I have a problem that I believe hinders me from finding deities. Self love, I do not have any, with my life experiences/happenings what ever you want to call them. I believe this all holds me back. I have been trying to reach divinity since April of this year. Prior to this I was ready to die, literally. I have found the wiccan tradition and this seems to be the path for me as I don't have the trust of the traditional religions'. I am a earth based person who loves the outside so to celebrate the earth has given me strength. I hope that you can shed some light as to how to love myself

This understanding is so, so needed in this society and in the world. I feel disheartened that the only aspect of Woman which is acceptable to the ruling patriarchy is the sexual, Aphrodite aspect. As an elderly woman, I feel the only way to promote the Sacred Feminine for me is to withdraw from mainstream society altogether.

RoseAnd TheWinterStorm There are so many wonderful books on goddesses from different cultures and times, but actually not one I have found that specifically discusses the Triple Goddess (usually it's just a chapter). Maybe it's a sign for me to write one as I have always felt called to. Something I recommend in the meantime however is the Goddess Oracle card deck by Doreen Virtue, as she channels messages from each goddess, has a little book to give background on each one and you always have their inspiration when you pull the cards. It's a beautifully empowering tool for any woman. I hope that helps
