How can I contact you sir? I film live performances from local bands and I would like to do a 'beauty of local live music' that would motivate people to go out and check bands in their own city, and also since its all done with a normal phone camera it will motivate them to just go outside and shoot footage. I am happy to donate the footage and the edit
that's not human. that's just women. always trying to level up. men are more so content with what they have. women always think the grass is greener and are never content
@@narrowboatphotography2615 at one time they are but not anymore. This line in the movie reminds me of this: "The Na Young you remember doesn’t exist here. … She’s not sitting here in front of you, but that doesn’t mean she’s not real. Twenty years ago, I left her behind with you"...
Such stunning cinematography throughout that beautifully reflects the inner feelings of both characters. You could watch this without sound or subtitles and not only be able to follow the story, but would also likely experience a similar dept of emotion as you would watching it regularly. Shocking it didn’t get nominated in this category
imagine when i am 40 up and i catch moment meeting my lovers back in my 20s, i wonder what we are gonna say, talk about or the plan we used to have together or just telling about our life at the moment
Man the cinematography and background music in this movie was so good. Another reason this movie was a success, it expanded it's wing from just simple romance to life and choices in general. I wonder when we'll get another movie of such caliber?😊
Brilliant film. Slightly surprised to not see my favourite shot of the movie included here though; the one where you see him open the door to his hotel room in the reflection of the window, just a beautiful and clever use of light and reflections to make a very mundane shot into something extraordinary.
I'm surprised the one on the train where their hands almost touch isn't here either. But that's the beauty of this film, so many beautiful scenes to choose from, so little time.
Shot selection in this movie is what makes it a mesmerizing experience. Shots are build so well in composition, lighting, lens choice, color and blocking. The slow pace of the film is justified by those shots because you can just sit and watch every frame of it.
Ever since I saw it, I spend my days listening to the sountrack. There is something so deep in her story, it's not complex or perfect, it's just human.
I saw this a month ago .. right after the opening bar scene when another off camera person was speculating who the three of them were to each other… an hour and a half later I am crying my eyes out. Watched it 4 times since and even videoed the scene at the bar where Hae Sung speaks of how it hurts to like Arthur and then Nora exposing about leaving her 12 year old self behind with Hae Sung and then he says even though he was only 12 he loved her… then that walk with the music after Hae Sung leaves… tearing up as I type this. This is what film making /movies used to be. That it’s her first time directing is amazing. I pick up more things each time I watch but I always am waiting for the last 10 minutes of the movie. Showing Hae Sung looking out the window of the car at the end mirrored him doing the same after their date when they were 12… just perfect movie
Love how you managed to do this without giving spoiler shots. This is even better than the trailer itself which in my opinions gives way too much from the get go. This is subtle and perfect.
Love this edit and the film. The beautiful score should've been nominated for an Oscar. This edit does a good job highlighting the film's gentle glimpses of New York. I made my own edit on my channel focused on Hae Sung's longing for his childhood friend, to the tune of Mazzy Star's Fade Into You. I hope you enjoy it.
Your comment piqued my curiosity. Your channel is really very good considering you only have 8 subscribers! I liked the Past Lives and Anatomy of a Fall videos. I haven't seen Monster yet so I haven't watched that one yet... But great effort with your videos. You now have 9 subscribers 🙌🙂

Great cinematography! Shame that it did not get nominated for best in cinematography. Also loved the original score, directing, and subtle performance of Greta and Teo. Loooved this film so much and I'm not even into romance and love stories but this broke my heart.
i love this film like adore it but im not going to able to love it the way i want to i saw this in liverpool back in september of last year with someone who i truly thought was special in every way possible and not that person wont ever be that person i once saw magic in their eyes, all i see is her every time i think of past lives and all i can think tio myself is "could it have worked out?". "could we become one in the future again?" will i ever love again?" and all i can feel is just this big feeling of what could of been...
Your content and this youtube channel very beautiful and lovely and I’m lucky to stumble upon it , I don’t know if you take requests but if you do can you please do beauty of where the wild things are please? It’s a very beautiful movie and my favorite growing up
Watched this in the middle seat on a flight. As a korean adoptee, something about this movie hit home. Needless to say, not a great movie to watch on an airplane in the middle seat lol.
Я не видел первую любовь (безответную) 19 лет,встретил на вечере выпускников,и через две недели позвал на этот фильм. Но она отказалась идти со мной. Так что в жизни,как и в этом кино.

@@LenaDerti Minari is truly amazing. I thought it was so much better than this movie in every way.
Movie of the year for me. It shattered my heart to pieces, mended it, then broke it again. And I loved every second of it
Why did it break your heart, it's because she didn't cheat on her husband?

aaawww...😊
Best movie of 2023. Touching, lovely, beautiful. It made me cry at the end.
This film touches something fundamental of the human being.
What if I was with him/her?
Um dilema intrínseco do ser humano.
um filme que ecoa "e se", "nem só de amor se nasce/vive uma relação" e "a vida não funciona assim..."

exactly! i don't think enough people care about simple but beautiful stories
Same, I have to appreciate this pieces by myself alone and I enjoy it. But I'd like to talk about it with people who enjoy it
I do too. I would love to meet people who love this movie (especially) and other movies that are absolutely beautiful.
I'm leaving this comment here so whenever likes it, I'll come back and listen to this masterpiece again 😢👋
Beautiful movie. Enjoy
I hope more people find this gem, it truly was an experience especially seeing it in theaters. Film of the year for me, truly beautiful
So much of grief is about mourning things that were unfinished...
Doing that right now. Sad when people leave your life... We're they ever who you thought they were?

Yo completely agree. I tell ppl all the time that Shabier Kirchner shot the shit out of this film and deserved a nomination.
love 'See you.' It's beautifully composed, giving the sense of separation from someone important yet satisfying, just like this film

I loved this movie. It's not flashy looking, but I found myself drinking in so many of the shots.

Great video. Not enough has been said about this masterpiece of a film's visuals. Should have been Oscar nominated for Best Cinematography.
