Get Better and Faster Results When Sharpening Curved Cabinet/Card Scrapers

Curved cabinet scrapers can be an indispensable tool to have in any shop. They can make short work of smoothing juice grooves, flutes, and intricate moldings, but they can also be a headache to sharpen correctly. I have developed a technique to sharpen curved cabinet scrapers that takes less time and yields superior results than any other method. My approach involves using small drum sanders in the drill press outfitted with 3M Cubitron II PSA sandpaper to smooth and polish the edge, the Cabinet Scraper Prep Kit with a magnetic handle to polish the faces, and the Patent Pending Accu-Burr burnisher to turn the perfect burr. Wow...amazing ideas at all...I have similar scrapers and they already need a sharp edges...Accu-Burr is realy nice but I have only one small burnisher from Lee Valley...I hope it works as yours... thanks for sharing
