I had half a thought about Kratos investigating Osiris's death while trying to intervene in Horus's life before Horus crosses the line like Kratos did in the Greek Saga. Egypt would be interesting but it feels like the safest option of the hints presented in 2018.
Definitely feels like the safest option and I'm curious if the developers decide to go down that route. Even so, I'd love to see Egypt as a setting in a GOW game
Fun My Life. Have you played Symphony of The Night lately? That's a fun game. Easy as pie too. Unlike Skyrim Symphony doesn't tell you your not supposed to be somewhere by slaughtering you until you give up. Trust me, I've been there. It's a pain having to erase a good file, because you're repeatedly getting your was handed to you. Skyrim does punish intelligent leveling. Examples include paying 400+ gold for a steel shield, because you leveled two-handed instead of speech. Or you leveled archery instead of two-handed or block. Speech does NOT reduce the price of houses, horses, war-dogs or the face sculpture.
I have not played SotN recently - only as a kid, but I loved that game. I played Bloodstained as well and liked it but still prefer Castlevania. Have you tried Bloodstained? I like Skyrim, but yeah the points you bring up about that are certainly valid. I loved the exploration and the world building but the combat and levelling systems were really not my thing
I definitely think there are WAY more Egyptian hints in both games then any other mythology. I think Atreus will go first. And Kratos will have to go rescue/help

Fun My Life. Yes, Castlevania Curse of Darkness is really good. It's basically a remake Symphony of The Night. It's really 5 or 6 years ahead of it's time. A lot of stuff you would be able to do on Skyrim 6 years later. Weapon and armor forging, pickpocket enemies, monster riding etc. You play the game as Hector, a Devil Forgemaster. You are hunting down Isaac for the murder of your wife. As you progress in the game you collect 5 innocent devil, 6 if you forge a special weapon called the Pumpkin Made. You can make innocent devils, like Crimson, a fire breathing dragon and iettie. An innocent devil that you can ride, like Kratos ride a cyclops. You can even make a frying pan. If you do the right combo it will flair up.
It would be really cool if we got 1 game in Egypt where kratos is struggling by his self emotionally mixed with depression and rage of being alone again then at the end someone tells him atreus needs his help back in Norse realm and then we get another game in the Norse then the two travel back together as a pair to Egypt for two more games.
I plan to do many more mythologies in a format just like this, with Japanese next, followed by Mayan, Celtic, and then Chinese. I started a new playlist just for these videos too! Thanks for being an awesome viewer. Greatly appreciate it!

No, the director of the game said in an interview that there is a specific reason that Tyr is going the animations that he is when you find him post game. All the animations are Eastern influence, not Egyptian. He is doing yoga and meditation poses, so I'm betting perhaps India. There are some possibilities there, perhaps Shiva attempts to destroy the world and he has to travel there because it would destroy Midgard too. I'm doubting Japanese or Buddhism because the pantheons just aren't large enough.
True, and I've done videos on that, but I argue that Eric said that to throw us off course. Getting our expectations up just to pull a fast one on us. I will be covering the eastern mythologies in future videos similar to this one to help generate a basic idea about these mythologies
Japanese mythology has plenty of gods bro. Susanoo, Hachiman, Tsukuyomi, Kagu-Tsuchi, Amaterasu, Raijin... not to mention a crap ton of monsters as Yokai.
I don’t think Indian mythology would happen as there are many people who actually worship it. I think continuing picking dead mythologies is a better idea.
I hope you find Castlevania Curse of Darkness, please let me know when you do.❤️ Honestly, Skyrim is a good game. My grievance with it is this. You're encouraged to create reasonably strict characters. For example. Light armor man or heavy armor man. Light armor man uses one-handed, two-handed and block, but so does heavy armor man. Mage is reasonably assumed to use oak flesh, stone flesh and ebony flesh instead of armor. But those magics complement the use of armor. Suppose for example that I enchanted all my swords with absorb health and absorb stamina. Then I enchantment all my armors with fortify health and stamina. For the most part the game would be a piece of cake. Who doesn't love banana bread? I want to use skills where they make sense. You're naturally going to use light armor where it's appropriate, heavy armor where it's appropriate one-handed, two-handed etc. This means leveling all the skills and being defined by what you do most.
Fun My Life. Castlevania is a better series than Elder Scrolls. You're not push-buttoning your way through unskipable conversations, you have a tightly woven story for the character you are playing, you can diverge (within reason) without breaking continuity, you can enjoy cutscenes (which you CAN'T do on Skyrim and still enjoy the experience.
To each their own. I wouldn't compare them myself, but I know where you're coming from. I like Skyrim, but I honestly liked Oblivion more, even though its gameplay is admittedly worse than Skyrim's. Hope to see Castlevania make a resurgence
Fun My Life. Hey guy, how are you today? It's a beautiful, but cold day here in Statesville North Carolina. What do you think of the Castlevania series? Do you like Epic Rap Battles Of History? I think some of them pretty good. I want to write one between Vlad Dracula and Hannibal Lecter. Interesting fact, the name Hannibal means (Glory of Ba'al). In The Holy Bible Ba'al is Satan. So Hannibal means Glory of Satan. Pretty messed up, right? I love Egyptian mythology. That stuff really happened. The Book of Enoch is full of it. Watch the documentary Nephalim by Trey Smith, it's very interesting.
Yo! Glad to hear you're doing well, bro. I'm doing alright myself. I like the Castlevania series. Played through them on the PS1 when I was really young but haven't played any of the newer ones, like the 3D ones. Are they any good? I love Egyptian mythology as well. Really hope the devs tackle this mythology in the future
If kratos goes to edgypt I hope the story is dark grittier more mature, I hope they change the game and give us more weapons magic skills ect the Norse saga gameplay was a huge let down
Since Atreus probably won't go, I could see the next game being more adult since he will be on his own. I hope they don't try to shoe-horn Freya in as a love interest, because it wouldn't make sense character-wise, even though they left them off as a team.
Spoiler: Quick question... why did Thor dissolve into light when he died, but Baldur left behind a body? I thought it might be because he is half-Vanir, but Heimdall was an Aesir and he didn't dissolve when Kratos killed him. Could Thor be alive and just teleported? Could Heimdall possibly still be alive because he didn't dissolve? I assumed Odin didn't because his body was still technically alive, just empty.
@@funmylife9248 ooooooo so that means Santa Monica is gonna have more GOW games for us in the future typically maybe in an Egyptian setting like everyone has claimed already
