True Classic but a lot do so, I can't hate on that. I think if you live in the States (easier shipping) it's probably a lot easier and a lot less risky to try them out.
Thank you so much for an honest review. Especially the mention of them being “nipply”. I hate it when I buy a good looking shirt only to realize later that my nips look like they’re trying to put on a show.
This review was spot on to what I noticed. I tried one on in a local store and was surprised to find them so thin and "nipply" as you appropriately described. Pass for me.
LOVE reading a comment like this. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it 👊 How old are you'd kiddos? Mine are 7 and almost 10!! I've been at it awhile 😍
@@TheSAHDLife wow thanks for that! I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old, I’m looking forward to those ages! 4 is such a blast though, and they grow up so quick as is!
Thank you so much! I was very close to spending too much on True Classic. After seeing this, I ended up buying 2 dress shirts (Zeroyaa) & 3 long sleeve shirts (Dickies). Conclusion: Fits perfectly & I love them! Saved me over $100 IF I had gone with True Classic. Thank you again.
I'm checking out the site now. They must have taken people's reviews to heart. The pricing is definitely affordable if you buy in larger quantities. All I needed was a review of how they would hold up. Thank you
Yeah that's great they're realizing the price was a big factor. It sets expectations you know? You going to try them out? If you do, try and remember to let us know what you think!
Thanks for the honest review. Those are quite rare on YT nowadays. I wanted to try a 6pack for $99. Changed country to The Netherlands, and boom, price went up to €130!!! Never mind, I'll stick with my €4 shirts from Primark.
Oof! Yeah that is definitely not worth it for such a basic shirt. Really slick marketing though right? I have been through quite a lot of shirts over the last couple years and to be honest, I'm back to the 100% natural fibres now anyway. These polyester blends just carry the smell and aren't as good for the earth.
Aw man I WISH I could say this was it. They aren't bad if you could get on a wicked sale, maybe black Friday or something. IF you ever find anything decent and remember, please let me know, lol. I'll keep searching too and if I find it, you know I'll be making a video about it. Thanks for watching and the comment!
I bought some and I agree. The shirts are not premium enough for me to wash them separately from all my other clothes but the company expects you to treat them as such. I had some that retained size and some that shrank really bad to the point I couldn’t wear it. The company does not make it easy to return or get a refund. At least when I buy a shirt from target or Walmart they except a return quite easily. It’s a NO brainer over here for this T-Shirt Company.
Glad I watched this. I will continue to buy American Eagle super soft Ts. I wear a XL and I buy 2X so I can dry them and allow for shrinkage. Best ones I have found.
I just picked up some American Eagle t-shirts that are 100% cotton. They have great color choices and a reasonable price. I'm really happy with them so far. Are the ones you buy cotton?
@@TheSAHDLife yes they are. I prefer the ones that are the lighter “pastel” type colors which I mainly buy white and gray but they have some that has very faint horizontal lines and I don’t think they are comfortable as the others but still better than others I found. Also I’m not a name brand type guy. I’m just a simple country guy so for me to buy AM it’s strictly due to comfort and not style. I wait for them to go on sale and buy several cause I do tear them up and stain them often. Also I don’t baby them when it comes to washing and drying. Again just but 1 size bigger.
Sizing is all over the map with this company. Bought size L in various colors with a couple fitting fine and the balance looking like a King bed sheet. Tremendous
Thanks I’ve been looking for an honest review of this company because I agree with you. They have good marketing but it’s definitely not reasonably pricing $60-$70 for a three pack of T-shirts. I don’t know how they can honestly say that’s a reasonable.
Glad you found the video. Yeah it's a bummer that the products don't match the marketing. Maybe they've gotten better but I doubt it. You're much better off to just go to your local mall and find some cotton shirts somewhere that fit.
I know right? Glad I could help. You know if the price point wasn't as high, I'd let them get away with it a little more... but my gosh at the price, c'mon.
THESE SHIRTS ARE AWESOME- v neck, crew neck, underwear, are GREAT!! Socks are OK🤷🏻♂️ Remember these shirts don’t come w muscles, so bring your own😁 Wash in cold, dry medium heat & order your exact size👍 BOOM…good to go!!
That's awesome you've had a good experience with them! I wish it was the same for me... perhaps I'll give 'em a whirl again in the near future. I didn't even know they had underwear!
If you have muscles any HnM or t-shirt bought from the mall will fit you good The idea of these shirts was of you're chubby muscly, basically the average Joe gym bro that doesn't bother with a tryhard healthy diet
Nice review, I always see these advertised and wondered about them. I just ordered a true classic polo as I am on Zoom calls for work and although we are casual, a tshirt is a bit too casual for a Zoom call so I typically wear a short sleeve polo style shirt. I like Ralph Lauren polo shirts but they are so expensive so I am trying a true classic polo which at $27 USD for a polo seems reasonable.
Thanks for watching! And that is a decent price point for the shirt.... hopefully they fit and feel nice. My fav company since I've gotten into shirts does a nice Polo but it's pretty pricey. Wearing it though you can really feel the quality (especially vs True Classic). You can check it out here in case you are curious, I have the slate blue one: www.fioboc.com/collections/new-in/products/staycool-2-0-curve-hem-polo-slim-fit-1?variant=43980162302176
Since this video I've received other T-shirts from companies and the True Classic ones don't get much wear from me.... but like you said, for that price point, if you get the right size in maybe some cool colors, they are decent. I'm still not confident they would last that long but at that price they don't have to!
I ordered a basic black/white/od green pack and they fit great. I ordered another pack with different colors and they are all shorter than I like. I have a gut and I hate when the shirt barely covers. If they can be more consistent it would be great.
Yeah that's the thing right? Maybe my set of shirts wasn't the best or most accurate size. Maybe it was. It seems like since I've made this video their prices (or at least sales) are better. I like that they have a variety of colours. Maybe I'll try them again one day and make an updated video. Have you had a chance to put them through the wash a few times?
Got some a long while ago and DAMN, they do not disappoint. As a guy who only wears basketball shorts and T-Shirts, I can definitely say they some of the best I have. I will say how that it stains fairly easy
It's nice to read comments where people have positive experiences like yours. The marketing is so awesome, it's nice when you get the product and are like "yeah, these DO make me feel great!". Nice!
Let us know what you think of them when you get them! I guess the real question is whether or not the material itself is worth even tailoring. Curious to hear what you think.
HOW THE HELL YOU ONLY HAVE 4K SUBS THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS! now that i flipped pet me say that this quality in reviews is rare nowadays, please keep doing it, and your kids are adorable
Haha, thanks for the 🔥 comment, you made my day! And yeah it takes time to grow but I'm getting there... gotta start somewhere right? Appreciate the kind words. Have a good one 👊
Aw, thanks! I need to somehow find out what kind of ads other people get because I LOVE reviewing stuff like that. What other kind of ads do you get if you don't mind me asking?
@@TheSAHDLife I’ve purchased so much crap off Facebook ads that ended up being crap. I swear Facebook promotes and pushes to the top of the page garbage ads that are boarder line scams.
Great review. Absurd mark-up for something that will shrink. I'll keep doing Gildan's from Wally World EDIT: I did check out they donate a bit/philanthropic efforts towards homeless shelters which is A+ in my book. I've read people air drying to prevent shrinkage (Constanza)
Thanks! And yeah it's tough to resist good marketing... there's no question they've got that. It's funny, other companies have been sending me shirts... GOOD shirts, so it wouldn't be hard for them to make better shirts. But then I guess that mark-up wouldn't be the same. A shame...
Excellent review…thanks. My husband is a t-shirt guy also so with that said I won’t be buying these tees. Major reason he’s not a fan of long t-shirts. Again, thanks for your honest review 👍🏼
Thanks for the comment! Glad you found the video. Yeah it really doesn't sound like it's for him. Are you wanting to find good value shirts for him that fit nice or a more premium shirt that looks good and lasts long?
@@karch6150 I have had good success with American Eagle basic shirts. I am really into natural fibres right now and only like to buy 100% cotton if possible. They have some nice colours with their 100% cotton lineup and they fit really nice. I have had lots of comments recommending Dickie's though I can't say for myself that they are good. I reviewed Bylt on my channel too and they are great but are on the longer end. They might sell a shorter shirt though and are a high quality one that I still really like and looks great YEARS later.
I have been buying t-shirts from way back in the day when Towncraft was the t-shirt to buy at J.C. Penny. Unfortunately they outsourced out of the country and the t-shirt neck was no longer tight and the material was flimsy so I dismissed that brand. Then once in a while I would find an off brand with a good tight neck and good fit. I have now moved on to the thick ones from Pro Club. They have the tight neck but the flimsy sleeves, but still the best I have seen for now. I clicked on the True Classic t-shirt one day and they took over my computer and social media. Anytime I logged on they came up like a flea sucking the blood out of me. I decided to give them a try and ordered large as that is my size. I realize all companies make clothing different sizes and some large are really medium and some large are truly large. I ordered the pack for 95 and ended up paying 105. I used to have a printed t-shirt business so I know the true price of a t-shirt is between 1.99 to 3.99, depending on the amount you buy. They took forever to be delivered. Then when I got them and I immediately put one on, because they bragged so much in their commercials. My experience was not good, A large is super tight and I am only 5'9" 175lbs. The material is super thin and flimsy. I tried to return and the site told me they are not accepting returns in my area right now. WTF!!! I kept trying and trying until after the 20th try it accepted my return and gave me a scan code. I lost about 10 dollars in shipping and taxes. I DO NOT RECCOMEND True Classic.
Thanks for sharing. That is very interesting! Since shooting this video I don't think I've even worn one... It's one thing to market that hard when you have a good product... Usually in the comments there are people defending the Brand and I haven't had that with these shirts... Tells you something eh? Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the review. Good content and your kids are adorable. Best wishes to you! I think I will stick with my standard T-shirts. I have been wearing the Stafford brand and they are A-OK.
Thanks for the comment 👊 It's so fun having the kids in the videos. As far as the shirts, it was fun to get sucked into the marketing and hyped for buying them... it's just too bad they aren't as good as you'd hope they were. You can buy such higher quality shirts for the price, and you should!
I bought some Tommy shirts I dried it once and couldn’t wear it ever again they literally went from medium to small since then I started buying a larger size so when I dry it it doesn’t be too small on me and it lives longer as it can go through more than one wash and dry and you’re absolutely right the shirt doesn’t deserve a $20 and it doesn’t look nothing like how it looks online doesn’t fit you as good either
I tried not drying my shirts for awhile there but it's too much a pain in the butt... since this video some companies have sent me actual higher quality shirts, and the materials can handle it while retaining their size... I HATE paying a high price for t-shirts but higher quality do seem to last a lot longer. What are you wearing now?
You know, there is just something special about cotton shirts isn't there? My favorites still are the Fioboc shirts which I reviewed but every once in awhile I just love wearing a 100% cotton shirt. If I see one I'll try it. Thanks for the share!
Right?! That's crazy. Since I bought them I really haven't worn them as much as I thought I would so I still feel the same way about them I did in this video.
It's a nice review but I think the issue with the fit is the website kind of makes clear if you don't want a super tight t-shirt with your current height/weight it told you to order large, but you got medium anyway. I think that's why after the wash it is a bit tight, the large might have been the better bet.
I totally agree with you however, I still stand behind the review. Ultimately the material (for the price) is not worth the money when compared to other shirts at a similar price point (like the Bylt shirt which I just reviewed). Even if the shirt fit better which I'm sure it would at a size large, I still wouldn't want it... Thanks for watching and good catch!
@@KhouryJake interesting! I have not tried or even heard about them so thanks for the share. That looks like a much more appropriate price point I would feel much better about buying. Did you say you ordered some? If you remember please let me know what you think about them, compared to other diets anyway. I'll look into it 👊 thanks man!
I've been getting that lately. haha, I love it! What are people watching where they are seeing Michael Keaton? I haven't seen anything with him in it in forever!
Never heard of them but I like that price point. Have you tried the True Classic ones, if so what did you think? Or did you manage to avoid paying the high price and stick with the Tractor Supplies...
I bought the five pack. 4 of them have been pretty perfect and did make me look way better than like a Hanes or fruit of lume for sure. The fifth one was a bit small. I don’t really wear that one. Also I’ve bought more but not for nearly full price. I always get them very discounted. My five pack was cheaper than the three pack that this guy got. Just wait till they are about 50 plus percent off and you won’t be disappointed
Yeah I think the price really effects the expectations. I've personally found other shirts that I prefer but that's rad they work and look great on you though!
I just tried True Classic and I prefer the Activewear line. Wrinkling and shrinkage always bother me with 100% cotton. I'm going to give it a bit before I decide to order any others.
It's funny you say that because I feel the same. A few companies have started sending me clothes, and the Fioboc ones I reviewed on my channel are my favorite but they too have only sold the black / white / grey / navy colors... Although I've been working with them and pushing them hard and they've finally added 2 new colors. They aren't super bold colors but still... it's nice to have a variety, especially as we enter the warmer months. Are those CK and Tommy shirts decent value? The Fioboc ones are expensive but built to last more than any other shirt I've worn.
@The SAHD Life tommy hillfiger and calvin klein are light weight they don't shrink to much. I have had some for 15 years or more and worn them to tatters. The colors I wear are black, grey, charcoal grey and navy blue. I am at Walmart and I am going to try a 6 pack of George t shirts .
@@adriancata7203 let me know what you think about the George t-shirts. I think a lot of people look through these comments so your feedback might help others!
Nice! That's a whole lineup of shirts right there. Exciting. Have you received them yet? How do they fit? It's been a couple years since I did this video... I'm curious if they're any different now. That seems like a fair deal too.
Thanks for watching 👊 yeah that's funny when you think about it that way... I reviewed Bylt shirts on my channel and those felt long. These didn't necessarily feel ridiculously long... perhaps since they shrunk so quick.
IMO opinion, the only T-shirts I buy are the target brand Goodfellow. They cost enough that they can be worn outside, and they last long enough that you're not kicking yourself for spending true classic t money.
Have never heard of that brand (we don't have Target anymore in Canada 😭)... but it's nice finding those awesome value shirts that look good and don't cost too much.
I just received my 3 pack. I like the shirts BUT they are too thin for me. the fit is nice but the material is too thin. Other than that they are fine. This review is very accurate, i experience the same thing. I ordered the 3 pack polo shirt because this is what I wear now days. All in all will I order again? NOPE!
You'll have to let me know how the quality maintains after a couple washes. A few companies have sent me shirts since then and to be honest, True Classic is easily at the bottom of the pack when it comes to which shirts I reach for. The best marketing though!
As others said, being T-shirts for every day, I don't want to have to be there to do "special" washes for these T-shirts that should be easy to use, then personally I prefer T-shirts that are not too fine, maybe they keep a little warmer, but if the material is good, it shouldn't bother you. Also another sore point as you said is the price: there are certainly lower priced brands with the same or higher quality. The pro is that the advertisements are well done and are also nice and fun, but this is only a marginal aspect, the quality-price product must be the strong point and the reason for the purchase. Ps. Sorry for my English
You are very right! The ads raise awareness and get people thinking that hey, maybe better quality t-shirts would be nice. And it's true. Just not their own particular t-shirts lol
these same shirts cost $5 on this other site online. True Classic just buys them from there, print their logo where the tag should go and charge a crazy amount for them to make a profit. These shirts are so comfortable, I have them in different colors.
I was going to buy some, but watching your review really makes me doubt and think is not the best option tbh, i just order 2 Amazon Essentials and they fit well, now i was thinking on trying this ones... but now i'm not sure
I think IF you can get them on a wicked sale for the colors you want, they are okay shirts. Certainly nothing special. It's been awhile since I ordered them so I have considered trying them again... but I hate wasting money so I don't want to take the risk again lol.
I'm actually going to give the bench ones a try, they looked better than the true classic ones. I'm as tall as you and just a little bit puffier 😄. So I now know how it will fit on me. Thanks!
Haha awesome! You just can't beat the price of those bench shirts. Since this video a few companies have sent me shirts, and the ones I wear daily are the Fioboc ones... I did a video on them. They aren't the cheapest but they're all I want to wear. It's tough because the company is starting to create styles I don't like, but their basic clothing is just the best. But value-wise, those Bench ones are a good choice 👌
When I look at the comparison I directly choose two on the right assuming it was classic t because it looks way more flattering, guess it didn’t do it’s job fr
Right? Marketing-wise True Classic is top tier... it's just a shame their product quality doesn't match. Who knows, maybe they'll make some changes over time if they see enough videos like this.
Thanks! You can't beat the price for those v-necks either that's for sure. Even if the True Classic shirts look a little better, the value just isn't there. $5 per v-neck vs $30 per plain TC shirt...
The best possible T Shirt you can buy are the Kirkland brand multi packs. They’re just like the True Classic but they’re made of thick durable cotton. They’re also very affordable. You’re Welcome.
The biggest beef I have with these are the length, I'm right at 6' and they have the "toddler droop" as I like to call it. Believe it or not they didn't shrink very much at all, was surprised at that. But the toddler onesie length is a no go for me. If you're 6'4 or something, these would be good
Yeah they're not the worst shirt at all... how does the collar sit on you? I still have mine from when I made this video and the collar is a little higher than I'd like. I don't mind the shoulders/arm size though.
@@TheSAHDLife I actually don't mind the collar. It sits ok and flat. It's just the length is disproportionately designed for highly above average height individuals. I'm not short but these things hang like a toddler dragging a blankie. Arms and texture are on point in my opinion
Mark's has a buy 1 get for 1/2 price deal. Mark's t-shirts are excellent quality, fit great, and are guaranteed not to pil for 50 washes. They cost much less than True Classic.
Lol I bought mine 2 years ago and was wondering if anybody else were buying these shirts so I came here, and every problem you pointed out was true. I do love the shirts but they have their problems
Yeah they're not the worst shirts right? It's just they are marketed as a premium shirt and that is reflected in the cost. If my expectations were set differently it would have been a different review. I'm almost tempted to order more now and see if they've changed but...
I juat bought a mustard shirt classic tee and a black polo, I will say the first thing I noticed was how thin they were and they fit a lil above average. I only bought it bc I was emailed a free shirt coupon from making an account there months ago that I forgot about. Definitely not worth it if ur paying full price
I had a cart saved for 2 days, went back to the cart, and some of the "packs" went up $20-$40 with no warning, apparently with the same promo running on their website.... I don't understand
Yeah that's weird. Hopefully if you are going to buy them you can find the same sale (or a better one) available on their website or through maybe an ad promotion. I'm not too familiar with them in particular but I know websites run different promotions almost daily.
They are soft for sure. And that's nice you got the right fit. We'll have to check back in with you in a couple of months to see what the durability is like!
My pleasure. Hoping I can save people money! They aren't the worst shirts in the world... if you can get them on a wicked sale, sure. But at full price!!! Nope. Not even a little lol.
I just ordered 2 and now I’ve seen back to back videos of people talking about how these shirts are kinda booty. Never again will I put UA-cam product reviews last
Haha I know the feeling my friend. You'll have to let me know what you think once you get them and put them through the wash once or twice. I still wear mine.... Under sweaters!! Lol
Great review! Do you have any brands you would recommend that do what True Classic claims to do, but better? And if not, what brands would you recommend in general? Thanks in advance!
Thanks so much! Appreciate it. To answer your first question, no, I can't say I've found a shirt that compensates for the covid weight I've put on lol. BUT yes I have found other great shirts... I even reviewed two others on my channel and I can still say at this point MONTHS later, the shirts I've got from Fioboc are all I wear. It's fun because they are a growing company but they still haven't found how to market properly. I don't like the styles they are putting on shirts at the moment, but their quality and durability is top notch. Their plain white / navy / black Staingo t-shirts are just the best. Highly recommend. Check out my review of their shirts here: ua-cam.com/video/zRjWmyNavk4/v-deo.html
Best t-shirts I’ve tried are Charles Wilson. They’re really good quality. I bought some of their plain T-shirts to have my company logo embroidered on for my employees to wear. Ended up buying a load for myself. Perfect fit for me and true to size. Much better than any of the big brand T-shirts I’ve tried out. Quite thick as well which I prefer over thin.

Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it.
I will always tell it like I see it! You can't buy me!!
Funny you said that I clicked the video first thing that plays is their ad
I wish he told us whether the shirts are 100% cotton. That’s hard to find nowdays but the polyester and spandex blends are prone to odor problems and feel too hot when I exercise in them (like my shirt is part plastic bag). Of course if a cottong shirt is too thick it will be too hot for exercise too, but will last longer.

I definitely bought the wrong size and in hindsight, should have did what you did. With that being said, after a couple washes I was pretty disappointed with the material. Have yours been ok so far? I went on a t-shirt kick for awhile there, and the other shirts I purchased & reviewed have held up so much better. I'll do a follow-up review on the clothes in a few months.
you have to order YOUR size, its all good though.
They shrink due to drying right but what if normal sun dry? Will it shrink?
I always hang my clothes indoor on a clothes line@michaellouielim3957
Thanks for the review, bro. I was curious about these shirts. You saved me some cash. 👍🏾
Glad I could help! Check out my Fioboc review if you want to try some good ones. The company is still early in growth but their t-shirts are dope. They aren't cheap though.
You answered every question I thought about these shirts. Perfect review! Thank you 😁
Thanks for much! Really appreciate the kind words.
They have great ads, I enjoy them. But I want to pay for a quality product and not pay for the marketing overhead.
Thanks for the honest review.
Fully agree. Nothing worse than taking a shirt out of the wash and being like "what HAPPENED?!" 👊 thanks for watching!
@@TheSAHDLife Thank you, and yeah I totally agree with you on that! Not worth it if you're not in the US!
Thanks for the review!
yeah i 100% agree i've owned their shirts for 2 years and the navy fits so perfectly but the other colors don't fit the same which annoys me a lot.
Thank you so much for an honest review. Especially the mention of them being “nipply”. I hate it when I buy a good looking shirt only to realize later that my nips look like they’re trying to put on a show.
Hahaha! I'm glad it helped. It's annoying when it's like "hello my eyes are up here!"
@@TheSAHDLife 😂
Thanks for this! Their relentless marketing almost got me, but yoy saved me! ❤ Love the positive vibes!
Glad you found the video 👊 I know right? It's a bummer the product isn't as good as their marketing.
I appreciate the comment!
This review was spot on to what I noticed. I tried one on in a local store and was surprised to find them so thin and "nipply" as you appropriately described. Pass for me.
Haha, that's just funny to read. Yeah it's a bummer they couldn't quite live up to their great marketing!
Thanks for the comment 👊
I came here to find out about tshirts and left a fan. As a fellow stay at home dad, I’m so happy I found this!
LOVE reading a comment like this. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it 👊
How old are you'd kiddos?
Amazing! Glad you found the video... I'll have to check those out. I need to update my t-shirts soon too.
@@TheSAHDLife yup Def going to try
Thanks for the honest review. Those are quite rare on YT nowadays. I wanted to try a 6pack for $99. Changed country to The Netherlands, and boom, price went up to €130!!! Never mind, I'll stick with my €4 shirts from Primark.
Oof! Yeah that is definitely not worth it for such a basic shirt. Really slick marketing though right?
I have been through quite a lot of shirts over the last couple years and to be honest, I'm back to the 100% natural fibres now anyway. These polyester blends just carry the smell and aren't as good for the earth.
Thank you for the honest review. The shrinking and pricing part gave me the answer I needed. No thanks. I'm too broke for those shirts.
Haha my pleasure! And thanks for the comment. You know I still wear them every now and then... under sweaters.
My only reasoning for getting them is because I’m 6’ 5” 260lb and couldn’t never find a shirt that fit with out showing my belly. I love them!
Yeah that's awesome! It seems like they originally created the shirts for bigger guys but then started marketing them to everyone.
I just bought this pack for my husband. You were on point on EVERYTHING. Took the words out of our mouth.
Comments like this are just the best! Thank you for sharing that. If only their clothing was as good as their marketing lol!
If your husband worked out you wouldn’t have to buy shirts that make him look better. 😂😂
I’m literally on a quest to find the perfect white t-shirt myself. I’ve been buying so many different brands and most are disappointing.
Goldtoe has some pretty good white tshirts
I think I found mine in American Eagle's super soft t-shirts
I've been doing this for the last year and I've spent a fortune.
Tommy Hilfiger fits me like a gem
I have now reviewed multiple T-shirts on my channel and in case you are curious THESE are by far my favorites: ua-cam.com/video/zRjWmyNavk4/v-deo.html
Right? hey have great marketing, it's too bad their shirts aren't as good :(
Glad I watched this.
Tremendous
Heh yeesh. Yeah their quality control doesn't seem on the same level as their marketing, sadly
Thanks for the honesty and for knowing the best games show episode ever with the gilbert godfried meme. 😅
Hahaha 👊 glad you found the video and thanks for the comment!
That was an AWESOME review. Very informative, and spot on the the info I wanted. Nice job!
Thank you for saying! I really appreciate it. Glad you found the video 👊
I'm 6"2 190 lbs and the large-tall t's are perfect after I wash and dry them. Best t's I've found!
That's sweet! This video is a couple years old now. I am often curious if they've changed their quality. Tempting to try again.
Great review. I almost pulled the trigger on these shirts.
Off to costco I go!
Glad you found the video! Your money will be much better spent there 👊
thank you for this video... Ads were good. I was almost fooled..
I know right? Glad I could help. You know if the price point wasn't as high, I'd let them get away with it a little more... but my gosh at the price, c'mon.
THESE SHIRTS ARE AWESOME-
v neck, crew neck, underwear, are GREAT!!
@@TheSAHDLifethe underwear is really nice…socks, Meh👍
If you have muscles any HnM or t-shirt bought from the mall will fit you good
The idea of these shirts was of you're chubby muscly, basically the average Joe gym bro that doesn't bother with a tryhard healthy diet
Ouch on the cost per shirt!! The Bench v-neck looked great.
Right? That's a LOT for a plain t-shirt... Costco 4-pack for the win! Not quite the SAXX equivalent of tees.
I got these for like $10CDN and they are definitely worth that price point, but $30 is outrageous
Since this video I've received other T-shirts from companies and the True Classic ones don't get much wear from me.... but like you said, for that price point, if you get the right size in maybe some cool colors, they are decent. I'm still not confident they would last that long but at that price they don't have to!
Thanks for saving me money man, good review
Awesome! Glad you found the video 👊 thanks for the comment.
@@TheSAHDLife Have you found the ultimate, nice fitting, yet affordable T yet? If so, can we get a round up and reveal please?
Nice!
I've decided to buy one size bigger than my usual size, then get my tee's tailored in the length and arms. The tailoring is not expensive at all.
Thank-you for the honest review! We need more reviewers like you for FaceBook ads!
I'll keep doing Gildan's from Wally World
EDIT: I did check out they donate a bit/philanthropic efforts towards homeless shelters which is A+ in my book.
A shame...
Great vid. Saved me 75 bucks!
That's what I love to hear! 👊 glad I could help!
I was close to buying one when I saw this video. Thanks. I prefer a thicker fabric due to the 'nipply' show that I really dislike.
Haha right? I live in Canada too so... 'nipply' season is half the year lol
@@TheSAHDLife Yes, do have any in mind?
This is my first watched video of yours. Your voice cracking like Peter Brady so often, kept making me laugh. 😂
Thanks for watching! What can I say, I get excited when making videos! lol
Hollister t shirts are my favorite. They are 100 percent cotton and they fit really well
You know, there is just something special about cotton shirts isn't there? My favorites still are the Fioboc shirts which I reviewed but every once in awhile I just love wearing a 100% cotton shirt. If I see one I'll try it. Thanks for the share!
I have never seen clothing attract as much pet fur as these. It's like the shirts are made of the same materials as lint rollers.
Ohhh that's an interesting take! We don't have pets so I had no clue. Thanks for sharing 👊
I ordered 3 to try out. The shirts I get from Walmart for 4.99 fit way better. I obviously sent them back the same day
Right?! That's crazy. Since I bought them I really haven't worn them as much as I thought I would so I still feel the same way about them I did in this video.
I go for Fruit of the Loom, 15 bucks for a pack of 5. Last quite a while as well.
Yeah and you just can't beat that price either... honestly probably pretty similar in styles too for a fraction of the price! Nice find.
Step it up just a notch and try Hanes, better fit- at least for me ;)
It's a nice review but I think the issue with the fit is the website kind of makes clear if you don't want a super tight t-shirt with your current height/weight it told you to order large, but you got medium anyway.

No problem, glad you found the video! 👊
Was thinking about getting them. Not so hyped. I been wearing the target goodfellow 3 pack tees love them. Review goodfellow next
We don't have Target up here in Canada anymore but if I see them I'll check them out. I've heard good things! Good price too right?
Tractor Supply has a line of tees called iron mountain I think, comfortable, a little stretch too for around $9.00
Great review! Well written, delivered, and edited.
Thanks! I really appreciate it 👊
I just tried True Classic and I prefer the Activewear line. Wrinkling and shrinkage always bother me with 100% cotton. I'm going to give it a bit before I decide to order any others.
What did you think of the shirts overall? Have you had them for a few washes yet or are they still pretty new?
I wear calvin klein black crew neck undershirts and tommy hillfiger they are great but they don't have a lot of color choices like charcoal Grey.
Just got the 3-pack thanks for the honest review I’ll give them a chance
Hopefully they are great for you! If you remember please come back and give us an update after a few washes!
I just bought the 12-pack for $150.00 USD. Thanks for the review, I'll plan on air drying them every wash. Do machine dry for these guys. Thank you.
Nice! That's a whole lineup of shirts right there. Exciting. Have you received them yet? How do they fit? It's been a couple years since I did this video... I'm curious if they're any different now. That seems like a fair deal too.
Appreciate the honesty. Keep it up! 👍
Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it 👊
says on the website the shirt for me is 90cm long!!!! I'm 180cm.... That's ridiculous....
good review mate 👍
Solid review mate thanks 👍
Glad you found the video! Thanks for the comment 👊
Thanks for the honest review
Thanks for saying, I appreciate it.
Loved the review, thanks man 👏🏻
thanks for watching 👊 appreciate it!
these same shirts cost $5 on this other site online. True Classic just buys them from there, print their logo where the tag should go and charge a crazy amount for them to make a profit. These shirts are so comfortable, I have them in different colors.
Yeah?! If you want to share the site I'm sure a lot of other people would appreciate it.
That's awesome.
Where do you get them from?
The bench v-neck looks very good on you.
Thanks! You can't beat the price for those v-necks either that's for sure. Even if the True Classic shirts look a little better, the value just isn't there. $5 per v-neck vs $30 per plain TC shirt...
That's true!! I have try other brands.. But it is not the same.. Have to return them. True Classic is the real thing.. Highly recommended.
Hehe I don't think you watched the video 😉
Nice family! Thank you for the review.
👊 Thanks for the comment. Really appreciate it!
The best possible T Shirt you can buy are the Kirkland brand multi packs. They’re just like the True Classic but they’re made of thick durable cotton. They’re also very affordable. You’re Welcome.
Hard to beat that value right? Nice share!
@@roblincoln10 yeah it's funny that's the style. I don't like it either. Are we just old?
@@TheSAHDLife maybe we are LMAO
Mark's has a buy 1 get for 1/2 price deal. Mark's t-shirts are excellent quality, fit great, and are guaranteed not to pil for 50 washes. They cost much less than True Classic.
Nice share, thanks! 👊 I haven't bought a Mark's shirt so I'll check it out.
Well that's interesting. I'll be curious how you feel about it after a few washes. Don't put it in the dryer 🤣
Great review, helpful!
Glad you found it thanks for watching! 👊
Good and honest review, love it
Thanks for the support man, really appreciate it 👊
I had a cart saved for 2 days, went back to the cart, and some of the "packs" went up $20-$40 with no warning, apparently with the same promo running on their website.... I don't understand
Yeah that's weird. Hopefully if you are going to buy them you can find the same sale (or a better one) available on their website or through maybe an ad promotion. I'm not too familiar with them in particular but I know websites run different promotions almost daily.
Got them on sale at $18.00 each, they are very soft and fit well. Perfect for a muscular body.
They are soft for sure. And that's nice you got the right fit. We'll have to check back in with you in a couple of months to see what the durability is like!
What are they like now? Still worth it?
Thanks for honesty
My pleasure. Hoping I can save people money! They aren't the worst shirts in the world... if you can get them on a wicked sale, sure. But at full price!!! Nope. Not even a little lol.
You need to be in a large at 5’ 10” and 185. That would fit far better
You are absolutely right. I have since lost 5 or 6 pounds and they fit better now but still... quality-wise they don't compare to my other shirts.
I got 2 tracksuits and a one shirt from them the active ver of the shirt i hope i like then
Nice! Yeah let us know. It's been awhile since I made this video. Part of me is tempted to try again and see if they're any better.
Hey man what were the other two tees you were wearing in the start of the first impression part of the video ?
I believe they were just the cheap colored Tee's from H&M (like $5-8 each kinda thing)!
Lol
great actual review
Thanks, I appreciate it 👊
lol.. i come to this review... and the ad i get for it............................................ TRUE Classic Tee ad ......
No WAY! Haha that's amazing. Ironic.
UCXX are the best fitting & best priced t-shirts. Period!
Interesting, I've never heard of them. There marketing looks very similar to True Classic!
Great review
Thanks for saying! Appreciate it.
That's great. Where are you/they located? I am not familiar with the brand. Reasonable price?
