Fire Fun Facts:
‘Feeling’ and ‘Rather Be’ were shot in my bedroom. The cover art and tracklist for my “IG EP” were definitely subconsciously inspired by the artwork behind me, and the room light you see at the beginning of ‘Rather Be’.
I got the artwork on August 2nd, 2021 “running around NYC acting like a tourist”, as I’ve so eloquently put it before, a few days after my birthday.
Perfect place and time to add…yes, I’m a Leo. We can’t help it..but if I’m being honest, I’m not sorry.
I/we wanted the videos for the first two songs for ‘Heartbreaker Hitmaker’ to feel very personal, close-up, and conversational like the tracks were written.
I wrote ‘Feeling’ in 13 minutes on January 28th, 2023. ‘Rather Be’ was split into 3 days about an hour and a half total, a little lengthier for me due to trying out an interchangeable chorus.
Aside from the obvious comfy vibes and feminine touch, the baggy clothes are open to be interpreted as wearing a significant other’s clothes for comfort.
Last but not least, moving forward I’ll be leaving notes on each video. I haven’t seen this done before, so I’m hoping this will be a new and unique way for me to connect with my subscribers.
