Whatever you think of it, it's really remarkable that Musk got something like this made. It's just so unique and quite frankly I want one
I'd never want one based on the shape or aesthetics alone, but the technology truly is the future and just better.
Didn't think I wanted one until the reviews started coming out.
How well do you utilize a one time opportunity? Have you being following tesla recent innovation? Are you concerned about buying shares at tesla?
I love how truck owners want to hate on it but then they see it and they're thinking, damn my truck is a dinosaur. 😂
As a ford super duty owner, I have seen the cyber truck around my town and think it is cool. But you are not understanding the excitement u see from traditional truck owners. Many of us think it is cool. Many of us think it is ground breaking design.
Would I buy one....no. The functionality and specs offered by it cannot replace my super duty including pulling my camper on long road trips. Problem for tesla will be turning excitement into sales. Cyber truck in its current configuration is meant for people who don't need to tow long distances and only use their half ton for home depot runs.
There is nothing that this truck does better than my ice super duty. The thing you will claim is tow short distances due to having more torque but if I need to tow long distances I don't care about towing only 100 miles. Cool truck. Cool design. Exciting seeing the first one. If I wanted a truck for around town and home depot runs I would get a rivian.

@NickWindham just a preference. Cybertruck is cool and I wouldn't say no to one if one was made available to me. Probably take the Cybertruck if taking into account the charging network. Big fan of evs and new tech.

My wife and I saw two of these at the Tesla Service Center in Pensacola last Sunday. It was something else!!!
That's my service center! Were they deliveries or show vehicles? I did not know they were making deliveries here yet. I'm 1.5 hours north of Pensacola.
We were there in January and hoped they’d have one. But we’ve had one here in Tulsa for the last two weeks. Just got back from the monthly Tulsa Cars and Coffee - it was crazy crowded! It had been set up with the tent and inside at the Service Center, but wind was too strong this morning. Tulsa Home and Garden Show is next and inside, so it will have the CT with tent.
@@RxPharmer - they were vehicles for customers. I was there the next morning for a demo drive of the new 3. They told me they didn’t even know the trucks were scheduled to arrive.

I have seen two cyber trucks in south florida!!! One on 595 in Ft. Lauderdale…..last week……& 2 days ago…..i saw one in miami~~. I was so shocked! I didnt have time to take a pic!!! Yes!! I was watching!! I’m still in awe!

It’s growing on me. Also, I have to say that that delete service actually works. I used to get Robo calls 10 times a day at least. I haven’t had one since signing up a couple months ago.

Sometimes wraps I think can be workable ... but I've seen a number of wraps with the Cyber Truck now and I have to say in this particular case, I think it should be left AS-IS. That "Starship Silver" exterior is just awesome.

I'm looking forward to my first sighting in Dallas! I asked the valet people at the Ritz Carlton about 10 days ago whether they had seen one and one of the guys had seen one driving past (it's obviously in a very nice area of Dallas where people have a lot of money) and took a picture of it, so I know there probably is at least one in Dallas.
I remember my first time seeing a Tesla up close, which was in LA while I had just finished riding my first-generation SEGWAY from the Los Angeles side over to the Valley through the Hollywood Hills (so, a rare Segway owner - another revolutionary electric vehicle - had just made a trip that probably no one in history had made up to that point - taking a Segway from LA over to the Valley).
When I got into the Valley side I saw the Roadster at a car wash and we both geeked out about each other's vehicle! He showed me the battery compartment and it was so wild seeing the cooling apparatus and all those round "laptop batteries" strung together etc.). Unfortunately, I didn't get a ride in the Roadster (nor did he get a ride on my Segway LOL) 🙂
My Local Tesla service center had a Cybertruck in their showroom. You are right--it is WAY more impressive IRL . The pictures don't do it justice. And the screen looks like a 4K TV. I wish my 2023 Y/LR had a screen like that.

My Foundation Series reservation came up but I'm passing on it. Will reconsider when it's offered at the actual price and not the price gouging 20k markup. If I wanted a marked up, unwanted addon ev I'd go to a ford dealership and get an F-150 lightning. Great video as always though!

Can you turn the rearview camera off? That would make me dizzy seeing that on the screen while driving. GM's digital mirrors are even worse because of the location being constantly in my peripheral. I would never use the digital option because of that.

Do you own a Tesla?
Most top-end ICE trucks and SUVs have a video screen in the rear view mirror that's connected to the rear-facing camera. They don't really need it, but they have it. The Cybertruck needs it, and there's absolutely no reason for Tesla not to do that in this truck. Putting it in the dash screen...adding yet ANOTHER thing to that screen where EVERYTHING ELSE lives on a Tesla...is just lame and/or lazy. That and the fact that they shrank it from the original intent vehicle are my only real disappointments with the Cybertruck. The thing looks so cool. Wish I could get one, but I think the waiting list is like 4-5 years long now.
In addition to Windex, I also understand WD40 is good at polishing blemishes and fingerprints out of stainless steel.
Best part of the video is when he claims it's a sub 1000 vehicle. Tesla knows the crowd spending his much money is going to be nitpicking small things. They're probably going to have them ironed out but very soon. I hope the wheel covers come back soon.

Bro I have a Model Y, I’m used to the screen HOWEVER I do think it’s lame they didn’t do the same as the S and X and put a speedometer in the normal spot.
I know people who that’s dealbreaker for them and for a $100,000 car it should keep up technology wise with the X and S.

Have you talked about how annoying the new Tesla update is with auto pilot. It watches you with the camera and beeps if you tilt your head the wrong way, or whatever. And if you cover up the camera, it instantly gets mad every time you put on auto pilot

The obsession with washing & polishing the CT cracks me up. I used to wash my Silverado every other year, whether it needed it or not.
Congrats but I just sat in one yesterday. I found the interior and exterior very cheap. Stainless scratches so easily. Visibility was terrible, small mirror was a joke. Even vanity mirrors were a joke. Some many ripples on the interior covering as they talked about. It just look cheap to me for a 100 k
